Yellowbird Foods wins praise in reviews for flavor-forward hot sauces that balance bright, fresh ingredients with real heat—Serrano, Habanero, and Blue Agave Sriracha are recurring favorites—so yes, the brand works. Weak spots surface around sweetness in some sauces, occasional inconsistency in spice, smaller bottles and messy caps, and a few tasters finding certain flavors underwhelming or too mild/hot.

  • The best natural hot sauces hands down. Flavor-forward, not just burn-your-mouth heat. I love how fresh and vibrant the sauces taste — perfect on eggs, tacos, roasted veggies. Our fridge is never without a bottle (or three).

  • The ingredients are so clean: Serrano Peppers, Cucumbers, Onions, Organic Carrots, Organic Distilled Vinegar, Garlic, Organic Cane Sugar, Salt, Lime Juice Concentrate. I love the Serrano pepper one, perfect on some meat or eggs. Perfect amount of heat. Highly recommend.

  • A fun collection of hot sauces, that range from kind of spicy to super hot. The Serrano is the right amount of heat for me. These remind you that chiles are fresh and fruity, because you can taste the freshness of the chiles.

  • Love their sriracha hot sauce, especially the fact it has no added sugars, which is very hard to find in a sriracha type sauce. I look forward to trying more of their flavors! The only negative is their products are quite expensive.

  • Very good! I think it’s a little pricy tho. Good taste if you love hot sauce

  • These sauces are delicious and their branding is now cute AF. Love it.

  • one of my fave hot sauces, the sriracha is comparable to actual sriracha (which is great because there appears to be a shortage of that right now)

  • Have you ever tried Yellowbird Foods' hot sauces? They're amazing! I'm always on the lookout for new and unique hot sauce options, and Yellowbird Foods certainly didn't disappoint. One of the things I love about their sauces is their commitment to using natural, high-quality ingredients. It really makes a difference in the flavors, which are so diverse. Another great thing about Yellowbird's hot sauces is that they offer a well-balanced level of heat. It's spicy enough to give your taste buds a kick without overpowering the sauce's intricate flavors. And let's talk about the packaging! Their squeeze bottles are so easy to use, with no mess at all. If I had to find a downside, it's that some batches of their sauces can be a bit runnier than I'd like. But overall, Yellowbird Foods delivers an amazing culinary experience for those who want to add a flavorful spark to their meals.

  • I'm not the biggest fan of spiciness, but discovered this hot sauce when I moved to Austin 5 years ago and they are so yummy. Jalapeno and Serrano are my favorites (probably due to my spice tolerance). I got them as a gift for my uncle a few years ago and he is a huge hot sauce fan and said it's his favorite hot sauce he's tried, and he has been repurchasing them ever since! Noticed they just did a rebrand of their packaging, which are cute!

  • so yummy. makes my college dinners (aka quesadillas and nachos and slop) taste like an actual meal that I can enjoy. They are super flavor full, so you don't need to use a lot. The bottles last a pretty long time which I thought wouldn't be the case since they are on the smaller side

  • Good hot sauce. I wouldn't say amazing. There is such a competitive market for hot sauces and I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to hot sauces. But they have a good balance of flavor and heat. I'd be interested in trying a variety of them side by side.

  • I love that these are available all over ATX in restaurants because they're so good. I love using these hot sauces on my scrambles, burritos, and ramen.

  • i have a special place in my heart for the classic serrano hot sauce

  • I'm a big hot sauce person and I have found that the Yellowbird hot sauces have such great flavor, but the spice really differs from bottle to bottle. I've tried the Habanero Condiment and have had bottles that were so spicy I couldn't use more than a drop and I've also had bottles that had a really nice spice level. I'm sure that this is really based on the heat of the peppers used but it makes it hard as a customer when I don't always know what level of heat I'm going to get.

Would love more consistency in spice level between bottles - sometimes the spice is overwhelming and overshadows the amazing flavor of these sauces!

  • Have this in our fridge and not only is it great drizzled over breakfast foods or a rice bowl, but I've been mixing it with olive oil, garlic, and some other spices to coat my cauliflower before roasting!! Makes for a great taco filling!!

  • This is the actual best tasting hot sauces. I love how it is Sweetended with dates, it is the perfect flavor.

  • Yellow bird is fantastic. It’s not crazy spicy and you can still taste the flavors instead of just pain. Whether a pure heatonist or someone just looking to add some flavor, there is a sauce for you. Also really like the packaging.

  • I've been really into these hot sauces lately, especially the habanero one—it's hands down my favorite and the spiciest one I’ve tried. But what really sets these sauces apart for me is their commitment to using minimal, clean ingredients. And I really love that they are squeeze bottles! On their website they offer hot sauce packages that are not only cute but also make great presents for any fellow hot sauce lovers out there.
