Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

I've purchased several Everlane pieces over the years. While the price is right, my one gripe is that some of the fits can be off. That said, they're on trend, yet timeless and a great place to shop for basics at a good price point.
This brand is perfect for anyone in their mid-twenties looking to elevate their outfits and get out of the rut of looking like they’re still in college/wearing crop tops to frat parties. Everything I have ordered from here have felt high quality and are staple pieces in my wardrobe. My favorite thing I own from Everlane is the cocoon crewneck sweater. I have it in a very pretty dark green.

I've followed Everlane and shopped with them for the last ~10 years. I'm really impressed by their leadership in the DTC space and love the example they set with pricing transparency. The silhouettes and colors have gotten increasingly trendy over the years (in a good way!!) so it doesn't all feel normcore. With that, I have found that the quality can be less consistent, so it's no longer a top standby, but definitely still a fan of the brand overall.
Everlane has really lovely and soft basics, available in a range of colors and fabrics. I love how their women’s range has a menswear twist, but I’ll admit that there is some pilling after wearing the clothes across a few years!
Great option for men’s tshirts

I've been a fan of Everlane for almost a decade now, but the quality has seriously gone down in the last few years. I maintain a relatively a capsule wardrobe with lots of basics, which Everlane fit the bill for. They used to be the affordable item priced cheaper than competitors for this level of quality, 100% organic materials, now more expensive and fabric material cut with nylons and polyesters. While prices have risen, the quality of products unfortunately have not been maintained and has gotten consistently worse, particularly clean in their classic cashmere sweater, tees, coats, and shoes. This is also more evident with all their steep seasonal sales now to get rid of old inventory, when previously there was no need. Newer cashmere and alpaca sweaters purchased in 2023 had started pilling and fraying and stretched out already after a couple wears, compared to the same sweaters purchased from 2018 that look newer.
I love my Everlane products!! I have their jeans, dresses and t-shirts. They fit great and wear really well. The reason I love the brand so much is because of the socially conscious mission they embody. I worked with NGOs and Socially Conscious companies as a humanitarian photographer for 8 years. Learning about and seeing the impact of sweatshops was really eye opening for me. When I see a brand, like Everlane, choose to go above and beyond the status quo with radical transparency it really makes me pay attention and want to be a loyal customer.

Love the sustainable brand. Had difficulty finding pants that worked for my body type.
I have been shopping with Everlane for a while and it's quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. That being said, recently the prices have become a bit insane for the quality. Still some great picks you can find during the sale, but otherwise not sure if it's worth it anymore, I've received clearly used clothing in the mail which is kind of gross as well.

Soft fabrics.
Purchased a sweater for my mom on their website as a gift. Prices high for the quality I thought and when she found out what I paid so did she. Quality is good. The sweater is soft but just paying for a name that’s not that well known is not for me. They have basic items but honestly I can find the same things on Amazon. Don’t get me wrong. Sweater was soft. Runs bigger.
I have a few items from Everlane and love all of them. I own a winter jacket, basic t-shirts, and jeans that I wear regularly.

I prefer the older everlane. I feel like I still have some original products that have held up over the years. Not feeling the same way about their newer items -- also their designs are a bit different now.
I’ve purchased dozens of items from Everlane over the years. My hands down favorite are the pull on air pants for men. They’re my favorite everyday pants. Lightweight, comfortable, and I wish they still made them. Over the years their quality has moved up and down. I recommend trying them on in person if you can.

Listen, I've been with Everlane when they were only online and in start up mode. Back then it felt revolutionary, now it just feels like they're churning out products and the quality has significantly gone down. The sizing is also inconsistent I find. Will I still buy from them once or twice a year. Yes, but usually only out of dire circumstances

Enjoy their variety!
So far, over the last ~5 years or so I have bought the following items. Oxford cotton shirt, v-neck t-shirt, strappy summer dress, washable silk camisole, jogger jumpsuit. The shirt got holes in the fabric very quickly. The t-shirt fabric was quite thin, after a few washes the seams got twisted and it didn't sit right any longer when wearing. The washable silk camisole was the worst. I washed on cold and gentle cycle once and the fabric was not happy - it came out faded, permanently wrinkled and had lost its shine. The scrappy dress was fine, no quality issues but nothing to shout about either. The jogger jumpsuit was ok also, no quality issues. This brand seems to me so far to sell mass market (not great) quality products, in cheap fabrics – at a premium price point. Not impressed so far. Their slogan of "radical transparency" makes me a little uncomfortable. They have photos, location and info of manufacturing facilities on their website. And they have supposed (unverified) markups on product pages. Which, is a good step. But radically transparent? That's a stretch. Things that are radically transparent I'd love to see them do: – Trace, track and map supply chain and make the data available on product pages (so we can verify photos and info easily)! – Show actual environmental impact of each product, from materials and production, as calculated by a third party (much more useful than claims about your markup that we can't verify) I am hopeful and positive that this brand will do better in future, so they can live up to their slogan :)
I love the quality. I wish they had more variety in silhouettes but I can always count of the products to be high quality.
I love every piece I own from Everlane and find myself reaching for them over and over again. I love the transparency in pricing but still find it a bit of a splurge. In saying that, their pieces are great quality and last a long long time so it's definitely worth it! Hoping to add a few more pieces from Everlane to my collection as time comes

Their quality has gone way down. Basically fast fashion now.
