Sheertex tights are highly praised for their superior durability, frequent sales, and variety in designs. However, some negatives include inconsistency in the sheerness and a disappointment in the finish.

Instagram got me with this one. Thankfully, the impulse purchase worked in my favor. Before these babies, me and tights equaled water and oil. Pros: - Strong/durable as fuck - Washing machine/dryer safe Con: - Not completely unrippable as their marketing led me to believe (my sister was somehow able to rip one of my pairs) In Sum: - Buy these if you like me (a pro tights ripper).

I got absolutely bombarded with ads when they first launched, and on a sale I got a pair of the stockings. They're durable for sure, not quite as stretchy as cheapies but I like the compression. They're also not entirely rip-proof - I definitely put a snag in them climbing a brick wall but you can hardly tell just by looking (and it hasn't gotten bigger over time like it would on a standard pair). The price point is a factor but I haven't bought another pair of tights since... wait for a sale but they're worth it.

Really wirey, low quality per price stockings. For the price, you can cop a pair of Velvet De Luxe 66’s by Wolford on sale, which are 10x more comfortable and actually more durable! While the tights don’t make holes easily, they do show runs, and the control top is always my least favorite unnecessary detail.

I recently tried Sheertex tights, and overall, I was quite impressed! The durability is a game changer; I’ve worn them multiple times without any snags or runs, which is a rarity for tights. The material feels luxurious, and they fit snugly without being constrictive. I appreciate the variety of sizes and colors available, making it easy to find the perfect pair for any outfit. The only downside I encountered was the price point, which is higher than typical tights. However, given their longevity, I believe they’re a worthwhile investment. If you’re looking for tights that combine style and strength, Sheertex is definitely worth considering. I’d give them a solid four stars!

Bought the tights and wore them a handful of times, probably 3 times and they are already ripped and created a number of runs. For something that lasts as much as the drugstore ones, I would not buy them again.
I was bombarded with Instagram ads for Sheertex forever: “Pantyhoses that do not break?!" First I thought that can’t be true, and second, $99* is a lot of money.” Me 2 years after purchase: These tights are incredible, and they still feel like new (Sheertex claims that they can last up to 50 wears). For those who don’t understand the breakthrough: a thin pair of tights usually break after 1-2 wears. With Sheertex you actually end up saving money AND eliminating at least 10-15 pairs of waste. So what are they made of? A strong fiber which until now only had been used in ballistic products, like bulletproof vests. The material is self-healing, meaning that in case you do get a snag, you can in most cases stretch and manipulate the fabric back to shape. Y Combinator backed Sheertex was named one of TIME Magazines 50 Best in Inventions in 2018, and rightfully so. So cool, and so needed. 🙏 * I think Sheertex has decreased their pricing since my first purchase. I know this because I have bought them as gifts to multiple friends since :)

The price point, but as said already, they clearly are working on it, and ultimately, the price per wear is a lot less than normal pantyhoses. I also think Sheertex should work on their international shipping, I know multiple friends in Europe that have asked me to send Sheertex. 🌎
I ordered the Classic Sheer Rip-Resist Tights, and was really disappointed to have them get a hole on my knee within the first time wearing them. I do want to give a shout out that customer service was very responsive and is replacing them at no cost (and offered to change shipping address & size if needed). Ignoring that, I like that there's a really thick band on top, to avoid the pinching that comes with other tights.
I bought a pair on sale directly from their site about 2 years ago and have worn them several times - They absolutely deliver on their promise! The price is undoubtedly high for the product category, but anyone who wears tights often knows that in the end it is worth it. I live in a climate where fall, winter and spring are times that sometimes call for tights, so this is a must have!
I got a pair of Sheertex out of desperation since I'm constantly ripping my drugstore tights after only one or two wears. I like these! They do get runs easily and after a few wears mine got tiny holes, but they lasted longer than any other pair of tights I've ever had. For the price, I think they're worth the purchase.

Don't think that these tights are invincible. They can definitely get runs and holes.

I ordered my tights 5/21 and have worn them three times. Now I noticed that they have long snags and a tiny hole. How can this happen if they should be unbreakable? Company said I am not having my money back since they have only 30 days guarantee. In addition the company removes the comments which are negative from their FB feed and hides the ones on home page (you can only see the five star ones). I have left various negative comments about tights and all of them gone. I tried the technique to fix the snags they advised, but it does not work. Also, naturally, it does not solve the problem with the hole. The company is a scam, I'm very disappointed.
Sheertex makes great tights. What I like the most about them is how long they are. One of my biggest issues with tights is that I sometimes only get to wear them once or twice before they rip or get runs in them but not with Sheertex. These hold up well to numerous wears and washes. Sheertex also has a wide range of sizes from XS to 3X, which is great that they cater to customers of all sizes. The only downside is the price. I understand I'm paying for the quality and durability but an average of $59 a pair is a little steep.
Ok..I'm pretty surprised that the other reviews for Sheertex on this page are so glowing. I bought my first pair of tights in November 2023, wore them literally once - out to dinner - no crazy athletic activities - and I already have pulls in mine. The whole point is that they're supposed to be like....basically indestructible. I was so annoyed. Maybe I got a bum pair, but I am not seeing the magic here.

I think these tights are the best thing since sliced bread. Every time I tell somebody about them, they either think it's not a big deal or a scam. It's not a scam - at most, it'll cost you $100 to never have to buy another pear black tights again in your life. They have different deniers/opacities, and beautiful patterns and colors. The website is always offering sales, and they're coming out with fishnets soon. I cannot wait.
These are good. Love the quality.
You might be saying to yourself, "They're just tights. Why should I shell out more money for them?" Because these tights are indestructible. I've had them for three years, and they are still in perfect condition. No runs! My only qualm with them is that they are very size sensitive. But they run crazy sales, so it's easy to buy more!
I wanted to love these but unfortunately they were a disappointment for a couple of reasons: 1. They were incredible opaque. I think this is because I'm on the shorter side (5'3'') and they don't stretch out enough to be as transparent as they're meant to? This happened to another friend of mine who is 5'5''. 2. They're not very silky. My favorite pair are from Woolford and I much prefer their finish to these. Tbh, even a standard drug store pair has a better finish. The way I would describe them is almost like a standard cotton tee. While they didn't rip, these two factors are dealbreakers for me personally. Unless you're very tall or want a fully opaque pair, I wouldn't recommend. And don't buy them full price! They go on sale fairly often
i will not buy any other tights or knee-highs!! I wear these all the time, wash them in the machine in a bag, and wear them some more. Tons of wears, and not a single snag. Truly revolutionary for my wardrobe. I used to shy away from wearing skirts because having a decent pair of tights around was iffy AND if I did, I would always question if the wearing occasion was worthy of the tights! Now I just put em on and do my day. Very good.
These are amazing tights. Definitely expensive, but the brand frequently has sales, and they do NOT rip. Before trying these tights, I was replacing tights every 1-2 wears because they would constantly get snagged or start running, but these have lasted me several years and are still going strong. They're a little more stiff/thick feeling than your normal tights, but that doesn't really bother me personally. Absolutely worth the money for how much I've saved on constantly replacing my tights.
Bought these for my wife and they lasted for a looooong time. They did however develop “stripes” over time, but no holes.
The best tights I’ve ever owned! Extremely durable and live up to the hype.
