  • I love the mission to reduce plastic waste but like other’s have said it has a card box aftertaste that can be unpleasant. Not as gross as the plastic aftertaste or metallic taste from reusable bottles. The packaging itself is cute too.

  • this is a classic, I remember when this first came out in like 2016 and I was obsessed. it is sustainable, it tastes good, and it is aesthetic. I have no complaints

  • I first tried Boxed Water when I was in California. It quenched my thirst on a hot summer night. Boxed Water is water served in cartons. Yes, it's water served in eco-friend cartons that is recyclable and healthy for the environment. The overall taste is not overly impressive. Tastes like cardboard, not a big fan. Yes, Boxed Water goes through a purification process, which is fantastic. It is a great concept idea to serve it in cartons to help the environment because I'm not a big fan of plastic . The company has a great overall mission plan, #BETTERPLANET, while serving quality water. I would definitely recommend this product. Its pricer than most but if you don't mind, give it a try. It will sure quench your thirst as it did mine.

  • I usually buy this water before my cycling or pilate sport class - the water taste is great and neutral (for people that don't like water that have a taste you can go for this one!)> 8 step water purification process - the quantity is perfect, especially for a sport class - the company mission is great > You post an image of the bottle with a # and they plant 2 trees, 100% recyclable and refillable (I usually use my bottle for a week after buying it - they give some advice to clean the bottle before each use - they don't push to over consumption which is great!) - BPA free - Great packaging - Less is more!

  • Whenever I'm without my reusable water bottle, I love that there is a non-plastic, recyclable alternative to quench my thirst. Lovely design also.

  • I’ve been a fan of Boxed Water for a while now, though mostly because of the concept and design rather than the actual water. On principle, I really appreciate what the brand stands for: reducing single-use plastic, using a recyclable and renewable package, and making something as simple as bottled water feel a little more intentional. The design itself is clean and minimal, easy to spot on a shelf. I also love that it slips easily into a bag without rolling around like a traditional bottle, and the mini size is especially handy for travel or when I just want a quick sip. That said, the taste isn’t flawless. There’s a faint “box” note that comes through, and while it’s not overwhelming, it does make the water feel slightly less fresh than what you’d get from glass or even a high-quality plastic bottle.

  • Water has a nice flavor (not metallic, etc.) and I like the recyclable nature of the package.

  • I have had to purchase this since it was the only option. I think it does not have the same taste as regular water and I think it is hard to recycle since it is lined with plastic.

  • I'm still not a huge fan of none plastic water bottles, but for an eco-friendly alternative, this seems to be the best choice out there. Unfortunately though, they never seem to get as cold as I'd like them to be.

  • It's water.... I've said all along water is one of the most purchased items, so why not put it in a sustainable material like aluminum or paper? This is a great option for this!

  • Boxed Water is a great alternative to plastic bottles! The taste is clean, and I love the eco-friendly packaging. It's refreshing to have a product that not only hydrates but also aligns with sustainability efforts. The convenience of the carton makes it easy to take on the go, and it’s just as crisp and refreshing as any other water. Definitely a smart, environmentally-conscious choice!

  • I used to drink these at festivals years ago. They are just ok. I like the sustainability of it though. That’s a perk. But it’s just water so nothing special about that itself

  • Pretty funny to see the mixed reviews here. I'm not much of a water snob, so maybe my opinion isn't as valid - but Boxed Water just tastes like good water to me. Similar situation as Liquid Death - they have great branding, but it's a pretty simple product. Appreciate their commitment to sustainability and their community initiatives. But TLDR, it's just water. And it tastes like water. LOL.

  • Boxed water is better! Tastes fine, cap is sturdy on the box. Cool packaging

  • Water is water. It lacked the flavor I'd expected it to have (you know how you can tell waters have added minerals for taste?) and instead I could tell this was inside cardboard. Love the sustainable packaging, love how this blew up on Tumblr in 2014. But it's just water.

  • It’s water. In a cardboard box. That’s about it, there’s no truly special thing about this water besides the idea that you can post it on Instagram.

It definitely tastes slightly of cardboard. I’d like to see flavors of water introduced as well.

  • The water is yummy but it’s overpriced for what you get. The packaging is innovative and fun, but again, overpriced.

  • This water is never cold, and somehow manages to taste stale. I appreciate the environmentally conscious design, but at that point call it a day and use a reusable bottle or a cup.

  • I was pleasantly surprised by how cool and refreshing the water remains. I typically prefer glass and aluminum bottles, but the water remains crisp and delicious.
