• Intuitive, finger‑friendly formulas
• Natural, flattering shades
• Lightweight, comfortable textures
• Iconic, compliment‑magnet fragrance
• Sheer, low‑coverage base
• Inconsistent scent longevity
• Fragile, leaky packaging
• Limited, uneven shade range

Glossier delivers effortless, natural-looking makeup that many reviews praise—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, and the “You” fragrance—while frequent critiques cite sheer coverage, short wear, and hit‑or‑miss skincare. Reviews of Glossier highlight intuitive, finger-friendly textures, flattering shades, iconic scent, and chic design, but also note reformulations (You and Balm Dotcom), packaging breaks/leaks, limited shade range, and products that feel lightweight to the point of barely there.

• It's a real mixed bag with glossier, I remember when they first started out and it was very disruptive. There are definitely some products that are solid: balm dotcom, YOU perfume, boy brow. But now with all these skus the mediocrity has set in and I'm not as impressed anymore. Ultimately, it feels like a marketing company that happens to make beauty and skincare. I'd recommend going in store and feeling things for yourself before buying online. They'll be in Sephora soon so you can try before you buy! Ultimately, I think the glossier girly is a bit of a relic of the past now. Their customer service is fantastic though!

please no more pink plastic bags!!

• Highly recommend this product, especially their no-make-up-there makeup products. Easy to throw in your bag and apply on the go. I also love the perfume!

• I have tested Glossier and think it's no better than any other drug store or sephore/ulta products. Nothing is stand out to me that I would die for

It is inconvenient that isn't sold at a common store and instead has its own stores or have to purchase from its website. Their products are also limited sometimes.

• enjoyed their brand idea & original mission from when the company first started i also liked their marketing campaign "boys like glossier too," which was a novel marketing idea at the time. i understand that brands/companies grow and change, and that glossier really started a surge of "minimal makeup/no-makeup makeup" companies, but it has really strayed from what i liked about the company when it first started i originally liked how they would crowd-source ideas for upcoming launches from the Into the Gloss community. although the crowd-sourced ideas might have been just a marketing ploy, it did feel like the community had some say over what products would come next and what the products would be like. the core products that the brand started with were honestly very good, and so were the subsequent products with crowd-sourced ideas. however, once they stopped the crowd-sourcing and expanded into more makeup, the quality & efficacy of the new products really left much to be desired. also honestly the whole packaging aesthetic was really just ripped off of k beauty

bring back crowdsourcing sustainability of packaging efficacy of actual products

• I like the idea and positioning of the brand (i.e.,no makeup makeup) but not overly impressed with any product (or their formulas or ingredients) I’ve tried.

• I have been a Glossier stan for a long time. Recently some of the releases have been a miss for me, but I stand by some old favorites like the concealer, skin tint, gen G lipstick, boy brow and mascara.

Feedback

New releases should focus on more makeup innovation and less merch/limited editions.

• Loyal to their perfume and a few makeup items (balm dot com, blush, highlighter). Some of their skincare products just don't work for me and aren't the "cleanest" ingredient wise if you're worried about that, but for the products I do use, I use them everyday and am always repurchasing.

• I've tried a ton of Glossier products. Overall I think they're nice! My brow gel lasted me a while, and the milky jelly cleanser definitely saved my skin. It's inclusive in branding and simple in message. Price points are fairly high though for very small sized products.

Don't send me a poster and a fancy box when I make an order. Branding is important, but sustainability is more important, and I definitely don't need a folded up poster of a retouched model's face.

• I've only tried a couple of Glossier products but the ones I've used have definitely been worth the money. Most notably, their "You" perfume is 100% worth the money. I have *never* received as many compliments on a perfume as I do when I wear You, even compared to my ridiculously expensive ones. Additionally, I love the packaging of Glossier's products & how they're shipped- their famous pink bubble wrap zippered bag along with the fun stickers.

• I’ve been using Glossier products for years now and have tried many more hits than misses. The makeup bag is the best makeup bag I have ever used and by far one of the most useful storage items I own. I have the You perfume in both the liquid spray and the solid compact and it has become my go-to everyday scent. In terms of makeup products, I love and will continue to repurchase the Cloud Paint, Balm Dot Com, Ultralip, & Boy Brow. The only products I’m not crazy about are the Lash Slick mascara & the Solar Paint cream bronzer.

• I love most of their products (moisturizer, face wash, etc.), but find their makeup to be overly subtle. Certain products feel like they barely do anything. Skincare is the way to go.

• Some products are a hit and miss. My favorites are the You perfume, boy brow, and generation g lipsticks. I use these products on a regular basis. Their complexion products are not my favorite. The skin tint has zero coverage. For someone who has oily skin, the cloud paint and stretch concealer just makes my skin looks horrible throughout the day.

• I’ve used various skin care products and I’ve never been very impressed. I prefer other brands that are more accessible.

Feedback

The hydrating mask felt like it dried out my skin and the face wash didn’t make my skin feel clean.

• Their balm dot com keeps my lips moisturized all day! I've tried their other skincare products like toner and cleanser and those weren't anything special; wouldn't repurchase them.

• I liked glossier but with recent controversies that came out, it’s hard to support. A lot of their products to me were meh, except the brow boy and perfume. I wish I could love this brand but glossier really doesn’t do it for me.

Support all your employees equally.

• I've tried the brow brush, The mascara, and a few skin care products. Overall I believe the products are high quality

• Love Glossier products and their stores are so much fun. I haven't tried much of their skincare, but I do like a lot of their makeup products.

Feedback

Product packaging, sometimes some makeup products leak or fall out due to poor packaging that they're in

• Good packaging and minimal aesthetics however the products were lacklustre From all things I tested I liked 2 in particular: - petroleum jelly cleanser [did not like the smell but the texture/feel of the product was great] - lip balm [heavy for the summer but good as a night balm, something for the drier months]

Feedback

The brand could be more eco-friendly, there is a good amount of wasteful packaging for it to just be aesthetic.

• I purchased the mask duo at their store in NYC and it was such a cool experience. They walk you through their products and guide you on how to use them.

• Over priced makeup. You're paying for an aesthetic. Definitely better products on the market for the same or lower price. I found that their makeup (I've tried the boy brow, cloud paint, and lidstar) looks cute right when you put it on but then it's gone in an hour or two.
