Reviews mention

  • Exceptionally durable knit fabric
  • Run‑resistant, snag‑resistant performance
  • Comfortable supportive waistband
  • Versatile styles and patterns
  • Inconsistent sizing and inseam
  • Stiff, less‑silky texture
  • Waistband rolling under clothing
  • Visible shaping seams line

Sheertex earns strong reviews for delivering unusually durable, snag‑resistant tights that often outlast traditional pairs by months or years, with many noting they truly resist runs and even pet claws. However, reviews also flag fit inconsistencies (especially inseam/height issues), a stiffer, less‑silky hand feel, rolling waistbands or visible shaping seams, and occasional early snags or holes that undermine the “indestructible” promise.

  • Ok..I'm pretty surprised that the other reviews for Sheertex on this page are so glowing. I bought my first pair of tights in November 2023, wore them literally once - out to dinner - no crazy athletic activities - and I already have pulls in mine. The whole point is that they're supposed to be like....basically indestructible. I was so annoyed. Maybe I got a bum pair, but I am not seeing the magic here.

  • Instagram got me with this one. Thankfully, the impulse purchase worked in my favor. Before these babies, me and tights equaled water and oil. Pros: - Strong/durable as fuck - Washing machine/dryer safe Con: - Not completely unrippable as their marketing led me to believe (my sister was somehow able to rip one of my pairs) In Sum: - Buy these if you like me (a pro tights ripper).

  • I wanted to love these but unfortunately they were a disappointment for a couple of reasons: 1. They were incredible opaque. I think this is because I'm on the shorter side (5'3'') and they don't stretch out enough to be as transparent as they're meant to? This happened to another friend of mine who is 5'5''. 2. They're not very silky. My favorite pair are from Woolford and I much prefer their finish to these. Tbh, even a standard drug store pair has a better finish. The way I would describe them is almost like a standard cotton tee. While they didn't rip, these two factors are dealbreakers for me personally. Unless you're very tall or want a fully opaque pair, I wouldn't recommend. And don't buy them full price! They go on sale fairly often

  • i will not buy any other tights or knee-highs!! I wear these all the time, wash them in the machine in a bag, and wear them some more. Tons of wears, and not a single snag. Truly revolutionary for my wardrobe. I used to shy away from wearing skirts because having a decent pair of tights around was iffy AND if I did, I would always question if the wearing occasion was worthy of the tights! Now I just put em on and do my day. Very good.

  • I think these tights are the best thing since sliced bread. Every time I tell somebody about them, they either think it's not a big deal or a scam. It's not a scam - at most, it'll cost you $100 to never have to buy another pear black tights again in your life. They have different deniers/opacities, and beautiful patterns and colors. The website is always offering sales, and they're coming out with fishnets soon. I cannot wait.

  • You might be saying to yourself, "They're just tights. Why should I shell out more money for them?" Because these tights are indestructible. I've had them for three years, and they are still in perfect condition. No runs! My only qualm with them is that they are very size sensitive. But they run crazy sales, so it's easy to buy more!

  • These are amazing tights. Definitely expensive, but the brand frequently has sales, and they do NOT rip. Before trying these tights, I was replacing tights every 1-2 wears because they would constantly get snagged or start running, but these have lasted me several years and are still going strong. They're a little more stiff/thick feeling than your normal tights, but that doesn't really bother me personally. Absolutely worth the money for how much I've saved on constantly replacing my tights.

  • Bought these for my wife and they lasted for a looooong time. They did however develop “stripes” over time, but no holes.

  • I really like these tights and think that they are awesome... While they are pretty different than a super super sheer pair, I think there are a lot of pros... they are very very durable, they have nice styles, and they look good on. They are a thickness that does allow for some warmth. But I really prefer a super sheer tight, and that not this...

While they are durable, they do still get some imperfections, and thats kind of annoying given the price. Also the band is like a yoga pants material which doesnt sit flat under everything. They are a bit pricey, but they seem to go on sale a lot... I wear a size 8 and originally got a L which was way too big and I had a bunch of gapping in the waist/they fell down. So size down if you are hesitating.

  • Tough indeed! These tights are indestructible and look great.

The texture is a little weird, but most likely because they're so tough. If they could figure out away to make them a little softer, they'd be perfect!

  • These are everything that they say they are. I have had a great experience with them, no runs.

  • The best tights I’ve ever owned! Extremely durable and live up to the hype.

  • Ordered two pairs, traditional black and back seam. I ordered what I thought was the correct size, but I was way off. The return policy is super weird and they ended up just sending me a bigger size instead of allowing me to return. I gave the smaller pairs to a friend. I think the policy is fine, but sometimes you just want your money back! After all that, I have probably only reached for these once or twice.

I feel like these really aren’t all that necessary. They aren’t exceptionally comfortable. I don’t know…at the high price point, they aren’t worth it to me. I would honestly be happier spending a couple bucks on a pair that only lasts one wear, than $50+ on a pair I never touch. (I don’t actually do this because it’s wasteful)

  • I don't wear tights very often but I got a pair of these last October for halloween for a costume and they have held up in perfect condition on the handful of nights out since! I have a cat, and wanted a pair of tights that would last me ore than a night or two and these have done the trick well. I also appreciate the pair that I have that has a more opaque short section at the top. Would purchase another pair if I needed another tight at some point.

  • Clear straightforward brand value messaging and ordering experience! Came with a free pair of socks during holiday ordering, which I appreciated.

I think these are unfortunately made for tall women. I am 5'5" and straddle the line between petite clothing and regular (read: tall) clothing. I got the shape shaping ones that look like they are shorts on the top half and unfortunately they show through when I wear mini skirts. Wish this design was shorter so this wouldn't have been an issue. They're all final sale so I can't return them.

  • I got absolutely bombarded with ads when they first launched, and on a sale I got a pair of the stockings. They're durable for sure, not quite as stretchy as cheapies but I like the compression. They're also not entirely rip-proof - I definitely put a snag in them climbing a brick wall but you can hardly tell just by looking (and it hasn't gotten bigger over time like it would on a standard pair). The price point is a factor but I haven't bought another pair of tights since... wait for a sale but they're worth it.

  • My tights aren’t that great. I got sheer but they’re not that sheer and even.

  • Love their stockings and their shorts. They also have a great product guarantee - if anything goes wrong with it. They are pricier but I haven't replaced any of the ones I have bought so far (other than an exchange) I have also purchased their shorties - which is great during the summer months to prevent my leg rubbing together.

It's just a bit pricier, but since you don't have to replace them as often, totally worth it!

  • True to their claim, I've worn my my Sheertex tights ~10 times now and have had zero issues with snags or runs (typically a single wear of tights will result in a run for me). If they keep up this way I'd say they're worth the steep price (plus I hate having to go buy new tights and it's not very sustainable).

Would love the ultra sheer ones to be available more consistently! When I bought my Sheertex, they didn't have any ultra sheers available. The normal ones are still not too opaque, but I love a very sheer black tight.
