Tatcha earns largely positive reviews as a luxurious, effective skincare line, with standouts like The Dewy Skin Cream, The Water Cream, The Rice Wash/Polish, Camellia Cleansing Oil, and The Silk Canvas primer delivering soft, glowy, smooth skin and strong makeup prep. However, reviewers flag weaknesses: some formulas feel heavy or sticky, fragrance irritates sensitive skin, sunscreens and a few moisturizers underwhelm, and results can be average relative to hype.

I really, really like Tatcha. Prior to shelling out the dough for true medical-grade skincare, this was all I used! I didn't have a product I didn't love. My entire skincare line was from Tatcha, from the sunscreen to the face wash to the toner. The products are friendly for sensitive skin and a pleasure to use.

I'd say it's a little pricey but if you're not ready to drop the big bucks, this is a nice "in-between" from the lower to mid range products to the stuff you get from a Plastic Surgeon's office.
I hate to say it but I love Tatcha products! Every single one I’ve tried so far has been doing exactly what I needed it to do. The water cream is light but hydrating and the silk canvas??? CHEFS KISS!!! I have started using it recently and even though I do love my rare beauty primer, the Tatcha primer is like… magic to me. I also give Tatcha minis away to like all of my friends because I get them through Ipsy and they are all hooked as well 😂 plus I recently learned that they do massive philanthropy (like not just donate some cash but also show up and actually care about it) and that just gaves me extra respect for them!

I find their website to not be super user friendly so I purchase all of my Tatcha through Sephora or subscribtion brands like Ipsy!
I use their dewy skin cream and I use it everyday.

Some great products. Have tried serum, sunscreen, hand cream and moisturizer. Everything smells great beautiful packaging.
On the high end price side, don’t really see the hype.
I used to always use the One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil. It took my makeup off really easily without breaking out my sensitive combination skin.
I love this brand. The Deep Cleanse and The Water Cream are my fave indulgences. Their series of rice enzyme cleaners are super effective too!! It completely changed my skin texture from bumpy to buttery smooth, without drying me out. Their moisturizers have never caused buildup and feel so weightless. As someone with oily skin, heavy moisturizers do more harm than good, but Tatcha’s lineups have never done me wrong.
I’ve been using Tatcha for a few weeks, and it’s been decent. The Water Cream is lightweight and hydrates without feeling greasy, while the Dewy Skin Cream gives a subtle glow. My skin feels smooth, but I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes yet.
The Tatcha Rice Wash is a skincare dream come true! It’s incredibly gentle yet effective, leaving my skin feeling clean, soft, and perfectly balanced. The creamy texture feels luxurious, and the subtle scent is so calming—it turns washing my face into a spa-like experience. I love how it exfoliates just enough without being harsh, thanks to the finely milled rice. It’s perfect for daily use, and my skin always looks smoother and brighter after. Plus, it’s great for sensitive skin! If you’re looking for a cleanser that’s gentle, luxurious, and truly works, the Tatcha Rice Wash is a must-have. Highly recommend!
a bit more scented than I would prefer, but super moisturizing. A bit overpriced
I have tried serval tatcha products and I really think it’s worth the money. I have tried the face powder, dewy setting spray, pore filling primer, lip mask, the rice face wash and dewy cream.

Love this brand, but it’s quite on the pricey side.
Works!! Definitely pricey but after my husband bought me one of their sample size sets from Sephora I ended up purchasing full sizes for their water cream and oil cleanser. The oil cleanser is so great for double cleansing and makes me feel like I've gotten everything off from the day from makeup all the way to sunscreen.

Tatcha has mastered the art of simplicity and elegance, with their sleek, minimalistic designs and formulations, derived from the inspiration of beauty secrets learned from Japanese geishas. One of my favorite products of theirs is their Camellia Cleansing Oil. It's gentle, yet effective on the skin and leaves it feeling soft and nourished after use. The blend of camellia and rice bran oils is a winning combination, providing both cleansing and moisturizing benefits. I also love the Tatcha Silk Sunscreen. The formulation is moisturizing and leaves a beautiful satin finish. But here's why I took off a star — the packaging is beautiful but also terrible. It peels off in tiny flakes, sticking to my fingers and making it difficult for me to get the product without also getting flaked-off packaging on my hands and face. Their prices are on the higher side, but it is a luxurious experience to use (with the exception of when the packaging is falling apart). You could probably get just as high quality skincare elsewhere for less, but for some the aesthetic and the unique ingredients justify the price.
Overall, big fan of the brand and packaging but the only product I regularly use (after trying many) is the cleansing oil face wash. It does an incredible job removing makeup, including my tubing mascara, which other makeup removing washes fail to completely remove. The oil feels nice and light, and I greatly prefer it to Farmacy’s balm which feels greasy and heavy. The moisturizers are fine but imo a bit too pricy for the quality. I didn’t notice a difference after using the Essence, and their facial primer was good for blurring pores but just OK for holding on to foundation.
I absolutely love these products—they are all high-quality and thoughtfully made, with beautiful packaging. I do feel a difference in comparing this to lower-end skincare products. I've tried many of their products, and the only one that gave me irritation was the Silk Sunscreen, but I think that is just specific to my skin, because any of my friends that use it have no trouble. Relationship note—my best friend works for this company!

Although it's beautiful, I'd love more sustainable packaging, or options for refills in aluminum tins. It is also very expensive—a lovely gift to receive, or nice with a discount, but difficult to keep up with.
Love Tatcha! Used it a lot more in the past. Great ingredients.
Tatcha's products have a wonderful texture and melt into the skin well. I have used the Camellia Cleansing Oil, and it got all of my makeup off and left my skin feeling smooth and moisturized, without feeling like there was a residue. It is my favorite cleanser I've ever tried.

The products are very expensive, and I can definitely find other cleansers/products that have the same function, just without the feeling of luxury.

Not a fan. Very pretty packaging and definitely has that luxury feel but these products are so so so mediocre for being so so so expensive. Compared to all the asian beauty out there this stuff is so not worth it

It’s so good. And I’m kind of mad because it’s so good? Like I want the whole skincare system it’s that good and I’m working on it but skincare is expensive. The moisturizer is so lightweight and works
