Califia Farms earns largely positive reviews for creamy, clean-ingredient plant milks, barista oat blends, and smooth cold brews that froth well and perform in coffee, baking, and smoothies, indicating the brand works for daily use. Reviews also flag downsides: some find flavors “oily,” “plastic-tasting,” or overpowering, certain non-organic lines include gums and oils, calcium can be low, and taste divides on the Kids/Complete varieties.

  • My favorite almond milk! I think both the taste and the consistency are superior to other brands that I have tried.

  • I really enjoy this brand of plant-based milk. Their almond milk is nice and sweet, and by far my favorite of any other almond milk brand. It's a bit expensive, but most plant based products are!

  • My favorite almond milk creamer! I’m more of an oat milk girl myself, but if it’s not available at the grocery store I really love Califia almond milk.

  • I've tried the coconut, oat, and almond milks. All really nice. Generally thicker in consistency than other brands which seem really like water. Packaging is unique and holds and pours well for such a large size.

  • Califia's almond milk strikes a great balance between quality and price. They use simple ingredients, particularly their 3-ingredient almond milk, but some of their competitors charge more. It's my go-to brand when I want a more pure dairy-free milk and am willing to spend a little extra to not have the additives that are in cheaper milks.

  • Very much mid/just okay. Oatly has the better oat milk, Almond Breeze has the better almond milk. Califia's products have always tasted a bit oily to me.

  • The Califia Almond Milk varieties are a staple in our house. Without all of the added gums and fillers of other brands, I like that Califia plant-based products still have a good, thick consistency and pure flavor. The Toasted Coconut Almond Milk is especially good for baking, smoothies, or cereal for a subtle yet unique flavor.

  • Their chocolate milk, is delicious, and their cold brew is good too. I've had their regular almond milk, but the chocolate milk is so much more memorable.

  • Love Califia!! Have been using them for years and find them to make reliably fantastic products.

  • i used to drink califia pretty regularly, and majority of their products are good. i just think there are other alternative dairy options that are a bit more affordable.

  • One of my go to dairy free milks. I love their mocha coffee and coffee creamer, my favorite is the cinnamon roll creamer.

  • Very good cold brew lattes! I have only tried the vanilla flavor and it is very difficult to find in stores.

  • I love the Califa Farms plant based milks! They taste so good and are low in calories and sugar. We also use it in our cereals and smoothies and for baking too. The Kids Complete Plant Based milk is a favorite for us and helps the kids get the nutrients they need!

  • I have tried this brand over and over, different flavors etcetera and I am never happy with the flavor. They are always off in a way that I can’t really explain. At this point nothing they make entices me to trying them again.

  • The purchased my kids their kid oriented product. While I'm not sure why this is marketing towards kids or what the difference between this and one of their other products, but my kids were not necessarily a fan of this product. We drink a lot of variety of brands of milk but they said this particular one tasted a little bit interesting and different to them, they did not like it. I loved it and I thought it was very delicious.

  • The only almond milk on the market that I can find easily with no filler or junk added. I am excited to see they are expanding their product range and cannot wait to try the new coffee creamers in the wide variety of flavors!

  • The flavor and texture are fine, but the point of drinking non-dairy milks (for me at least, but probably also lots of other vegans) is to get calcium. There is a very small amount of calcium in these, that you’d have to drink too much to get enough.
