I thought it was a pretty good phone case with a truly great sustainable focused mission to boot. Plus the customer service was excellent. I did however, notice the case wasn't a perfect fit when I first received it and then it quickly started to warp with use.

Good protection, cute styles, great sustainability. Price point is a bit high and they can get quite dirty. I would purchase again.

Pela has great environmental ethics; I ordered the wrong product once and instead of the cost and emissions of shipping back, they said to keep it and gift to a friend. I've been using their cases for years, and they're cute and ethical! I've dropped my phone a bit and it hasn't cracked!

I have been purchasing Pela cases for a few years now and I absolutely love the products. They are sturdy and always protect my phone from the regular dropping.

I am on my third case! Cannot wait to try composting it. Love that it is NOT plastic. Holds up well and protects, too.

Have been using Pela iphone and airpods cases for the past two years and I can only imagine how much damage my phone might have had if it hadn't been protected by Pela. The cases are fit really well, feel good in your hands, and look beautiful. The sustainability here is just the cherry on top.

Love the mission behind the company but the cases did not last. Mine ripped after less than a year.

Super durable and love the give-back mission attached to a lot of the designs, plus the (no-brainer!) closed loop for items like phone cases that usually end up in the trash or are unrecyclable.

Not to be confused with Peel phone cases. Love everything about these.

I love the mission behind Pela and the way these cases are made, but unfortunately the execution was really lacking for me. I got the black slim XS case and don't like the tactile feel of these cases overall. They feel a bit gritty and they don't stay gripped on to the phone that well over time as the material stretches. I generally have preferred cases that snap on, so this just doesn't do it for me.

Pela has grown a lot since I bought by first iphone case from them years ago. Since then I have returned to purchase various compostable cases. Their innovative design and commitment to eco-conscious business is nice. I always try to support B Corps and 1% for the Planet business members because the criteria is tough and I can trust they aren't totally greenwashed. Their recycling program is great too.

I love my pela cases and have used them for the last 6 years. I got my whole family using them and we love that they help the earth. The only disappointments I have run into with the brand are that they often don't have as many options for my phone (google pixel) as they do for the iPhones. I was also got 2 of their airpods cases and the hook for the carabiner broke on both of them. That being said I would definitely get more phone cases!

Good cases that hold up over time

I am a person who drops things a lot (see Hydroflask review) and this case has saved my phone so many times. The phone case itself is smooth and soft to the touch and it's design helps reduce fall impact. The material is also suitable for phone wallets or other gadgets that you might attach to the back of your phone. I also love that it is a more compact case that can easily fit into your pocket or bag.

I love Pela’s mission! I’ve bought 3 phone cases and one airpod case from them. I love the feel of their cases and they have protected my phone well over the years. I have shipped back old cases for them to properly recycle and their phone case prints are all so cute
