Girlfriend Collective earns largely positive reviews for durable, size‑inclusive activewear with rich colors, supportive Paloma and Tommy bras, and long‑lasting OG/compressive leggings; many say the brand is good and pieces hold up for years. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, leggings that can run thick, slide down, or pill/lose shape over time, variable quality across lines, and some styles lacking breathability or support.

I remember getting my free pair when they were brand-spankin-new and was so thrilled that the leggings were A+ quality. I am OBSESSED with the classic skort - I need more colors and I would wear it every single day in the summer (and beyond, who am I kidding). I just want to see some more bike shorts with pockets ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Love the product and ethos of the brand. So cute and comfy, but sadly started to pill after 3 washes :(
I got a dress and I love it! Such quality material and form fitting. Would totally purchase again.
I pretty much live in activewear, and Girlfriend Collective is one of the brands I rarely reach for. I have a pair of leggings as well as one of their bra tops. Compared to standard activewear brands (ex. Nike), I think it runs about a half-size small for the pieces I have. The bra just had a weird fit all together, and was weirdly tight around the ribcage, which is a problem I don't have too often. They're definitely have a compression feel to them and are a thicker fabric, but it doesn't exactly feel like the type of performance fabric you get from Nike or Lululemon. I will say it does look good and it does seem to hold up well, but it's far from the most comfortable activewear I own. If sustainability is a main motivator, go for it.
I love the mission and the broad selection of different styles. Super size inclusive and high quality material. You're definitely investing in good activewear when you buy their stuff, it's not something you'll need to replace in a year which is really nice.
I ultimately found my Girlfriend Collective leggings really hard to get in and out of and not as comfortable as I was going for. I do love their mission, but have found cozier sustainable workout clothes elsewhere.
I got a pair of compression leggings in 2016. They are still my favorite leggings, I've never had a pair of leggings last this long without falling apart. Normally leggings tell you when they are done and you have to retire them, these never did. I love them and wish all of my leggings were GC. Highly recommend.
Products flimsy after few washes. Not comparable to Lulu or Alo. Price is reasonable and less expensive than Alo. They also do plus sizes.

Would not buy again.
I hate to say this, but I wasn't a fan of my Girlfriend Collective leggings. You can kinda tell that they're made of water bottles when wearing them- they aren't breathable and slide down. I could hardly do cardio in them let alone a leg workout. And despite being kind of thicker, my cellulite still showed through.
The tank top I have I really like, and I've washed it a lot of times with no pilling or threads. Love the idea of keeping things out of the landfill.

I was really disappointed in the sizing charts for sports bras. A big part of the brand's identity is around size inclusivity. Yet their bras are only sized via the bust measurement and no rib measurement. Meaning small bust/large ribs = gaping at top and large bust/small ribs = large enough to fit on the breast, too loose around the ribs.
I got my first pair of Girlfriend Collective leggings back when they did their promo of "just pay shipping" and the products have spoken for themselves ever since. The leggings fit my body well and after you wear them a few times, they conform to fit your body well. I love the bright colors and different styles. Their socks are also HIGHLY underrated. So cozy, cute and last long.

More higher support sports bras -- can't exactly run in low support sports bras with my bra size. It seems like things are very often out of stock.
I have a pair of the black high waisted leggings. The fabric is really nice, but I may have gotten the wrong sizing - it somehow feels both too tight on my thighs and too long past the ankles. I just don't find myself reaching for these when I have my Lululemon leggings clean.

Help with sizing or easier returns
Nice products and cut though it frees the nip sometimes
I have a very lovely set from the girlfriend collective. It wears beautifully and is very very durable. I've washed it very many times - and it still looks new and the color is bright
My FAVORITE workout clothes. I've slowly replaced all my leggings with girlfriend collective throughout the year. I love the way they feel on body.

The work out bras aren't perfect, but I have a larger chest so I haven't found a workout bra that is.

Love the brand's mission! Their sports bras and leggings are so buttery smooth.
I am one of the lucky gals who saw a girlfriend collective ad nearly a decade ago for a "free pair of leggings" (just paid shipping) and I STILL OWN that pair! The quality of the GC products are remarkable, and the size-inclusivity, eco-focus, and cost of the products compared to the market make it an easy purchasing decision. I've since bought bras, leggings, jackets, and accessories and I recommend GC all the time to friends.

love the mission and inclusivity in their marketing campaigns and sizing. while natural materials are always better than synthetic, their recycled synthetics are of incredible quality. I've had some of my girlfriend collective items since the launch of their brand, and they still hold up great. in addition to quality materials, the fit is also wildly comfortable and flattering.

Love the fit, material, color options, size inclusivity. I've had my black pair of leggings for ~5 years now, wear them all the time, and they're still in great shape!

None!
Girlfriend Collective is my go-to when searching for new sports bras and loungewear. Unfortunately I don't love their leggings, but I absolutely love their Paloma, Cleo, and Simone bras. I also have their windbreaker (and shorts), sweat set, and socks. The Girlfriend community is so loyal to the brand, and I can understand why! For the products that I love, I have them in multiple colors and always rec to friends.

The leggings are pretty compressive, more than my liking. It's nice to have leggings that don't fall down during an intense workout or run, but I don't reach for my one pair of Girlfriend leggings over my others.
