Sheertex earns strong reviews for delivering unusually durable, snag‑resistant tights that often outlast traditional pairs by months or years, with many noting they truly resist runs and even pet claws. However, reviews also flag fit inconsistencies (especially inseam/height issues), a stiffer, less‑silky hand feel, rolling waistbands or visible shaping seams, and occasional early snags or holes that undermine the “indestructible” promise.

Overall, I like my Sheertex stockings. I only ever purchase them when they're on sale because they're pretty pricey. Just as advertised, they really don't ever rip! I've had my pairs for 2-3 years now, and they're still going strong! My one issue with the tights is that they arrive with weird pulls already. I wrote to customer service and they said you have to pull them for the runs to come out. But it seems like they're always there. Not the best. Also, their sizes run slightly smaller than average.

I highly recommend Sheertex. I wear nail extensions regularly and tear through almost every pair of sheer tights I attempt to put on (I've tried Calzedonia, H&M, generic Walgreens, Nordstrom brands, etc.). This is the first pair of tights that I've been able to wear more than once in YEARS. They obviously are on the pricier side and after about 10+ wears, they start to show some wear (not true runs but small spots where the fabric is gathering) however they are still so worth it for the value.

I have several pairs of Sheertex that I have owned for multiple years now, which have held up almost perfectly. None have ripped but some have small snags which is to be expected for the number of times I’ve worn and washed them. They are a great staple for office jobs with a business dress code, and make getting ready in the morning much easier. Not to mention the waistband makes them the most comfortable tights I’ve owned with no digging at all. I purchased these when they used to be more expensive so I think the new pricing is a pretty good deal, especially if you wear tights regularly!

Let's be honest: for most of my life, I treated tights as disposable. I'd buy a pair for an event, hold my breath the entire night hoping not to snag them, and inevitably end up with a rip by the end of the evening. It was a frustrating, wasteful cycle. Then I found Sheertex via a friend rec, and it completely changed the game. To put it simply, these are, in my opinion, the highest quality and most durable tights you can possibly buy. What's truly impressive is that they achieve this incredible durability without sacrificing aesthetics. They are still beautifully sheer, comfortable, and look just as elegant as any luxury hosiery. You aren't trading style for strength. Yes, the initial price is higher than your standard department store pair, but it's a classic "you get what you pay for" scenario. When I think about how much money I've wasted on cheap tights that last for a single wear, my Sheertex have already paid for themselves multiple times over. This isn't just another pair of tights; it's a reliable piece of my wardrobe. If you're tired of the endless cycle of buying and trashing hosiery, investing in a pair of Sheertex is one of the smartest fashion decisions you can make.

They used to be amazing, you could honestly manhandle the tights and they wouldn’t get a pick. It appears they’ve changed up the mix because they’re no longer this durable. I wear my old ones frequently but for the price, I don’t think I’ll repurchase until I hear differently/they’ve improved

The best support tights I have ever purchased. I loved these so much received so many compliments, I purchased 4 more. I will not buy from anyone else. The feel and the comfort, does not make you feel like your being squeezed. A great fit and look!!

I was bombarded with Instagram ads for Sheertex forever: “Pantyhoses that do not break?!" First I thought that can’t be true, and second, $99* is a lot of money.” Me 2 years after purchase: These tights are incredible, and they still feel like new (Sheertex claims that they can last up to 50 wears). For those who don’t understand the breakthrough: a thin pair of tights usually break after 1-2 wears. With Sheertex you actually end up saving money AND eliminating at least 10-15 pairs of waste. So what are they made of? A strong fiber which until now only had been used in ballistic products, like bulletproof vests. The material is self-healing, meaning that in case you do get a snag, you can in most cases stretch and manipulate the fabric back to shape. Y Combinator backed Sheertex was named one of TIME Magazines 50 Best in Inventions in 2018, and rightfully so. So cool, and so needed. 🙏 * I think Sheertex has decreased their pricing since my first purchase. I know this because I have bought them as gifts to multiple friends since :)

The price point, but as said already, they clearly are working on it, and ultimately, the price per wear is a lot less than normal pantyhoses. I also think Sheertex should work on their international shipping, I know multiple friends in Europe that have asked me to send Sheertex. 🌎

I ordered the Classic Sheer Rip-Resist Tights, and was really disappointed to have them get a hole on my knee within the first time wearing them. I do want to give a shout out that customer service was very responsive and is replacing them at no cost (and offered to change shipping address & size if needed). Ignoring that, I like that there's a really thick band on top, to avoid the pinching that comes with other tights.

