  • Sustainability-focused, zero-waste ethos
  • Occasional grainy mouthfeel
  • Inconsistent mixing in coffee
  • Watery or thin texture reports

Willa’s Oat Milk earns strong reviews for clean, organic ingredients and creamy performance—especially the Barista blend, which froths and makes flavorful lattes—while feedback flags grainy texture or separation in some flavors and a polarizing aftertaste for Dark Chocolate. Reviews also note attractive packaging and sustainability credentials, but cite inconsistent mixing in coffee and occasional watery or thin mouthfeel as drawbacks.

  • The dark chocolate is so good. I loved that it wasn't too sweet. It both satisfied a sweet craving and was deliciously refreshing.

  • This is the only oat milk that I'll drink! Here's why: 1.) it's zero-waste, they use the entire oat. good for the planet. 2.) there are no vegetable oils or canola oil or fillers like Oatly. (having a medium sized coffee with Oatly in the morning is basically the glycemic equivalent of a medium mcdonald's fry. no shade to mcdonald's fries, i'd just rather eat french fries when i want than be drinking canola juice with my coffee every morning.) 3.) it actually tastes good and not like weird water! I really love the dark chocolate one, was stoked about the Thingdrop which was such a good price point. you can buy Willa's basically everywhere that's convenient, including Amazon, which is another win. (any other oat milk that doesn't have canola in it has been kind of hard to track down.) this is an A+ for me and i'll be a life long fan of this brand, which is also family-owned and based on a grandmother (Willa herself)'s recipe! woo!

  • Willa’s Oat Milk is an absolute standout in the world of plant-based milks. Its creamy texture and subtly sweet flavor make it perfect for everything from coffee to baking to enjoying on its own. What really sets Willa’s apart is the clean ingredient list and commitment to sustainability—it’s oat milk done right. It blends seamlessly without overpowering, making it an excellent choice for those who value quality and taste. Willa’s is a must-try for oat milk enthusiasts and newcomers alike!

  • Tasty oat milk, but for the price point and amount you get for 1 carton - I feel like there are better brands out there that are more convenient, cheaper and I won’t have to buy them through Amazon

  • Most store bought Oat milks have fillers, stabilizers, and added fat for the creamy mouthfeel, making oat milk a highly processed food item. This yields more processed carbohydrates, added sugars and low amount of soluble fiber (good for cholesterol) and protein. In order to do that, the fever the ingredients in your oat milk, the better. There only a few on the market, that contain less than 4-5 ingredients, and are as whole food of an item as possible. Could Willa's fill that gap? The ingredient that matters most in oat milk...wait for it...OATS! Where the oats are grown... organically, biodynamically, or with help of fertilizers and pesticides? Chemicals such as glyphosate (Round-up) have been found in cereal, including Cheerios. Therefore, we know how those oats were sowed! Willa's claims that they are glyphosate free. The original has only 4 ingredients - organic whole oats, water, organic real vanilla, sea salt. It is shelf stable prior to opening. Unlike other oat milks, the color is closer to light beige than white. The mouth feel is simple and clean. It is not smooth and rich like other oat milks that have added oils in them. Added to coffee, depending on the coffee and it's acidity, Willa's does separate after 5 minutes. If used like a Latte, there is no separation. The cost was quite expensive at nearly $10 per carton. These are the reasons why I gave it a 4 instead of 5. This is a great choice when in a bind and you need an oat milk. However, my general recommendation is to make your own non-dairy milk at home using a machine such as Nutr. You control the ingredients, and there is less packaging waste.

  • I am a fan! Their dark chocolate is very tasty, and I like that it’s not too sweet. I actually preferred drinking it straight than mixing it into any coffee or granola or anything.

  • The Dark Chocolate is absolutely delicious! The whole family agrees that the flavor is terrific. The mouth-feel is a bit more watery than anticipated given the "milk" label. Amusingly, my youngest thinks it has an after-feel in your mouth (vs. an "after-taste") that surprised her. But all-in, we love it and will be getting more given how clean the ingredients and delicious the flavor!

  • One of the better oat milks out there! I've experienced a lot of separation with other brands which is a big turnoff because you obviously want the milk to mix in smoothly. It froths well, too which is another big plus! I didn't know that the company has zero food waste in their production process - just another reason to love it.

Would love to see some new SKUs - caramel? hazelnut? golden milk?

  • Delicious

I really liked this milk! It was creamy and had a good taste to it. I would buy again.

  • I tried all flavors and these were sooo tasty! I love oat milk in general with coffee, cereal, or alone with ice so I found these all to be very enjoyable. I will say they beat Oatly and TJs oat milk :) The dark choco milk with ice is really flavorful too!!

  • I was absolutely stunned at how much I loved the Dark Chocolate Oat Milk! I've never been a big milk drinker, and figured this would be a good addition to smoothies or for cereal. I ended up drinking this oat milk on its own as a sweet treat. It is perfectly delicious on its own, and doesn't have a weird consistency or texture like I have experienced when trying to enjoy other oat milks on their own. I will definitely be purchasing this again whenever I find a store that carries it. Exceeded all expectations!

  • Okay, so I thought this was a creamer for coffee, none the less, it's great in my coffee! I had family in from Puerto Rico and was able to share this lovely chocolatey goodness with them! Can't wait to try the other flavors!

  • Super tasty oatmilk alert! Was excited to try the dark chocolate oat milk as part of a recent Thingdrop. I've added it to smoothies, steamed it for my latte, drank it straight up, and even poured it over some ice cream. Really great each way! I don't avoid dairy but my husband is lactose intolerant, so this is a great alternative for him. I'm no longer an avid consumer of chocolate milk in my 'normal' life, but loved having this in the fridge as a lil treat. Definitely worth a try! Also love that they're Good Food Foundation certified :)

  • as a person who very much enjoys whole milk, i'll say that initially this does taste like actual milk while i was drinking it but the aftertaste was really bitter and i think it's from the oats and not the dark chocolate (the quality of chocolate was really good actually). *edit 8/13/2023 after having finished it, i noticed that i tasted the bitterness from the oats less and less and actually grew to enjoy it a lot. i guess my tastebuds adjusted? (i'm not use to nut milks). the price is a little too much though so i don't think i repurchase any time soon.

  • my favorite thing about this product is the packaging. It stood out compared to everything else on the shelf. The flavor is really good also and I like how it is non-dairy. My family puts this in their coffee.

  • I rated this a six because the first thing that I noticed was how expensive this Milk is compared to other brands on the shelf. Looking beyond the price of the product for how much you get I really like to the taste. It is something that felt very rich and flavorful.
