Rare Beauty wins strong reviews for high‑performing, highly pigmented staples—especially the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, bronzer sticks, highlighters, and a lightweight, breathable foundation that blends easily and flatters many tones—so yes, the brand works. Reviewers praise long wear, blendability, accessible packaging, and inclusive shades, while noting drawbacks like overly intense blush that’s tricky for beginners, occasional fading or clumping, shade undertone mismatches for very fair or cool skin, and some leaking or fragile packaging and short‑lived fragrances.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
good product, blush is great but the packaging leaks a bit which ends in a lot of wasted product considering how little you need for each use. The product gathers and pools around the rim. Otherwise, great blush. Eyeliner brush was great but dried way faster than my other eyeliners
I have only tested the liquid blush in tint bliss but his incredible : he’s SUPER pigmented but also super natural The only negative point I see is that it’s dry quickly and it’s not super easy to blend it…
I love the blush and the lip oil, both of which last me all day with just one application. I'm such a fan.
I've tried a few liquid blushes in the past and they did not work for me but I love the rare beauty liquid blush! It is so easy to apply, blend and has good staying power.
I'm not a big or very experienced makeup wearer, but that said, the products I've tried have been easy to use and effective. The color range for lip/eye/cheek products skew mostly pink, from natural to higher impact. The brand is very approachable and reasonably priced.
I love the mascara. It elongates without clumping which is great. It feels light, and I haven’t had any trouble getting it off with makeup wipes. It lasts most of the day.
I have a liquid lipstick from here, and I swear it’s the best of its kind.
Have loved all of the products I've tried from this brand. I most recently have been using the concealer and really love the shade match - especially for darker skinned people. The products are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way (especially with the liquid blush / highlighters). The lipliner in Strong has become a daily staple as well as their liquid liner pen - I love eyeliners in this form so will be buying again.
I’ve tried a variety of different products from Rare Beauty and can’t think of a single one that I’ve disliked! They are great quality, great price, and have great pigmentation! I also love that most of the products are liquid or cream based which makes blending them super easy!

With most of the products, be aware that a little product goes a long way!
my favorite blushes are from rare beauty! they’re pigmented, long lasting, blend well, and there are beautiful shade options. the caps on the bottles make them super easy to open too.
The liquid eyeliner is the best I have ever used, hands down. Clean application. Sharp brush tip for details. fades naturally, not flakey. Last pretty well but also removes easily. Packaging is very cute.
I have tried Soft Punch Liquid Blush, Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation, and Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer. I do not often wear full face makeup, but when I do it has to look natural to my skin tone (very fair, neutral), it has to be breathable (the less I can feel it the better), it has to transfer to clothing *very little*, and it has to be cruelty free. There are also certain ingredients I have to avoid because of rosacea and eczema flares. I tried the Liquid Blush as a sample and was absolutely blown away by how lightweight it was, how richly pigmented it was in both light and dark shades [read: you don't gotta use much to achieve your look], and how well it fixed to my foundation to avoid transfer. I have also tried this Blush on bare skin, and it does not accentuate enlarged pores. Simply beautiful. Zero rosacea flares or breakouts. I bought it in a few shades and tend to ignore my powder blushes now. Next I tried the Concealer. Again, it was remarkably lightweight and richly pigmented, so I use very little. As a "neutral" toned person, I am lucky to be able to fit into many brands' fairest color bracket whether advertised as "cool" or "warm" (though I am often left out, with shades that are simply toned too dark). In Rare Beauty, I wear 130N (same as my foundation) and will use a highlighter to brighten what's needed. This is my go-to Concealer now. The Foundation is, again, lightweight and richly pigmented. This appears to be a pattern across the brand, though I haven't tested anything else to confirm. While this isn't my go-to foundation, it IS my backup and is what I'll use if I'm leaning oily/overheated.

I am a sucker for non-tacky balms and glosses. I've haven't taken the leap yet with Rare Beauty because of the lack of colors on the "pale gal" end of the spectrum. On the models, all the colors look beautiful but super, super dark. While I'm not opposed to wearing a dark lip, it's definitely not a daily lip color for me. Lipwear is literally the only makeup that I do wear every day, so I'm super picky.
Always an Optimist Illuminating Primer has become a holy grail. I love the formula and how clean the ingredients are. Never clogs my pores and gives me a perfect glowy base for my makeup. I can’t wait to try other products from this brand.
Picked up the Rare Beauty Liquid Luminizer in REFLECT. Perfect for darker skin tones and very blendable and buildable. Works great layered on top of blush
Love everything about this brand. The formulation, packaging, easy application and the wide range or colors. I am in love with the blush and use it every single day. I have sensitive skin and this does not break me out at all.
Rare Beauty has an amazing volumizing mascara that still makes sure that my lashes look relatively natural. It also doesn't smudge too much (and I'm pretty bad at applying mascara and fall victim to smudging all the time) and the packaging is so cute!
Okay, let me just say, I’m obsessed with Rare Beauty! The lip products? Chef’s kiss – they’re smooth, long-lasting, and the shades are so gorgeous I could cry. But the real magic happens with the blushes. They are crazy pigmented, like a little dab and boom you’ve got a whole glow going on. The best part? These products last forever because, honestly, a tiny bit of these super-pigmented wonders goes such a long way.
Love the products and messaging behind the brand. Will keep buying!!

I ordered the liquid blush, foundation and lip stick. All worked beautifully. I also ordered the bronzer stick, now this is fantastic it melts into the skin perfectly.
Really good quality and lasts forever
