Reviews mention

  • Elegant, display-worthy packaging
  • Lightweight, fast-absorbing textures
  • Soothing, invigorating citrus scent
  • Noticeable ingrown reduction for some
  • Inconsistent ingrown-easing efficacy
  • Small, sometimes tricky packaging
  • Underwhelming shaving cream performance
  • Fragrance lacks sensitive option

Fur earns polarized reviews: many say the Fur Oil and Ingrown Concentrate genuinely reduce irritation and ingrowns when used consistently, with a lightweight, spa-like citrus scent and striking packaging, while others report little to no improvement and mixed results from Silk Scrub and shaving cream. Reviews highlight elegant design, long-lasting bottles, and soothing, non-greasy textures, but call out inconsistent efficacy, small sizes, slippery or break-prone packaging, and a steep price perception.

  • I was excited to purchase their best selling shaving cream despite the $35 price point. I have used this product over the past month and I have not seen a difference. The product doesn't lather, it’s more of a lotion consistency which could be why? It may not be for me but I have heard wonderful things about it so I have it a try. I will not purchase again.

  • Fur Oil is a unique product. It made me a lot softer and I enjoyed using it. It wasn’t greasy at all. I love the idea and light scent. The smoothness is worth the price alone. The packaging is cute too.

  • I tried the oil and exfoliate pads and I did not feel like they worked or added any value to my regimen. I decided not to continue as I did not see the point, however, now I just am trying to use up the last of the oil.

  • I wanted to like this brand, but I'm not sure I saw enough of a difference to repurchase.

My big bottle top broke off & leaked everywhere.

  • TBH gave me more ingrowns. Use Tend Skin instead. That said, Fur did hit the packaging out of the ballpark.

  • This is honestly the first brand for ingrown I have tried and it actually works - much less irritation and bumps (and redness). I used after every time I shave and I also use the scrub they sell!

  • Love the idea behind Fur's brand. The ingrown concentrate definitely helps with what it's supposed to, but I do think there are more affordable alternatives out there that achieve a similar objective. If you're looking to splurge a little, then it's a lovely product.

  • The body oil is soo good and it is worth the money. I used it after shaving and it hydrated so well, especially, there is no side effect or allergic.

  • Really gorgeous stuff! Smells great. I do think it's a wee bit expensive!

  • Love the fur ingrown serum! Their products really work, and keep my area down under looking healthy and well-loved! Their skin exfoliator also works wonders at removing Keratosis pilaris!

  • I love the packaging, feel and scent of the Fur oil, I am just not sure it does anything.

Its pricy and an extra step in my routine that Im not sure really adds any value.

  • I have tried the oil and cream, overall they take a bit long to work but I did see an improvement with ingrown hairs. I will have to try more products, like their ingrown concentrate.

Compared to regular natural oil and cheaper ingrown products like tendskin, I have a hard time buying a lot of fur products. Given the time it takes to see improvement, I would rather buy an $5-10 almond or jojoba oil straight from pharmacy vs the price of this! But I do love the product and mission regardless.

  • I was skeptical at first that this product would help with my ingrown hairs but I've definitely been impressed! It hasn't totally gotten rid of them but I've definitely noticed a big difference since I've started using the ingrown concentrate over the past few months. I haven't quite decided if it's worth the price.

  • This product is awesome! The concentrate works really well even on the most sensitive skin. I would highly recommend in the summer bikini line or for anyone who gets ingrowns!

Feels expensive for a little product, but it lasts a long time and is a similar cost to other products in the market!

  • I used the fur oil on my hair for a couple of months hoping it would help hydrate and soften my hair, and genuinely could not tell the difference. It didn't make anything better or worse, just unfortunately made no noticeable impact on me.

  • It smells good and is smooth but didnt help so much with ingrowns

  • I was dying for a product like this when I first purchased and loved the way they entered authentically & transparently into the beauty/health/personal care space. Ingrown hairs can seriously be such a pest, especially in warm weather when you want to be able to keep your legs on display versus red and agitated. I began using Fur's shaving cream and honestly saw pretty good results -- the ingrown were far and few between compared to where they used to be and I enjoyed the feel and scent. Only downside is the higher than preferred price point.

  • Expensive but it does help with after shaving and bumps.

  • They feel a little pricey, but they do work wonders on ingrown hairs and sensitive skin! The fur oil and ingrown hair oil are the products that I tend to re-purchase.
