Reviews mention

  • Calming sos spray performance
  • Non‑sticky hydrating lip gloss
  • Gentle eczema‑friendly formulas
  • Blendable, natural‑finish complexion
  • Chlorine‑like sos spray scent
  • Glittery heavy balm bronzer
  • Inconsistent mascara longevity
  • Cream blush limited longevity

Tower 28 Beauty earns largely positive reviews for sensitive-skin-friendly formulas—standouts include the SOS Spray/Serum, ShineOn Lip Jelly glosses, SunnyDays SPF foundation, and the Swipe Serum Concealer—delivering calming, hydrating wear and easy, dewy application. Reviews also flag weaknesses: SOS’s hypochlorous mist can smell chlorinated and feel overhyped, some cream blushes and Bronzino lack longevity or run glittery/heavy, mascara may clump or smudge over time, packaging hinges and gloss leakage occur, and SunnyDays can oxidize, skew warm/yellow, or cling to dry patches depending on skin type.

  • Big fan of Tower 28's clean ingredients and especially hooked on their lip gloss. I haven't branched out much into their other products but look forward to trying more in the future!

  • I started with the illuminating bronzer and loved it. The price wasn't too crazy so it's definitely going to be a firm part of my makeup routine. I also recently purchased the under eye concealer and have been loving the coverage on this item also. Great brand.

  • Lots of great products in the Tower 28 lineup but my favorite is the concealer. It has the best texture and is so easy to apply. I also like the SOS Spray, blushes, and ShineOn Lip Jelly. Not too expensive either.

  • The mascara is my favorite. Love the applicator and that it comes in a brown color. The blush applies well. The SOS spray works well, but there are cheaper versions to be found.

  • Really love the SOS lip balm and spray. Good for sensitive skin

  • Generally great products for the price point! The formulas of the concealer, moisturizer and SOS spray are all amazing and are on par with more expensive brands. The packaging quality definitely gives away the lower price point but I do not mind because the formulas are so great!

  • my favorite makeup/skincare brand! I have sensitive skin and none of their products irritate me!

  • really fun packaging for quality products. i use their blush almost daily!

  • The SOS spray has been pretty good for healing broken skin and soothing my face when it's inflamed. When used on acne, I have hit or miss results, but either way, I love a facial spray and its nice to mist on my skin throughout the day!

  • I absolutely love the formula and the colors but unfortunately the product give me an allergic reaction on my cheeks

  • I bought the SOS spray based on a recommendation from a Sephora employee who spoke highly of it and called it a "cure all" for their skin. After testing it on my skin for a few weeks, I think it works well as a moisturizing spray before you put on any serums, but I didn't notice a difference in my acne. The spray isn't outrageously expensive, but I won't be repurchasing as I didn't notice any benefits and I ended up using it mainly as a moisturizing spray similar to the Evian spray instead of as intended. It also has a slightly unpleasant odor which is very noticeable when you spray it on your face.

  • these blushes have been amazing! i love the range of colors and the pigment is so rich and buildable. i love the versatility of being able to use it for my lips too

  • I adore my Tower 28 bronzer—it has a beautiful finish and doesn’t upset my sensitive skin.

  • I have the very Asian problem of baby eyelashes, and have gone through so many brands and types of mascara over the last 10 years that I quit them for a year to use falsies. I gave them a break a few months ago because they were thinning, and decided to try mascara while I waited for my lashes to fill out again. I looked for Asian-founded + Asian-approved mascaras thinking maybe my peers had discovered a better one by 2023, and stumbled across MakeWaves. Boy howdy. My nonexistent eyelashes suddenly went from barely there to long and luscious. The application is easy, it doesn't smudge, sticks on my lashes all day, and I'm completely in love. My only problem now is figuring out how to hold a curl since this doesn't help with straight lashes, but if you need length and volume, MakeWaves doesn't disappoint. I'd recommend it to anyone! After giving their mascara two-thumbs up, I've also invested in the ShineOn lip jellies and, again, the gloss doesn't disappoint! It doesn't dry out or leave my lips tacky or sticky, applies so smoothly, and comes in so many bomb colors. I'm obsessed with the sesame and cashew. Overall, I've been really into Tower 28 lately and will continue to try their products.

  • I've tried their lip jellies and milky jelly, lip balm, tinted SPF, contour, blush, mascara, SOS moisturizer, and concealer and overall their products are really solid. The lip products are great, and I liked the lip glosses (I have 3) much more than the lip balm. The tinted SPF has a slight smell to it but that's typical for physical SPFs. The concealer is new and the formula is great for my minimal makeup days!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE All of their products are reasonably priced and eczema approved. Their products not only are good for your skin and don't irritate it, but they actually work and are very pigmented!

  • I love everything about Tower 28. I have two of their BeachPlease Cream Blushes and the SunnyDays Tinted SPF 30. Really can't say enough great things about both. I have hormonal chin acne which can often get irritated by face makeup, but these products have never caused me any issues. The Tinted SPF is SO smooth and leaves me looking hella glowy. Cream blushes are super pigmented and I honestly think it's going to take me a year to get through them. The only product I have from Tower28 that I'm not obsessed with is the Bronzino Cream Bronzer. It provides such a beautiful shimmer, but there's absolutely no pigment so I have to use a different cream bronzer and then apply a bit of Bronzino on top for an extra shine. Cannot wait to try their new Swipe Serum Concealer once I finish up some of the others I already have opened as well as the MakeWaves Mascara and JuiceBalm Lip Balm. Lastly, have to mention that they work with nonprofits committed to environmental conservation (which is super important to me), use recycled plastics in their packaging (again super important), and maybe most importantly they don't test on animals nor do they include animal byproducts.

  • This brand is truly a GOD SEND for my skin. I’ve watched this brand grow since the first time it took shelf space in Sephora (I wanna say it was 2018? Or 2019?) and I’ve have loved EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT that has been launched. (No exaggeration, not at all sponsored) • TOP FAVE PRODUCTS: Definitely their skincare! SOS Spray, SOS serum and SOS moisturizer have literally saved my skin from soo many reaction flare ups and monthly hormonal acne • LEAST FAVE PRODUCTS: If I had to get picky, sometimes the tinted moisturizer doesn’t last too long on my skin, but I only try to use it on my days off when I’m running errands and want a little bit of makeup and don’t need a full face Overall, I would definitely recommend trying anything and/or everything from the brand and it’s for sure one of my favorite makeup brands to come around. ❤️

  • I'm obsessed with the lip gloss from Tower 28, it's not sticky, the colors show up well, and it's hydrating. I also have the tinted suncreen, which was expensive, but has enough coverage that it's a substitute for foundation so that counts as a win to me. So far I haven't tried anything from Tower 28 that I haven't liked.
