Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

My favorite pasta or as my fiancé says 'fasta' - fake pasta! LOL! Every product we have purchased has been incredible and so tasty!! I love what this company makes!!
This review is only for the pizza crusts. I am on a salt restricted diet and pizza is unfortunately very high in salt. I found this option that is decent for salt levels. It’s not the same as a real pizza, but it satisfies my cravings! I have bought this product countless times. It goes on sale pretty regularly, so I stock up then. I always have one in the freezer.

I love Banza products - most especially their pasta options. It allows me to have pasta as a weeknight staple meal, without feeling guilty about it. It also is super handy to have in my pantry as my wife is gluten sensitive.

More pasta shapes!
For a lower carb pasta, banza is pretty solid. Though, a few of my friends can't get over the texture so it's not for everyone. Mac and cheese is my fav from them and I would def recommend it.

Perhaps new products would be cooler, I think pizza was a hit but would like to see more types of pizzas and other things

I've been eating Banza's chickpea pastas for a few years now and they've gotten better over time to me. Like others said, there tends to be a lot of foam spillover from all the starch, so that's something to look out for while cooking. I haven't tried their pizzas yet, but I've heard great things about them!
I've been buying Banza's chickpea pastas for years as I try to swap my staples for healthier alternatives. I love the taste and my only complaint is that it foams when you cook it which can lead to spillover from the pot.
All of the products I tried are a great alternative to more traditional options (pasta, Mac and cheese, pizza) but they’re not a perfect replica.
Feedback
However, in my experience the products seem to get better with repeated exposure! So they’re a little different but once you’re used to the slightly different taste/texture then they fulfill the craving much more easily
This is a super good brand. High in protein but doesn't taste like it! I love their pasta.

It's a little on the pricey side

I am a total brand loyalist to Banza. Eating healthy is not always easy, but Banza makes it easy and tasty. Unlike other alternative pasta, Banza pasta has great taste and consistency. Everything else is also amazing!
Feedback
Be careful of overflow pasta water! This can foam more than traditional pasta.
The products are good, but they go a little to the dry end vs. normal gluten containing products. Still, great product.
Feedback
If the products could be a little more moisture inside, would make them perfect.
Pretty good pasta but expensive.

Amount in box for the price.

Tried the chickpea pasta, came out weirdly firm and mushy at the same time.
Feedback
Had odd flavor and texture that were unexpected.
Great high protein alternative to regular pasta! Tastes almost similar and has a good texture
I've tried their pastas and they definitely do the job but I don't necessarily seek it out. There are other gluten-free (and specifically chick-pea based) pastas out there.
Feedback
The pasta tends to have a gritty quality which isn't to my taste.
The chickpea pasta is delicious. As someone who is always trying to eat more protein, I found the chickpea pasta perfect for adding protein, without compromising flavor.

Great for nutrition and avoiding gluten and the like. Overall can make the texture quite different, could lead to pasta being mushy or could lead to excess chew.
Feedback
I do wish the price was lower and that the texture could be more similar to pasta, or that the instructions were similar to that of standard gluten products to simplify cooking.
I like Banza pasta. It hits that craving for pasta but doesn't leave you feeling full and bloated.
Feedback
Some of the pasta breaks apart when cooking and can become a little mushy.
I really wanted to like this, as it would be great to substitute pasta for something healthier. But man, my body did *not* like this.
Feedback
I felt so bloated, crampy, and unwell after eating a big serving (I was very hungry) of pasta.
I've only tried their pastas. As long as you don't overcook it I think it holds together pretty well for a GF pasta.
Feedback
I'm sure it's necessary for binding or something, but I don't love that there's xantham gum in the pastas.

We love how this brand takes the guilt out of carb-laden foods! The pizza is our favorite - well worth the price premium compared to other frozen pizzas - but we've been buying the pasta for years, it's a staple in our weekday dinner rotation.
Feedback
Pasta breaks apart too easily and doesn't maintain its integrity after boiling.
