Arrae
Experience
Very disappointed in the extremely slow shipping policy.
Táche
Experience
I’m really impressed by the quality and taste of this product. I use it daily for matcha lattes. It is unfortunately expensive for a nut milk ($8) and often hard to source in grocery stores in NYC.
Feedback
Buy direct from Tache for better prices (only downside is you need to buy in bulk).
The Ordinary
Experience
I love that this brand has a wide range of products and makes skincare accessible to all. The brand has good stand alone products like the AHA BHA exfoliating peeling solution. Unfortunately I find most of the products just aren’t that great in terms of providing results. The scalp treatment and caffeine serum did not deliver.
Crown Affair
Experience
I found the products I used (shampoo and hair mask) did what they promised to do, but I can’t get around the cult hype of the brand. The salt scrub shampoo was great for removing residue on my scalp (great weekly cleanse).
Feedback
I think it’s the Glossier-style marketing that’s a turn off for me.
Honey Mama's
Experience
The oil content is very high and noticeable in the taste. I love the range of flavors and texture, but the oily consistency gets negative points from me. Also needs to be kept refrigerated.
Feedback
Less oily might improve taste.
Soft Services
Experience
First impression, the packaging is great and I’m a sucker for cool design. The smell from the active ingredients in the products comes across strong but I can learn to live with it if the products deliver on what they promise. Stay tuned for updates.

I don’t love how these cook, I prefer the texture/taste of Trader Joe’s brand brown rice and red lentil pastas.
