  • I tried their Blume Buds power patches, and they were pretty effective! First off, the branding and design are super cute. Love their marketing! When it comes to the effectiveness of the patches, I would say they were more helpful in terms of preventing scarring rather than shrinking dramatically overnight. The description says it should reduce the look of acne in 6 hours, and I didn't feel that was necessarily the case - but it did let it heal without long lasting scars. In general, these types of stickers aren't typically my favorite type of skincare product, but if you're looking to try a new skincare patch, I'd recommend trying these!

  • I really enjoy this brand but after using a few products my only loyalty is to the meltdown. Only zit product I have ever used that works. I really like sunbeam too. Smells are okay. They just upgraded the packaging too!

  • Blume is a great product. It just isn’t a part of my current skincare. I would for sure purchase for friends and family as gifts but I no longer have acne concerns so wouldn’t be purchasing this specific product again for myself. Would be open to trying out more of Blume’s products and see how they work for me!

Not a huge fan of the scent.

  • Meltdown has been a life saver product for me. Smells great and it actually helps get rid of hormonal acne quickly. It has great ingredients but I do feel you are paying for the brand more than the actual quality of the product. They have a strong presence on social media (which is where I discovered them), so I'm assuming they need to cover their marketing costs. I think this is a great product to use here and there when needed, but could get quite expensive to use everyday.

  • Amazing product. Keeps adult breakouts in check with no drying or redness

  • Been using these products since they first came out, and love them! Meltdown is a life saver.

Sad you moved from the glass bottle to plastic.

  • I’m on my second bottle of Blume’s Meltdown Acne Oil and really like it. I use it as a spot treatment on acne and I do think it works well! It’s great for treating spots without drying them out or irritating them further.

  • Picked up a few products to try. Love the mission and packaging, products were good/ok, nothing standout.

  • I found them through instagram - I love the content that they're putting out and how they're normalizing periods and puberty. The products are good, but you're definitely paying for the brand.

  • I use Blume's Day Dreamer face wash daily and really like it. I also have their Whirl moisturizer and Melt Down spot treatment and have enjoyed both. Their products smell good, are gentle and effective. Their subscription is also easy to manage!

I'd love to see more products in their line up!

  • Loved meltdown. Wasnt fully effective for my severe cystic acne but it was the best I had found.

  • I got ads on Instagram about Meltdown for ages before I finally caved and bought it to try. It felt a little pricey at first (at least for my general skincare budget), but honestly, it's now my holy grail product and so so worth it! (That being said, they have sales frequently and I usually buy multiple then to stock up.) I usually use Meltdown all over my face as part of my morning and night routine to keep my skin clear, but it also works great as a spot treatment when I feel a particularly big zit coming along. When I first started ordering and during early COVID days, there were sometimes shipping delays which was frustrating but it was a small business figuring things out and they were always really communicative about the process and issues. Meltdown would definitely be one of my deserted island picks!

The first few times I used it I felt like it had a really strong (but nice!) scent. I'm not sure if i'm just used to it now or if they've reduced/removed it.

  • I loved Meltdown!! It always makes my skin feel soo plump and moisturized. Once I wore it during the day, and my friend complimented me on how glowy my skin looked.

The oil blend claims it can do a lot of things (prevent acne, treat hyperpigmentation, etc.), and I'm not sure if I believe all of that. But, it does do an amazing job of moisturizing and making my skin feel soft.

  • I tried Blume's organic regular tampons and overall I found them to be on par with the leading brands of tampons. They are made from organic cotton but otherwise, I couldn't detect any noticeable differences or benefits in function over my typical tampons. The design requires you to raise the applicator before pushing down which may not be obvious to everyone and could cause some confusion, but once that becomes clear, it functions as expected. If organic cotton is important or matters to you, I would recommend these.

  • Wow - I wish this brand had existed when I was a teenager!! Personally, meltdown has become a frequent part of my own routine. It works and smells GREAT. Also Blume is a great follow on IG and other social channels. They have awesome content on meditation & self care.

  • I tried Blume because I saw 8 million ads about how their Melt Down oil can get rid of acne quickly. Spoiler: it does not. Here is more about my experience: Melt Down Oil - I really wanted to like this, but I felt it didn't do much. It definitely helped hydrate, but for those deep cystic zits, it didn't really make a dent. In fact, I noticed tiny ones forming around where I tried to treat it. I wouldn't repurchase Superpower Clay Mask - This mask came with the oil in a bundle, and I actually didn't mind it. It is a typical clay mask, wasn't overly drying and gave me a nice, clean feeling after use. I likely wouldn't repurchase just because I have clay masks I like more.
