Reviews mention

  • Trendy, distinctive nail designs
  • Comfortable, lightweight nail tips
  • Long-lasting wear potential
  • Easy, intuitive application kit
  • Messy, finicky nail glue
  • Thin, chip-prone nail tips
  • Limited lengths and sizing
  • Plastic-looking finish for some

Chillhouse earns mixed reviews: its press-on Chill Tips often look chic, draw compliments, and can last 1–3 weeks, but application and removal can be messy and durability varies. Reviews praise standout, trend-forward designs and comfortable wear, while noting thin tips, visible plastic look for some, inconsistent glue performance, limited lengths/sizing, and occasional chipping or damage on removal—useful context if deciding between press-ons and a salon manicure.

  • these are not sized for people with smaller nails, there are plenty of sizes for each finger in the pack but the smallest ring finger nail was the best size for my thumb, out of all the sizes only three were usablef or me. that is not a knock on this company at all, but i have to be mindful when shopping for nails and these will not work for me.

  • My review is for the Chill Tips, their press-on nails. I am a big press-on girly, but these don't cut it for me. The tips aren't durable. They're thin, so they can't be re-worn. Multiple broke when I was taking them off. The design also wears off easily, mine showed visible wear. These are comparable to drugstore brands, but priced to compete with much better brands such as Static Nails and Glamnetic. These do not last, so I wouldn't repurchase them even on sale.

  • I've had Chillhouse's in-house massages and love them! I enjoy the press-on nails because the designs are different than what you would normally find in stores and give you a taste of their in-house nail services.

I wish that the press-ons had the adhesive backing already on them because the glue is super messy and can be difficult to apply on your own. I also miss when Chillhouse had a bunch of curated products in their online store from different companies because it let me try new brands and products; now, it's just their own very limited selection of products.

  • I've purchased Chill Tips at Urban Outfitters in the past and love the cute styles they offer. The nail designs are always adorable and trendy. I had no issues with application, and they stayed on for as long as the other fake nail brands I use.

They're double the price of most other press-ons.

  • I've been using Chill Tips on and off for about a year. I love the designs, but sometimes I can't get all of the tips to stay on for more than a few days. Usually one or two will fall off within the first 2 days. I'm wearing my current set and 7 of them have stayed on for almost a week, but 3 have popped off a few times. Overall, the price is great and assuming the 'pop off' issue is user error, I love these!

  • I absolutely adore the design of the set I chose and they looked so cute on my nails. They lasted about 3 weeks and looked pretty good for the majority of that time. They were tricky to apply and I definitely learned a lot for next time, I think it just takes practice! Overall I do think they are worth it.

I like that the nails come in different sizes but I also wish they came in different lengths! I had to trim mine quite a bit because I keep my nails pretty short.

  • They offer fun designs, but they are not as durable as other press ons I have used and shipping took forever. The paint chipped pretty quickly.

  • I love press ons and how easy it is to not only apply but to change out whether you want them on for a day or a week!

    Feedback

I had to be careful on how I used them because I did experience slight cracking of the press-ons.

  • I haven’t tried the press on nails so can’t speak to those. However, the designs seem nice so I would definitely be interested in trying. On the other hand, I had a very bad experience when I went to go get my nails done in person.

Make your prices visible for in person experiences, and treat everyone equally.

  • I really liked the available designs and the store in NYC had great customer service. They were a little difficult/messy to apply the first time but I think it just takes some practice. I got lots of complements on them.

  • I do Social Media and Marketing at Chillhouse and because I know the product so well I can speak to how great it is! Our Chill Tips are a cult favorite, if you know - you KNOW. They can last up to 2 weeks, typically they last up to 6-10 days on me because I have oily nail beds and anxiety so I just pick them off. As someone who hates getting their nails done because I hate sitting still, this is a great alternative for me! I can always find a design that fits my vibe.

More colors, styles, and shapes of the nail! More neutral nails :)

  • Love the founder story & the team hustles hard! Products are great value and constantly being refreshed. I've bought a few sets from Urban Outfitters — they have a different assortment vs. Target

  • i've purchased chill tips for more than one wedding i've attended, and my life has changed forever. i used to spend upwards of $150 to get gel extensions with designs, which i absolutely loved, but my bank account did not. these are so easy to use, and at the price of a regular old manicure, it's so worth it. i've worn each set for almost a week and a half.

really fun designs and many different nail shape sizes (i have tiny fingernails). i wish they had a few more classic or fancy options. also, it's a bit of a learning curve to use nail glue (i stuck all my fingers together the first time), so a video tutorial with tips for common mistakes would be really helpful.

  • Chillhouse is my favorite place for self care! I've been a longtime client of the NYC spa and huge enthusiast of Chill Tips for at-home manis. The press-ons come in so many different cool designs and colorways. They're easy to file, and the glue is the ONLY nail glue I've ever used that doesn't have that toxic smell. If you put the right amount of glue on (both your nail and the press-on), they stay on for like 2 weeks! My nails always look perfect thanks to Chillhouse :)

  • The press-on nails are some of the best I've tried! Mine stayed on for about two weeks and didn't leave any damage to my natural nails. Plus, the designs are just fun and they're frequently releasing new ones.

  • I've only been for a massage (not to get my nails done), but the experience felt overly manufactured vs. truly relaxing. The masseuse was talking during the massage and I wasn't made to feel super relaxed. Would recommend as a treat to yourself, but don't expect a high-end spa.

  • I got a mani at Chillhouse a few years ago and have been a fan ever since. I think their stick on nail designs are the best out there - even in such a saturated market. I've been able to reuse the nails multiple times and always get compliments on them.

  • Literally wearing the Wavy Baby chill tips while I type this :) I have tried two different types of nails and have loved both! They are long lasting and have the cutest designs. Even my mother-in-law wants to try them out!

I wish they maybe came in a few different lengths so I didn't have to trim so much off but not a huge issue for me!

  • These nails were fabulous!! It was MUCH cheaper to use these instead of paying for a manicure and design at a salon. They stayed on through 2 different volleyball games and a total of 2 weeks before one even came off. I was super impressed with how well they stayed on and how clean they look.

Some better sizing options would be my only complaint. I had to choose nails either slightly too big or too small for some nails.

  • These nails are beautiful. But they're insanely long and hard to work with. I put them on and immediately realized I couldn't even unlock my phone with them. I had to buy an emergency nail clipper and cut and file them down. One nail fell off after just 24 hours which was such a disappointment. The glue is also super sticky and hard to work with.

I wish they had different lengths and a better application process.
