    Purchased through a Thingtesting offer

I purchased during the Thingdrop offer and was expecting more flavor - what I got just tasted like water. Couldn't finish a can so I gave it away. I liked the packaging though.

I wanted to like these - the branding and packaging is super cool but sadly it just doesn't taste like a soda. If it were branded as a water beverage, I think that would be more appropriate and the taste would have been more in line with expectations but it's branded as a soda. The ingredient list says it all - the first five ingredients in the Cherry Pop are carbonated water, cane sugar, erythritol, stevia (both???) and citric acid...so it's basically carbonated water. I've tried both the Cherry Pop and Sour Blueberry and both taste like water with a hint of flavor. I expect a soda to have not just carbonation or sparkle but also a distinct flavor. I've tried competitor brands that have done do this successfully. Unfortunately, these just come across as great branding on a product that doesn't live up to the hype.

I’ve been trying a few different brands of better for you prebiotic sodas and I was underwhelmed with Vina. I tried Cherry Pop and the cherry flavor just isn’t strong enough - the apple cider vinegar taste comes through more strongly than the flavor, making it taste more like a vinegar soda. I wasn’t compelled to try any other flavors based on this.

Amp up the juice and flavor to overpower the taste of vinegar

I have been using Lush products for many years (maybe over a decade) and I love that their products are made from natural ingredients, and also make skin and body care fun. My favorite Lush products are the massage bars. They are a bit novel but moisturize so well and always leave me feeling pampered and luxurious. It's a really affordable way to indulge in a bit of self-care and know that you're treating your body well as the same time.

I LOVE Fenty products - my favorites are the gloss bomb lip luminizers, the shimmer stick and the matte longwear foundation. As someone with darker skin, Fenty is one of the few brands where I can always find a product and shade that complements my skin type, works with my complexion and enhances my natural beauty, making me look amazing. I have been using the gloss bombs on a regular basis for several years now and have 0 complaints.

I tried the Strawberry Lemon flavor of Poppi's prebiotic sodas and overall I liked it. The strawberry lemon flavor is spot on, if not a little muted on the lemon. You can taste the stevia in it but I didn't find this to be a major issue. I would have preferred to see the juices higher up on the ingredient list (note: organic apple cider vinegar is the #2 ingredient after sparkling filtered water so maybe there is some weight loss benefit) but overall the ingredient list is pretty healthy. I'm not sure I would buy this particular flavor again but if offered, I would drink it and I would be open to trying other flavors.

I tried the fruit punch soda and was very pleasantly surprised. At first sip, I could taste the Stevia but this became less noticeable as I continued to drink. The fruit punch flavor came through well without making the soda too sweet. I don’t like too many soda alternatives but I would drink this regularly. I also like that the first four ingredients are carbonated water and 3 types of fruit juice.

The Stevia flavor could be a bit more subtle

I tried Aura Bora's Basil Berry sparkling water through a snack box I received and I literally immediately spit it out. In fairness, I hadn't realized it was a 0 sugar, 0 calorie drink before I tasted it so part of my reaction was due to my expectations. However, after realizing what I was drinking and tasting again, I couldn't bring myself to finish this. There was a hint of flavor but not very strong, and not a very welcoming flavor to my tastebuds. I did love that it was a healthy beverage and could see those who are more concerned with the health benefits than the taste really enjoying it but the taste was a barrier for me.

I tried Blume's organic regular tampons and overall I found them to be on par with the leading brands of tampons. They are made from organic cotton but otherwise, I couldn't detect any noticeable differences or benefits in function over my typical tampons. The design requires you to raise the applicator before pushing down which may not be obvious to everyone and could cause some confusion, but once that becomes clear, it functions as expected. If organic cotton is important or matters to you, I would recommend these.

I've tried the Moonshot sourdough sea salt crackers as I was looking for better for you snacks with 0 saturated fat. At first glance, the crackers look like large wheat thins cracker - they're pretty sizeable. However, I found the taste lacking. The sourdough overpowers the sea salt to the point that it just tastes like a sourdough cracker. I really like to taste a bit of saltiness in a sea salt cracker but this did not deliver. From a value standpoint however you receive a good amount of crackers for the price.
