Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Have been eating Banza for years now, and at this point it is the standard in our house. Make sure not to over cook it or it will be soggy, but if you do it right it always hits the spot.

Overall a great grain free starch choice. Texture does not taste the same as wheat but you do get the protein benefit from the chickpeas.
Delicious
As one who can eat gluten, I found Banza to be delicious! To me, nothing will replace traditional pasta, but I thought it was still delish and a great source of protein. I absolutely loved the pizza the same as crust with gluten!

More products!
Love this to make with Greek salad to add some protein. It tastes nearly identical to regular pasta!
I use this pasta and this pasta only. I have tried so many other gluten free varieties and nothing comes close. It's just like "regular" pasta!

Nothing, I love it
If you're simply looking for a healthier alternative for ready to eat/make food, Banza isn't that much different in calorie count. The pasta is quite chewy/gummy so I would definitely undercook it below the time placed on the box. The pizza on the other hand is pretty decent! Would mostly recommend to friends looking for gluten free alternatives but not to the average consumer.

was not expecting such a fluffy and tasty crust on the pizza! pasta was alright.

keep innovating on the pasta, as the taste was still a little overpowering and cook process was too foamy. the pizza was great though and looking forward to more favors!
I like the noodles, but the mac and cheese box was a disappointment. The flavors were just weak and bland and for me the size of the noodles caused them to cook too quickly and feel a bit more mushy. I wouldn’t buy them again.

Improve the max and cheese. I wanted so badly to like it, but maybe it’s just not for me.

The best health pizza around

It’s perfect
Great flavor and very tasty. The chickpea flavor is not overpowering at all. It cooks just like normal pasta and tasty amazing. You don’t get a strong chickpea flavor either.

A bit pricey
Banza...LOML Banza has been a godsend for me on my weight loss journey. I have PCOS, and it's important that I include at least 30g of protein at each meal to help regulate my hormones and hunger. Banza is also beneficial to my hormone disorder as it's made from chickpea and not regular flour so it doesn't spike my blood sugar as much! Pasta: My first Banza product was the pasta. It does have a noticeable different texture and taste from regular pasta so make sure you salt your pasta water! I've also heard rinsing the pasta helps with the gummy texture that may occur. Pizza: The four cheese pizza is absolutely delicious. I was afraid that the crust might be too soft or taste weird, but it's actually pretty good. It's a bit expensive so I can't stock up as often as I'd like but I wish!
I'm GF and so I'm always looking for good substitutes, however Banza products give me THE WORST gas and I can't say the taste was worth the smell.
It's really good. However, the pasta can be a bit too hard. I have to cook it longer for a better bite.

Less chew, please.
We use only Banza pasta instead of regular pasta now! Delicious and protein packed.

The water gets a little foamy when boiling your pasta but not a huge deal.

Not a huge fan of the pasta. It is very temperamental too cook. One second too long and the texture is way off
I think it's an okay product but I really did not enjoy the texture of the pasta. I do however appreciate the gluten free options
I've had the pizzas, and these are a great alternative to regular pizza full of gluten and white flour.
Feedback
Would love if these had more of that chewy regular pizza crust texture
All the pastas I've tried and the pizza are fantastic. Compared to other lentil/alternative pastas the taste and texture are really similar to standard pasta.
Is it anything special? Not really, but I always pick up a box or two when I see a sale.
