Best of Thingtesting4.7

Yellowbird Foods wins praise in reviews for flavor-forward hot sauces that balance bright, fresh ingredients with real heat—Serrano, Habanero, and Blue Agave Sriracha are recurring favorites—so yes, the brand works. Weak spots surface around sweetness in some sauces, occasional inconsistency in spice, smaller bottles and messy caps, and a few tasters finding certain flavors underwhelming or too mild/hot.

  • As a hot sauce girlie, I LOVE this hot sauce brand! My favorite from Yellow Bird is definitely the Serrano Hot Sauce. So flavorful and has the perfect amount of heat! A great addition to so many of my meals.

  • I'm not a huge hot sauce fan (sorry!) but I really love Yellowbird. Just enough of a kick for my mild palette. I like that it favors clean ingredients. Cute packaging is an added bonus. Need to experiment with the other flavors.

  • I first tried this hot sauce when i visited Austin and i bought a bottle to bring home from my trip. I was hooked from the beginning and I'm happy I get to see it in stores now in California. My favorite is the habanero flavor!

  • 8 out of 8 on the yellowbird sauces I've tried. Here they are ranked, 1. Hitch hiker - my favorite. very, very spicy. I eat it every day on a hardboiled egg. 2. Jalapeno - great on Mexican, Mediterranean. It's a little sweet, it's not too spicy. Good on egg sandwiches too. 3. Ghost pepper - used to be my #1. Very smokey, pretty spicey. Great on Indian (squash koftas) and Thai spicy basil udon. 4. Sriracha - Better than the OG. Great on most Thai, Vietnamese takeout. 5. Habanero - was the first Yellowbird I tried. I travel with the minis. Excellent product. A classic hot sauce. 6. Serrano - I like it , probably the sauce I use the least. But it's a good alternative to green Tabasco. 7. Spicy Plum - pretty good, haven't figured out my favorite food to use this on yet. 8. Wing sauce - good on impossible nuggz. All in all, Yellowbird hot sauces rule the world in my house. My son calls them pica picante and always asks for a pin size droplet.
