Aesop is a luxury brand known for its quality products, unique scents, and aesthetic packaging. Many patrons appreciate the brand's focus on providing an elevated sensory experience, from the invigorating fragrances to the indulgent textures. However, the high price point is a common concern, with some customers feeling that the product's effectiveness and longevity do not fully justify the cost. Additionally, a few reviewers noted that while the products smell great, they do not provide as much hydration as expected, and some were disappointed by the shift from glass to plastic packaging.

  • Beautiful product! I love the packaging and love the products. My favorites so far are the Resurrection Hand Wash and the Hwyl Fragrance. I love washing my hands with the hand wash - the feeling I leave with it clean and sexy. The fragrance is a winner - liked by my male and female friends. Spectacular all around

  • The chamomile face mask is SO good. I used it after a month of many flights and climate changes overnight. It really reduced inflammation and quenched my skin. I actually just used a sample so I will def be buying the full size one. Highly recommend if you live in dry areas.

  • I recently tried Aesop’s skincare, haircare, and body care products, and I’m incredibly impressed with the quality. The ingredients are top-notch, and you can feel the difference in how soft and nourished my skin feels after use. Their products, like the [specific product], offer a luxurious experience with every application. While they are a bit pricey, the quality justifies the cost, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for premium skincare.

  • Aesop’s Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash is the ultimate in luxurious hand care! The formula is gentle yet effective, leaving my hands feeling soft, clean, and refreshed without drying them out. The scent is divine—herbal and citrusy, it’s both invigorating and calming, turning a simple hand wash into a sensory experience. I also love that it’s made with high-quality ingredients, reflecting Aesop's commitment to premium skincare. If you're looking for a hand wash that’s both indulgent and effective, this is a must-have! 🌿💧

  • high-quality 🤝🏻 high price. Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash is my absolute favourite. I loooove the exfoliating bits, and the aroma is just magical!

  • Fantastic smells and products. Their deodorant smells and works great- but it’s not a 24h stick. Which I like

  • I have used the face care and the body products and love and adore the fragrances. The facial oil and the parsley serum have helped my skin recover from dehydration and travel. I love the smell of all of their stuff. As far as skincare goes, I did not see any major skin changes but I liked it - it was just pretty expensive. I have purchased Reverence, Resurrection, In Two Minds face wash and face lotion, the line of Parsley skincare, and the facial oil. The glass bottles, while sustainable, are a little bulky for travel. I loved the hydrating mask sample and would purchase.

  • Best Shampoo & conditioner if hair falling out

I love the shampoo and conditioner Before I started using it my hair was thinning and no matter what shampoo or conditioner I used I would loose up to 60 strands of hair per wash and the floor would be covered with my hair I was devastated as I am pretty young for my age. But my hair and my vanity was saved the day I tried my friends AESOP hair products. To my amazement no hair fell out! I thought I’m going to try this. Normally the price would put me off but I looked at my thinning scraggly hair and as the say in the classic I decided I was worth it. Today 4 months later my boyfriend told me I had lovely thick hair I went and kissed my original bottles of ARSOP I just love it and I hardly ever write reviews

  • Love the brand, the products (I have way more than I’m comfortable disclosing) and the stores. 10/10 experience.

I wish I could buy refill bags instead of having to purchase new not so eco friendly bottles every time.

  • USD$30 for a hand lotion.... worth it. As a lil treat. Smells divine, absorbs quickly, medium hydration. The perfect daily hand lotion. I tried a sample of their body lotion and was disappointed in how long it took to rub in. I have tried samples of their face wash and face cream. Again, their scents are divine. It's like I am in some mystical ancient apothecary. Effective wise... okay. I think some items here are 100% worth the price and some are not. Aesop has great customer service and you can test most products in store or through a sample before purchasing.

