  • Fragile, leaky packaging

Glossier delivers effortless, natural-looking makeup that many reviews praise—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, and the “You” fragrance—while frequent critiques cite sheer coverage, short wear, and hit‑or‑miss skincare. Reviews of Glossier highlight intuitive, finger-friendly textures, flattering shades, iconic scent, and chic design, but also note reformulations (You and Balm Dotcom), packaging breaks/leaks, limited shade range, and products that feel lightweight to the point of barely there.

  • I have a few favorites, the exfoliating bar, boy brow, and eyebrow pen. The packaging is cute, but small amount of product for a high price. Some of the skin care items are too fragrant for me.

More skin tone shades!! It's 2022.

  • I like Glossier! Some great quality products for reasonable prices, and the packaging/brand/etc are fun. I like that it's a skin first brand. I love the cloud paint and the boy brow the most, I also have an exfoliant I like

  • The Boy Brow is one of the best eyebrow shapers I've ever used. I get the brown tinted pomade and it makes my brows look fuller and shapes them beautifully. I'm also a fan of the Milky Oil makeup remover as well. It doesn't dry out my skin and it works well.

I think it's a little overpriced for some of the skincare ingredients. There are better brands that are cheaper, but there are, without a doubt, a few of Glossier's makeup products that I love and use daily.

  • Doesn’t need much introduction. Everything from Glossier feels like an experience, from the packaging, the products, the stores, their content. I’ve tried and continue to use multiple products from Glossier, the Super Bounce serum is amazing under foundation, Futuredew is my hero product, the balm dot com in birthday comes everywhere with me, and the stretch concealer is great too, not too drying.

    Less wasteful packaging!

  • The product were so so. Nothing completely wowed me. I think Glossier has amazing packaging, brand identity, and marketing but the products aren't anything that hasn't been done before. The products work okay... it's just that you can't really build up coverage or color so the "no makeup makeup" is really isn't adjustable where as other makeup IS.

    Feedback

The products seem watered down and when applied, it doesn't last long or is barley noticeable. I understand that the concept of the brand is "no makeup makeup"... but I would rather use makeup that is "makeup makeup" but then just sheer it out myself so that I can get two looks in one product. I think there are Glossier fans who like the branding and would like to see the brand offer makeup that is also buildable for makeup fans who love to wear "makeup makeup".

  • I’ve tried a few Glossier makeup items. The eyeliner smudged on my under-eye, so I returned it. Their customer service is so quick and friendly. The Generation G lipsticks are tricky. They’re really dry your lips out, so you have to apply a thick coat of lip balm before applying. Don’t even attempt in the winter through; they’re just too drying. The Ultralips are more hydrating. Neither of these lip options last, which is fine since they don’t promise that. Love the Lid Paints. So easy to use and have that soft, pretty watercolor effect on the eyes. I always get compliments when I wear them, but they dry out so quickly. They phased out Glossier Play, but I bought some Color Slide eyeliners from that line. Usually, pencil eyeliners smear all over my under-eyes, but these have some restraint. Maybe I’ll have a little smudging at the end of the day, but they’re easy to wipe off.

Would be great if you could bring back some items from Glossier Play, like the Color Slide eyeliners.

  • When Glossier first launched I was really excited about Boy Brow, but over the years I've found other brands to be superior in quality. I like their Body Hero line, the lotion is not heavy on my skin. Their costumer service team is very proactive if you have shipping issues.

  • Overpriced for decent products that use same exact ingredients as drugstore brands. You're paying for a brand experience, not an innovative product.

  • I mean... boy brow forever. Consistently great products coming from the Glossier pipeline. And it's affordable!

  • Haven't tried many Glossier products, but Balm Dot Com is amazing!

    Feedback

The sizes of the products can be pretty inconsistent — brow boy, for example, looks like a sample/half the size of a normal product!

  • Tried their solution and cleanser. Both seem fine but didn't seem too different from other, more affordable options at the drug store.

  • I love all of their lip products - balm dotcom, generation g, and ultralip. I like how the website shows photos of the products on different skin tones. I always get compliments when I wear the perfume. Boy brow could be a great product for you, but only if you already have thick brows to begin with. The sunscreen is pretty good - it is clear so it doesn't leave a white cast on your skin after application. Also, as many people have complained about before, the skincare and foundation type products are for people who have great skin to begin with (very little to no coverage).

Honestly? I don't want to like Glossier. There are problems going on behind the scenes that make me want to stop supporting them, so I truly hope that they are actually making an effort to change.

  • I've used the solution toner, boy brow, balm.com, and skin tint, and I really like them all but not obsessed. I would try out more of their fun makeup products but probably won't use their skincare again since I just think there's better options out there.

    Feedback

I feel like the skin tint is only good on already clear skin as it has little to no coverage and can stick to dry skin. Love boy brow although it barely lasts me 2 months before drying out so I stopped buying it.

  • 3 years in and I'm like, "why can't I find another brand that's outpaced my love for Glossier yet?". Huge fan of the perfume and cloud paint.

  • Love Boy Brow. The spoolie is juuuuust small enough that it makes the product super easy to use. It also has pretty good staying power and won't budge once applied. The black color looks natural and gives the perfect "clean girl" brows. It is pricier than other drugstore alternatives, but the ease makes it worth it, imo.

  • Balm Dot Com is my favorite lip balm (unflavored), the updated tip makes it way easier to use. Their customer service is amazing as well.

  • I’ve tried two products from Glossier: Glossier you: a wearable, everyday scent that goes great with everything. I also love the bottle and how it was packaged. The scent feels unisex and slightly musky but fresh at the same time. Skin tint: great for days you want minimal coverage, and did not irritate my skin. The shade match was perfect for me, as someone with medium/olive skin. I found that this was also great for travel since it was preferable to not use a brush or sponge. My biggest qualm with this product is that the coverage is a too light, compared to other skin tints or CC creams I’ve used.

  • I love all the different lip balm flavors that this brand has to offer! Even though they are kind of pricey, I think it’s 100% worth it!!

  • I love the You perfume. It smells amazing, and stays potent on your body for a long time.
