Packaging and branding are top-notch. I will say I can't unscrew the head to replace the filter but won't have to anyway for a while... No noticeable effect from showering with this versus normal showerhead and they do make some bold claims but hey, can't hurt. Would not have bought without the discount.

I really wanted to love this! Setting up was pretty easy, however, it turned my pretty great water pressure into a barely-there drizzle. As much as I wanted to give this a shot for my hair and skin, my boyfriend insisted we switch back to our old shower head and return to normal water pressure.

First of all, it looks great and was so easy to install - love that they included a wrench and also made the instructions concise. How does it work? So far, so good. My hair is softer - more like when I wash it in softened water. Is it a hugely dramatic change? No - or at least not yet - but it IS a change, and I'm very happy with that. When you do feel that change, it makes you wonder what the unfiltered water must have been doing to your skin. So, I'm happy to have this - can't believe how long I was using hard water!

This water filter is so minimalist and nice looking. A lot of the water filters out there are pretty large, but this one adds a sleek look to the shower. I honestly am waiting until I re-locate to actually install it, but I'm very excited to see how it helps!

Extremely easy to install, very user friendly packaging and instructions, and I love how it looks. Haven’t used it long enough to know if it’s made a difference with my hair and skin but overall very happy I snagged one on the thingdrop super discount!

I wanted to wait a bit before leaving a review to really see if there was a difference. I do think I'm seeing a bit of a difference in my hair and skin - when staying at my parents' last week, I definitely could tell my showers weren't doing as well as my Jolie showers at home. Knocking off a star for the cost - I bought one with the thingdrop discount, and I'm likely to continue subscribing to the filters, but $33/quarter is still a bit hefty. I'm on the fence for "worth the money," but it's definitely nice. Installation was super smooth and I love that they made it clear that I could do it myself, no assistance needed.

This shower head is great, it's nice and big and is almost like a rain shower. The filtration system has made my hair silky smooth and looks great. I live in the northeast and we have water that has a lot of iron in it. I used to have iron deposits all over my shower/tub after a few days of cleaning and now it take a couple of weeks.

I received a different filtered showerhead for Christmas but didn't end up using it more than one time because it jutted out too far and didn't match the rest of the hardware in my shower. When I found out Jolie was having a ThingDrop, I made sure to set an alarm- my first ever time participating in a ThingDrop! I was lucky enough to score a black one which matches the rest of my bathroom perfectly. It is also quite compact and didn't give me the same issues as the previous one did as far as it jutting out. Install was quick and painless, even for someone that doesn't typically consider themselves "handy". I thought the included wrench was a nice touch- and so cute! I already have softened water but I do feel that my hair and skin is softer since starting to use this showerhead. Additionally, the water pressure is really nice. I much prefer this showerhead to any of the other brand name showerheads I've used in the past. In the future, it would be cool to see adjustable settings or even a showerhead with a hand hose attachment.

Major upgrade to my bathroom. Feels like I got a completely new shower. Very luxurious and worth the price tag.

My roommate got one of these, and at first I didn’t really see what the fuss about. I mean it’s $160!! Super expensive to me, but when she got it I could tell instantly tell the difference. It felt like I was showering in drinking purified water. My hair got shinier, not sure if I could get myself to buy it but definitely would pitch in, because it is that good!!

There is definitely a difference between the Jolie filtered shower head and my previous standard shower head. When you're in the shower, the water itself feels softer to the touch somehow. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin at all, but my hair is softer and stays cleaner an extra day or two. I have always had problem skin so I wasn't expecting a shower head to heal it anyway. The shower head looks great, but it's quite big so if your shower arm is set lower on the wall this takes up a lot of space and tall people will have to crouch a bit. The box came with an extra water valve for certain states, plumbers tape and a cute little wrench. Installation was super easy, however mine does leak where the head screws onto the arm, even after using the tape and the wrench to tighten it as much as possible. I live in CA where we have water usage limitations, so I had to switch out the valve so that it uses less GPM. The water pressure is definitely way lower than my previous shower head that was also state-compliant, so that's a little annoying as it does take longer to get my hair fully wet and rinsed, and I feel like I end up using the same amount of water, or more. But, I am used to it now so it doesn't bother me as much. Just something to consider if you prefer more pressure.

I purchased this as a thingdrop and am so grateful I did! Unboxing it was amazing - even came with tools and the plumber's tape - what a lovely touch! From unboxing to installing, the instructions made it truly easy. I truly love how it felt like a well through out process and set me up for success! It also looks so smart and works great, I have noticed that my skin is less dry and I take quicker showers, while I don't know if it's related, but I did want to note it! I also have noticed it's easier to keep my shower walls cleaner by using Jolie - maybe it's because of the filter helping, either way - win!

First and foremost, the packaging and aesthetics are top notch. Beautifully crafted, substantial and thoughtfully designed are all things that come to my mind when describing the Jolie. Installation was an absolute breeze - took less than 2 minutes and the custom wrench that came with the Jolie was a great touch - beautiful little tool. We have been using the Jolie for nearly two weeks now - so I do think it’s too early to actually comment on the efficacy of the filtration but so far the flow, pattern of water and overall use has been great!

Wasn't really sure what to expect with a new shower head but I was pleasantly surprised. Great water pressure but will have to wait and see if the filtration system actually works, it's only been a week. Overall I really like it and installation was super easy.

ooooh I looove this! I contemplated getting the shower head for a while but read so many mixed reviews and talked myself out of it. Also thought it was super expensive. Enter thingtesting! I was so excited to see this deal and jumped on it. The results after a week of showers and 3 hair washes: yes! It’s as good as you think. My skin is so soft. And my hair!! For one, it’s somehow blonder? I get highlights but it’s been a few months. Immediately after the first shower, both my husband and I noticed it looked lighter. Probably just not as brassy. And the hair itself is so soft. Conclusion: this is why I love thingtesting. For offering the product at a major discount (with a charitable donation, mind you!), Jolie got itself a forever filter subscriber and someone who will rave about it to anyone who will listen.

Unboxing and installation went well. I live alone and had no issues figuring out how to remove my old shower head and replace it with the Jolie shower head! Water pressure was improved from what I had, and I have no complaints so far. It's been about two weeks and I haven't noticed a difference in my skin or hair yet, but I'm going to give it the full three months and see how I feel. Edit: It's been more than three months and I don't feel like the filter made a difference in my hair or skin. It could be that my water is just extremely hard.

Super easy to install, improved our water pressure even! I can smell less chlorine and feel a noticeable difference in my skin. My hair color also is fading less quickly!

I have been using this for about three months, and I haven't noticed any significant changes in my hair, but I heard it comes with time. I don't mind having it in the shower and it makes me feel good when using it. But I am not looking forward to replacing the filter soon.
