Aesop earns strong reviews for luxurious scents, elegant packaging, and body-care standouts like Resurrection and Reverence Aromatique Hand Washes, yet opinions split on value. Reviews praise sensorial formulas that feel indulgent and often effective for hands and body, while noting weaknesses: high prices, plastic/leaky pumps, perfumes with short longevity, and some skincare that irritates sensitive skin or underperforms.

Really love the hand wash, smells so good and feels so premium
Pricey but worth it. I have been asked what sent Im wearing off the street when I use their hand soap.
Super high quality products that smelled divine! I got their roll-on deodorant and I love it.

It’s on the pricey end so I’m selective about which of their products I’ll purchase, but you get your money’s worth for sure.
These products smell and feel so unbelievably decadent and luxurious. Unfortunately, it also means that they come at a high price tag. For an indulgence or gift, Aesop products would be such a nice gift to receive. If only they were priced so that you could use their products every day!
THE SMELL: DIVINE! I put out this soap when I have guests staying over and they always get excited, lol. I also love their lotions. Every product feels like such a treat and the scents are so unique. Highly recommend!
I recently tried Aesop’s skincare, haircare, and body care products, and I’m incredibly impressed with the quality. The ingredients are top-notch, and you can feel the difference in how soft and nourished my skin feels after use. Their products, like the [specific product], offer a luxurious experience with every application. While they are a bit pricey, the quality justifies the cost, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for premium skincare.
high-quality 🤝🏻 high price. Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash is my absolute favourite. I loooove the exfoliating bits, and the aroma is just magical!
The chamomile face mask is SO good. I used it after a month of many flights and climate changes overnight. It really reduced inflammation and quenched my skin. I actually just used a sample so I will def be buying the full size one. Highly recommend if you live in dry areas.
Let's start with the downside - it's super expensive. If you're still with me, I have to say, it's worth it. The scents are beautiful and not at all "in your face", not to mention the visual appeal of the products, of course. I've been hooked on their Perfect Facial Hydrating Cream, as I believe it suits my dry skin very well and is super light. That said, it's not great to travel with as the cream sort of swishes around the jar and into the lid. When it comes to their facial cleansers and tonics - they're up there for me too! The same goes for the hand wash -- probably one thing I could splurge on a little, as it's more reasonable in price than the rest and still gives that luxury feeling.
I LOVE their blue chamomile facial hydrating masque! It is very expensive, so it's not something I use regularly. But I see myself repurchasing just for the winter months since you're only supposed to use it 1-2 times a week anyway. It was insanely hydrating! I used it after cleansing my face at night and left it on overnight. My skin was soooo soft in the morning, even despite the winter weather.

Expensive! Great products.
I’m so serious when I say that this shampoo has completely changed the game. It was in an Airbnb. I stayed in one time, and I was absolutely shocked when I saw my hair the next morning after using it. It was shiny bouncy, and like nothing I have ever experienced.
I've always passed by an Aesop store and marveled at its aesthetic/branding, however was always skeptical at its ingredients and squeeze bottle packaging. $50 for a 16.9 fl oz of shampoo? Scam, flex, or highway robbery? Dependent on your preference for smelly scents and purpose, my opinion of the brand varies on the products. The shampoo and conditioner work fine, but aren't life changing and can be rotated in with your typical drug store brands-Herbal Essence, Head & Shoulders, but I think the real sad part is that their hand balm doesn't keep its hydration differentiator. After a dollop of Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, my hands still feel dry and dehydrated where I'm not too sure how much I need to smother at $33 for a 2.6 oz. The worst part is that I'll apply the Resolute Hydrating Body Balm in the morning after washing my face, and there'll be white dry remnants on my face which I have to use a dab of water to smooth out, or throughout the day there'll be white streaks found on my face, which is embarrassing. If you're doing a flat lay or medicine cabinet shelfie, by all means but nothing here sticks out worth shelling out $$ for.
Earthy and unique scent profiles - all smells really natural but I do wish the brand was more aligned with clean ingredients. Pricey but still a big fan of the hand soap!
Really nice products, but something that I only buy when I'm really rewarding myself because there are definitely cheaper alternatives that meet my needs enough. They have a sunscreen lotion that is my favourite ever.
aesop is an experience more than just a purchase. i love going in stores where i can test out products and see what works for me. i have purchased various lotions and balms from aesop and tend to gravitate towards the citrus scents. they are expensive, but they make great gifts and are worth the price.
I always feel so bougie by using the soaps they smell, so good! They dry out my hands so I always try to keep lotion nearby
God! If only I could afford every single item they carry. The hand lotion and hand soap are guilty pleasures and perfect for gifts. Always on my wish list so perfect for secret Santa’s, stocking stuffers, picky bday gift eta etc!
Innovative products with great scents and ingredients but I always feel like the price point (as other reviews have mentioned) is too high for me to make it a go-to product.
Not worth the hype. I love design, branding and fragrances but don’t get the hype. The bottle is plastic. The ingredients are basic and not organic. Plus: it’s too expensive for what it is.
