Bee’s Wrap earns mixed-to-positive reviews: it reduces plastic use and works well for sandwiches, cheese, bread, and produce, yet cleaning proves finicky and the wax adhesion can degrade quickly. Reviews praise its easy-to-use sizes, attractive patterns, pleasant beeswax scent, and reusability, while noting issues with bowl sealing, scent and taste transfer, residue, lack of transparency, and difficulty maintaining hygiene without hot water or strong soap.

This is my favorite wrap for homemade or fresh bread. It preserves the moisture just enough to keep the bread soft, without making the crust soggy (like happens if you put it in a bag). Have used it for over a year now, and it still looks brand new. Easy to clean. No issues with the wax wearing out or peeling off. Love it!

As much as I wanted to give these 5 stars for their eco-friendliness, they cleaning process is quite difficult and even with proper care the wax coating began to thin/pill in less than 6 months. So overall I find these incredibly useful!! They’re great for sandwiches, keeping fruit fresh in the fridge, and really just wrapping up any & all items! They cling honestly better than cling wrap & really do hold! I also absolutely love how environmentally friendly these are - they’ve replaced all plastic wrap in the house! The biggest pain point (from someone who loves to clean but also hates wasting too much time on dishes) is the cleaning! It’s very difficult to get cold enough water from the tap that is required for maintaining the water supply wax coating properly (instructions say cold water to clean with soap so wax doesn’t melt). On top of that they indicate that scrubbing should be kind of gentle but I’ve found that the wraps are way more sensitive and require MINIMAL scrubbing with incredibly light pressure and honestly really just using your hand and not a sponge (too abrasive). This, in turn, makes it hard to then get the cling wrap fully clean without accidentally wearing down the wax coating - which ends up pilling and leaving your hands and items/food sticky. So truly after being so careful with cold water and minimal abrasion, I found almost all of my wraps to have spots with sticky, thinning wax. I do still use them with those coating issues, but it is just honestly frustrating and makes using them feel like a chore because cleaning is so tedious and still results in wax pilling up and sticky hands. On the plus side, I’ve read that these are very easy to restore with an iron and wax paper - but I can’t get confirm as I haven’t gotten wax paper to restore them. I am planning to fix them, but selfishly I do find it frustrating that I have to restore them after only 6 months of use. I can update once I’ve attempted to restore them with results! TLDR - Despite working incredibly well, they require more work to clean than indicated and even then, they aren’t as durable as they advertise. They work incredibly well but, these wraps require a lot of care and time. Overall I think this eco-friendly choice is worth the care & time required, but I wish I had aware before buying. I also wish I would have bought more than 3 wraps so I could rotate wraps in & out of use so they last longer!

cool concept, but truthfully the wraps are insanely sticky and would sometimes make my sandwich taste weird. i used to have bread with flour sprinkled on it sometimes, and it would always stick to the wrapper so bad it would be difficult to wash off
I really like the concept of this product. I think it's great to have an alternative to plastic wrap, and I like that this brand offers lots of different patterns. My only issue is that it's a bit hard to use, and it doesn't stick to itself as well as plastic wrap does.
I've used a lot less cling wrap over the years, thanks to Bee's Wrap. But sometimes I wonder about the cleanliness/hygiene of the product since you shouldn't wash them with soap. At some point, you need to make a trade-off, wash them properly with soap, and eventually, they will just lose their effectiveness. But that's ok! We still use Bee's Wrap and have repurchased new ones several times. I do however, definitely prefer glass containers over everything else.
I like bees wrap and I will probably buy more, but if I have to compare it to cling wrap, it doesn’t work as well. It doesn’t stick as well, requires cleaning and isn’t see-through. I do feel really good about not using plastic though. I’ve seen some cute collaborations with Parks Project and those will be my next!
I love the Earth and I love that this brand is on a mission to help reduce waste and all, but Jesus Christ I cannot get over the smell of this product. Two stars for sustainability. Zero stars because I really just can't with the smell.
I have bought these for myself and as a gift for my friends to use. I love using these bee wax to just wrap anything substituting the use of plastic wraps. They keep it fresh and nice. It lasts pretty well for a few years I would say as long as you avoid using it in high temp. (the wax will melt) I would want to have it a bit more sticking.
Love these and they last so long. Great to give as gifts.
These are great, though they do get gross after a while and I get conflicted about washing them with soap. I threw them out in the end.
You can save a lot of plastic wrap with this product. Be careful to not heat it, wash it in warm/hot water, or use harsh soap as the wax either melts or dissolves.
I wanted to love this but it didn’t last very long or work very well. The wax was coming off so quickly and getting everywhere.
I love the concept of Bee's Wrap so much, but it's a bit finicky to use. You can't get the wraps too hot with water or the wax goes away, and you also can't use soap. I love the homesteady vibe of using these, but ultimately I will just use tupperware or silicone toppers when I'm trying to not use plastic wrap.

Nice sustainable alternative

Annoying to wash and comes apart quite easily, would rather use a tupperware
Mine fell apart quirky, which likely in part to my constant use of it. I loved the sustainable aspect of it. The stickiness of the wax fell apart very quickly, but I continued to use it regularly.

I would say just to be wary to remember what you have wrapped up- I have found that sometimes my wrapped veggies fall to the back of the fridge!
Such a cool product and innovative use of material!! I got this as a gift and it has a special place in my kitchen. I love to use it to wrap any type of produce in (avocado, tomato, etc). A great sustainable replacement for plastic.

I wish I could afford to buy more!
Received free somewhere. Just ok
I really like this wrap-never ever buying plastic wrap ever again. This is so much thicker and because of that-it probably maintains the food better

For what it is, Bees Wrap is the best. I’ve tried other brands and homemade wax wraps and these are excellent quality. That said, you must be understanding it’s not an exact replacement for plastic wrap but if you are up for some small efforts for a much more eco friendly product, then this is great to have in your stash! They don’t seal tightly over bowls, you must not use them with heat, and I never use mine on meats. Compared to other similar products, bees wrap was the first I encountered and still holds up as a great texture and flexibility. A lovely, mild beeswax smell and reusable many times over I like to fold sandwiches in it, store cheeses and toss them on bowls that don’t have lids.