  • Nothing about this body cleanser felt luxury. It had the weakest scent ever, I’ve had better from smaller businesses. I was so sold from the reviews of how WONDERFUL it smelled. Lies. It lathers and cleans very well but so does dove soap. If I’m paying close to $50 I want a $50 experience. This just wasn’t it. The aesthetics are great and fine but what was the hype for honestly? It’s a mediocre body cleanser. It’s not even on the cleaner side of beauty products. I’m auger underwhelmed.

Cleaner products for the price or more exclusive ingredients.

  • Unfortunately, my skin is too sensitive for their products, so can not really use any of their products for my face. I But I do use the body wash and hand cream, and two of their parfums are my every day choice! The scents are amazing!!

    Feedback

Essential oils and natural ingredients in the formulations are too aggressive for sensitive skin.

  • Tested out Aesop products while staying at the Venice V Hotel in Venice Beach, CA. The products are luxurious, provide an enjoyable sensorial experience, and look beautiful in a bathroom setting. However, I don’t think that the high price point is justified. With the expensive price tag, I was surprised that the bottles are plastic instead of glass. Additionally, the body balm didn’t seem any more moisturizing than an affordable lotion from Target or Walmart.

  • I have everything Aesop all through out my home. Love the smell of the hand wash and incense. Also, the fact that it was founded in Australia holds a special place in my heart.

  • Aesop, so expensive, so iconic. The price hasn’t stopped me from buying their hand soaps because I am a sucker for the exfoliating options. But what is up with the pump bottle? I feel like for $60+ a pop my soap dispenser shouldn’t leak after each use. I’m constantly wiping down the bottle and wasting precious product!

  • Luxury and indulgence are the first words that come to mind when I think about Aesop, a brand that has mastered the art of elevating everyday skincare and body products to an exquisite sensory experience. Although I have mixed feelings about the scent of their iconic Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, it never fails to transport me to a serene spa or a memorable vacation, making it a nostalgic indulgence in my self-care routine. The essence of Aesop lies in the meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality ingredients, which are evident in each of their carefully crafted products. From the minimalist yet elegant packaging to the rich, nourishing formulations, every aspect of Aesop exudes sophistication and luxury. The brand's focus on botanical ingredients, many of which are meticulously sourced, adds to the overall allure and makes each product feel like a treat for the senses. While I must admit that the scent of the Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm is not my absolute favorite, it possesses a certain charm that keeps me coming back for more. The unique blend of mandarin rind, rosemary leaf, and cedar atlas is undeniably invigorating and refreshing. However, it is the memories and feelings it evokes that make it truly special. With each application, I'm transported to a tranquil spa, enveloped in a sense of calm, or reminded of a blissful vacation spent exploring exotic locales. Despite my ambivalence towards the scent, there's no denying the quality and efficacy of the Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm. The rich, non-greasy formula quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving my hands soft, hydrated, and rejuvenated. It's a luxurious treat that I can't help but indulge in, even if the fragrance isn't my personal favorite.

  • I give Aesop 5-stars for the Resolute body balm alone. It’s my go-to product and I go through so much of it, but it’s absolutely worth it to me. The balm is so rich and luxurious, and I LOVE the scent - which is so unique and warm. I have yet to try another balm that feels and smells like Resolute. Also, every Aesop store I’ve ever been to has been an amazing experience!

  • Whoa the quality of this line is AMAZING but at a steep cost. I walked in the store because I had seen this brand at various encounters (stores, airports, restaurant bathrooms) and so when I walked in I was looking for specific things of my needs but the associate was super helpful in guiding me and my husband to each of our skin appropriate needs. The quality of the whole system is so worthwhile, it blew us away the feeling of “gifting” ourself a few items for self care

  • I already admired the brand a lot and finally got a set of orange body cream and hand wash as a Christmas present.

I'm in love with the smell, the packaging, the result on my skin. I definitely recommend!

  • I have been a fan of Aesop for many years and have consistently been impressed with the quality of their products. I have found that their products are effective on my skin concerns (like psoriasis) and I love the luxurious feel and scent of their formulations. I believe that the quality of the ingredients and formulations is worth the investment.
