As someone with very dry, curly hair, my curls have always responded very well to the olaplex line! The science behind the products is something I can really respect as a consumer. I find this brand to be my splurge when I go to Sephora. The look and feel of the products feels luxury. Overall, I really love this line and would recommend it to someone who is looking to splurge a bit on their hair routine.

Enjoy using the shampoo and conditioner

I loved Olaplex, I used it religiously- #3 #6 purple shampoo. However- as a double processed platinum blonde I soon found out that using this product could be at the detriment of my hair. After three years, my hair rapidly and over night began to break all around my crown and face. My new hair stylist said it was from too much protein in my hair follicles from over use of Olaplex. It softened my follicles causing them to break. I’ve since taken a break from using the product and my hair is now on a journey back to being healthy. My hair dresser said I can get to a point where I’ll be able to use any protein rich product again, but this time I’ll probably use it few and far in between instead of by the direction.

Love no. 3 product, it has revived my hair in a way no other product has.

I love the No. 3 hair perfector for maintaining my hair between cuts. The No. 6 can be a little heavy for my hair as a leave-in conditioner, but the No. 7 is a great lightweight finishing oil. Olaplex is my go-to when I need a hair pick me up :)

I really like the 2 step you out in color services, or perms. I’m not a fan of any other. I use it when I was doing a color correction.

I love the purple shampoo! I don't feel that the treatment does anything special for my hair, but maybe that is a user error. I have yet to buy the oil, but when my hairdresser uses it I love the smell.

Amazing for bleached hair. The reason I can keep my hair blonde and strong. Products last surprisingly long because you don't need to use much.

Last year I decided to go blonde in one session and my poor hair was shedding like no other. The use of Olaplex was a lifesaver for not only saving my color but the integrity of my hair too! I experienced less fallout and breakage after a few treatments and strictly Olaplex products.

Olaplex #3 hair perfecter gets 5 stars from me. Not tried any of their other products. Makes me look like I've just been to the salon! My curls are bouncier, there's less frizz and more shine. Update: Have started using the #5 conditioner too and it's brilliant. I use it to condition AND as a leave in conditioner too, which keeps my hair smooth and shiny without weight or residue. The conditioner is now in permanent rotation too and I don't need a separate leave in anymore.

I’ve used multiple Olaplex products, from the shampoo and conditioner to the serums. I like how the shampoo lathers and the products smell good but they leave my hair feeling either really dry or really greasy.

Olaplex makes good products but they are expensive. The bottles are very small so you go through them more often than other brands that sell larger bottles. Their products do work well for my curly hair that often gets frizzy. I also like the purple shampoo and conditioner which helps me maintain my blonde highlights and keeps them from looking brassy.

Unfortunately this is one product I had to remove from my routine. I have fine hair and all the products tended to weight it down and make my hair feel and look greasy within a day. I know some people are tried and true fans, however for my hair it just didn't work out.

This made my hair feel like straw. It wasn’t not nourishing or hydrating at all and also made my hair look very greasy.

Have been using olaplex for around 3 years. Works so well with my hair type and my hair never feels as clean as it does with the olaplex shampoo.

Used #5 which is amazing! I have curly, balayaged hair and didn’t realize just what a difference it makes to use the right moisterizer. My hair became so springy and soft afterwards and people actually asked me if I had a new cut.

good but over priced

My curly hair has been an ongoing project my entire life (I think that is the case for most of us with curly hair). I was excited to try Olaplex based on rave reviews everywhere, but it was very underwhelming for me and my hair. The formulas are thick, which feels nice and consciously tells you the small bottles will last longer, but yet it doesn't really. My main complaint is the price. It is SO EXPENSIVE for not that much product. Customer service when ordering is amazing!
