Reviews mention

  • Durable denim construction
  • Soft, luxurious cashmere
  • Minimalist, timeless aesthetics
  • Comfortable everyday pants
  • Inconsistent sizing accuracy
  • Boxy, unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin, shrink‑prone cotton tees
  • Narrow, blister‑prone footwear

Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

  • Everlane's mission and core products are excellent. While the styles, colors, and options are ever-expanding, their fit and offerings in general don't feel versatile enough to be core wardrobe essentials yet they're also not distinct enough to be special purchases. They're kind of lost in the middle and at the price point I find myself more drawn to Uniqlo for basics and other brands for unique or trendy styles.

Improve the fit options and reaffirm the brand's core identity to bring customers back into the fold.

  • I own a backpack and some pants. Both good quality, nothing special. D2C but expensive doesn't feel too innovative to me. I get that they're ethical but I don't see the hype or appeal.

Nothing stands out from Everlane imo. Neutral +

  • I have been buying Everlane for a few years. They have classic styles and good quality pieces. However, prices have been increasing a lot over the past few years and some of the new styles are questionable.

  • I bought a T-ahirt from them and gotta say, it’s the best quality in my closet right now. Hopefully it will last, I have only had it for 2 months (maybe 4 wears total)

    The price.

  • I used to buy a lot of Everlane products when they first launched online and made sure to visit the opening of their first SF store. I LOVE their style, but the quality is so bad. I quickly learned that they are not transparent and as sustainable as they market themselves to be. All of my t-shirts only last a few seasons, jeans are usually good quality but color quickly fades within a few washes, shoes/boots have held up well, and bags scratch too easily. I ONLY purchase outerwear from them now. I do feel a lot of their products are hit or miss. They are conscious about the packaging which I do appreciate. I don't buy much of their clothes anymore unless it's heavily discounted or second-hand.

Overall quality assurance, consistency, pricing Quality is so bad

  • I've purchased a few different items from Everlane over the years and not only do they hold up, they're extremely cute and are classic items that fit into every wardrobe. Most colors options are pretty neutral and toned down so they fit most wardrobes, but every now and again they have awesome (and very colorful) items! Their activewear is a go-to for me. I always look forward to getting my next Everlane purchase!

No constructive feedback. Always excited to see new items released!

  • Great products, ethical sources and a cool storefront in Soho. Definitely worth the trip and investment.

Bring back mens clothing to the Soho store 😅

  • Love Everlane for its approach to creating solid basics with a transparent footprint. The designs are often the antithesis to fast fashion and are reliable enough to be styled with different outfits.

The fits can sometimes be a little off, especially sizing of jackets / jeans.

  • Perfect, high quality basics at reasonable prices. Shipping is super fast and packing is beautiful.

    Feedback

Sizing is a little inconsistent so I find I have to order a lot with the plan to return what doesn't fit.

  • Everlane makes the ONLY pants that fit my 5ft, curvy, athletic body. The straight crop is my favorite and they only get better over time. In the off chance something doesn't fit, the return process is the easiest I've ever experienced.

  • I've tried several of Everlane's products due to the good reviews but I always found that something was off with its fit. When I also went into the store to try on clothing, the stock was non-existent so I couldn't try on and buy either. I do appreciate its mission and use of materials.

  • Mission is great, customer service was excellent and came recommended by many friends. The transparent pricing caught me attention and got me to buy a few products from them

    Feedback

The fabric wears out quickly and I wish for higher quality fabrics for the price point.

  • I first purchase their backpack and weekend bag 5 years ago and they are such a great quality! My favorites for traveling. Now I also have some basic T-shirts, shirts, jackets and sweaters and they are all good quality. I like minimalistic clothing and basic colors so Everlane is a game-chamger.

    Feedback

The only complain is that sizing is different for different products, so hard to guess the fit.

  • I have purchased a number of items from Everlane over the past few years, including dresses, pants, shirts and sweaters. I like the minimalist styles, the fabrics feel like they're high quality, and the sizing is relatively consistent. All along, they've had excellent customer service--even though you can't reach the online customer service reps by phone, they respond extremely quickly. I also like that they've updated their shipping and returns policy to be more customer-friendly and now offer occasional sale items.

I am not always sure if the price of an item really reflects the quality. I also really wish that they offered more mid- and low-rise pants options, instead of focusing almost entirely the on high-rise fit.

  • Love some basics especially the underwear. Love the consistent brand image of being transparent and doing great to the world. Love the fast international shipping.

    Feedback

The quality of some pieces is not great, including the T-shirts and sweatshirts I've tried. Overall the design is a bit too basic and boring for me.

  • A modern professional's wardrobe. Everlane offers a wide range of clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women. I fell in love with the Glove flats and received many compliments on them. They go well with almost everything I own and require minimal care. I also bought a few articles of clothing for my husband and myself. Good quality, trouble-free shipping to Canada. The downside is that because the products are made for day to day wear, we tend to abuse and overuse them so they deteriorate faster than other items from different brands.

Shoe size varies from style to style.

  • Have only ever owned their backpack, but it's lasted me for years at this point, which is awesome. Everlane is probably one of my go-tos if I'm ever looking to buy more staples to my wardrobe.

Could just be me, but I wish there was an easier way to find out what's in the pipeline.