I recently tried Sheertex tights, and overall, I was quite impressed! The durability is a game changer; I’ve worn them multiple times without any snags or runs, which is a rarity for tights. The material feels luxurious, and they fit snugly without being constrictive. I appreciate the variety of sizes and colors available, making it easy to find the perfect pair for any outfit. The only downside I encountered was the price point, which is higher than typical tights. However, given their longevity, I believe they’re a worthwhile investment. If you’re looking for tights that combine style and strength, Sheertex is definitely worth considering. I’d give them a solid four stars!

I bought a pair on sale directly from their site about 2 years ago and have worn them several times - They absolutely deliver on their promise! The price is undoubtedly high for the product category, but anyone who wears tights often knows that in the end it is worth it. I live in a climate where fall, winter and spring are times that sometimes call for tights, so this is a must have!

I got a pair of Sheertex out of desperation since I'm constantly ripping my drugstore tights after only one or two wears. I like these! They do get runs easily and after a few wears mine got tiny holes, but they lasted longer than any other pair of tights I've ever had. For the price, I think they're worth the purchase.

Don't think that these tights are invincible. They can definitely get runs and holes.

Bought the tights and wore them a handful of times, probably 3 times and they are already ripped and created a number of runs. For something that lasts as much as the drugstore ones, I would not buy them again.

I ordered my tights 5/21 and have worn them three times. Now I noticed that they have long snags and a tiny hole. How can this happen if they should be unbreakable? Company said I am not having my money back since they have only 30 days guarantee. In addition the company removes the comments which are negative from their FB feed and hides the ones on home page (you can only see the five star ones). I have left various negative comments about tights and all of them gone. I tried the technique to fix the snags they advised, but it does not work. Also, naturally, it does not solve the problem with the hole. The company is a scam, I'm very disappointed.

I really wanted to love sheertex, but unfortunately they ripped about as early as usual normal tights do. I love the idea of these, but they just aren’t as good as they are marketed out to be - bummed

Gave as a gift. Did eventually rip but lasted longer than generic brand

I'll start by admitting I loathe stockings and tights. But - sometimes you need to wear them! My biggest complaint was around the disposability of stockings - I typically only got 1 maaaybe 3 uses out of a pair of sheer black stockings or thigh-highs before a significant run would ruin them and into the trash they went. My pair of Sheertex lasted YEARS! I wore, hand-washed and stored one pair of classic Sheertex stockings for 2.5 years and only now have to replace them after my cat got involved and sat on my lap. Well worth the price tag, IMO. I will be replacing my classic pair as well as picking up some thigh-highs.

Worth Every Penny – Finally, Tights That Last! Very high quality & sturdy material. I was skeptical at first, but Sheertex tights absolutely live up to the hype. These are hands down the most durable tights I've ever owned. I’ve worn them multiple times, and they’ve held up perfectly—no snags, no tears, and they still look brand new! The fit is comfortable, and they don’t roll down or dig in like other tights. Plus, they feel lightweight yet incredibly strong. I also love the eco-conscious packaging and thoughtful design—it’s clear they put a lot of care into their product. If you’re tired of constantly replacing tights, Sheertex is worth the investment. I’ll never go back to regular tights again!
Sheertex makes great tights. What I like the most about them is how long they are. One of my biggest issues with tights is that I sometimes only get to wear them once or twice before they rip or get runs in them but not with Sheertex. These hold up well to numerous wears and washes. Sheertex also has a wide range of sizes from XS to 3X, which is great that they cater to customers of all sizes. The only downside is the price. I understand I'm paying for the quality and durability but an average of $59 a pair is a little steep.
