Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—many users report it eases headaches, cramps, altitude fatigue, long workouts, travel dehydration, and hangovers—yet the brand draws consistent criticism for overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors and high sugar content. Reviews also praise the convenient single-serve packets, broad flavor range (notably Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon), and quick dissolving, while noting misses in some flavors, occasional graininess, and concerns about “bad” ingredients, sodium, and a few reports of gluten issues.

A friend who is a park ranger told me about this product. So glad they did! I am always in the edge of dehydration and this product is a lifesaver. The tart, slightly salty flavor is delicious. Mixes easily. A treat I look forward to,

Used this during a wicked flu ! Really helpful to keep me hydrated during the purge lol Definitely will be keeping on hand for more regular basis. Flavor is nice , not too sweet. Definitely a life saver! Can't wait to try other flavors!!

I’ve noticed myself drink three times as much water than usual. This has made a huge change with my skin and overall health. I recently tried the tangerine flavor with immune support. This has become a winter staple in my house.

I am a fan of the Liquid IV Strawberry. I like that these come in prepackaged individual packets for ease of tossing in my work bag and taking on the go. I have tried some of the other flavors as well, but strawberry has been my favorite so far.

I have a chronic illness that makes hydration hard. I have tried many different electrolyte brands and Liquid I.V has so far won my #1 spot. I like the lemon lime and strawberry lemonade in particular, not overly sour or salty like some other brands. Plus, it helps my symptoms way more than others I have tried. Recommend for sure!

Quite frankly, I do not get the hype on Liquid IV. Im the kind of person who doesn't like the taste of regular water, but Id prefer regular water over this. It's incredibly sweet and tastes like chemicals, there's no positive things for me. I also believe the price is just insane comparing what you pay for to what you get.

Liquid I.V. Adult and kids is a quick electrolyte powder pack to be dissolved in water. It does contain stevia a silicone dioxide, if you’re concerned about either one. Otherwise it works fast and we use it when practicing for marathons.

I wish Liquid IV didn't use stevia/low-calorie sweetners. As someone who avoids those kind of ingredients it saddens me that I can no longer consume this product. The sticks are small and easy to transport for on-the-go hydration. If the ingredients were different this would be my go-to brand.

Have been using these for years. They are great to keep in a workout bag or a backpack for long hikes. Because it is in a dry pack, it's easier than taking along a bottle of Gatorade or something. Please, please, please read the label though and only drink the recommended amount, as too much or too frequently can be hazardous.

I'm kind of indifferent about LiquidIV, I find it a bit pricy compared to other options, and while I don't really know the efficacy compared to others, my struggle with LiquidIV is the intensity of the sweetness. I can barely finish a packet in a huge glass of water so I often only have half a packet, or I have to drink two giant cups of water (I guess this isnt the worst thing lol) Flavours are nice, I like the Golden Cherry and Passionfruit and we only ever buy them in the big bag from Costco (In canada) or out and about on vacation.

LiquidIV is still my favorite endurance electrolyte supplement if I know I'm going to be in the heat, whether I'm cycling or hiking. 1 packet is enough for my two-liter hydration bladder, and I still prefer it over the other competitors in this space. My only complaint is that I wish they offered a lower-sugar option. The flavors are great, and I LOVE how potent the singular packets are. I absolutely recommend that you dilute it in a larger volume of water.

I like Liquid IV's taste and flavors, but the cost is pretty ridiculous in my opinion, especially compared to a lot of other brands. Salt as electrolytes seems like one of the bigger marketing miracles (schemes?) of the 2020s. I like that they've come out with no or low sugar options. I still pick Liquid IV up for travel on occasion, but I think you can find better value in other brands.

I like Liquid IV for it's convenience but I will admit there is quite a lot of sugar in the regular ones. I've also tried the sugar-free but I am sensitive to the taste of artificial sweeteners so the aftertaste is a bit off-putting. I wish they made a lower sugar one! These are great to replenish electrolytes from a long day hiking or walking around in the sun at a concert or festival. I think there are much better options out there, but Liquid IV is one of the most available brands sold everywhere now, so it's more accessible compared to some of my other favorites like Waterboy.

I have two teenagers who are very active and I was excited for them to try Liquid I.V. Unfortunately, neither my son nor daughter liked the taste. When I tried the various flavors, I had to agree with them. No matter the flavor, all I could taste was sodium. When I looked at the ingredients, I was shocked to see just how much sodium was in just one packet. Shame on me for not checking it first.

I've gotten some packs from Costco and have yet to find a flavor I like. These are really sweet, even the sugar free ones and they are also on the pricier side. I prefer other brands like Waterboy or even Quince.

This is a pretty good hydration product. A bit too much sweetness and flavor for my taste. But it’s good if you have a big jug of water. I like the lemon lime flavor the best! It dissolves almost clear which I prefer!

I think I drink this nearly every day. In my cabinet I have my coffee, tea, and Liquid IV. I really enjoy all of the flavors I've tried, and most of the time I feel I only need to use half of a stick to extend my usage. My favorite flavor is the pina colada, it is so spot on. Also regularly buying Tropical Punch and Strawberry Lemonade.

Liquid IV is my go-to electrolyte powder, although some flavors are better than others. The powder mixes easily, and the single-serve packets are so convenient for travel. The popsicle flavor is my absolute favorite, but I can only seem to find it during the summer. The white peach has a somewhat fake flavor, but I like that there's a sugar-free option.

Liquid I.V. is a pretty good product, especially for hangovers or if you're just dehydrated. The single serving premixed formula makes it easy to take on the go or stash in your purse. It dissolves well in room temperature water, not quite as well in cold water but it works. I tried the lemon flavor and although it wasn't the greatest, the results outweigh that; plus it comes in a lot of flavors now. i do recommend this.
