Summersalt earns strong reviews as a reliably good swimwear brand, praised for durable, flattering one-pieces like the Sidestroke and inclusive sizing, though fit consistency varies and bust support can be lacking. Reviews also flag occasional fabric feel issues, modest-leaning cuts, and mixed results in loungewear and apparel quality, making swim the clear standout.

This is my second suit from Summersalt, and it doesn’t disappoint. The material is lightweight but supportive, and feels like it’s made for movement which is what I’m looking for in a supportive one piece.

I’m a bit torn on this brand. Their styles are really cute, but the bathing suits I ordered (along with a cover-up) just didn’t fit me quite right. One of the one-piece suits I did keep had a nice design, but the torso felt a little short and was pulling down—which is surprising since I’m 4’11” with a pretty short torso. I did have some store credit to use, so I ended up buying a bralette and underwear, which are cute, but again, don't fit quite right. Overall, I haven’t had the best luck with fit, but I wouldn’t completely rule them out. I’d still be open to trying a different style next season and seeing if it works better for me.

Quality craftmanship and great fit. I found the one thing I did not like about this suit is that there is not padding up top. I don't feel confident wearing this and I think having the option to at least have removable padding would change my mind about this suit.

I love the coat and get so many compliments every time I wear it. However after only 3 months one of the snaps ripped. I haven't ever even snapped it, I've only utilized the zipper so I'm not sure how it ripped. While I got it on sale, I would say the quality doesn't match the price. Sadly disappointed.

I love this suit. It’s so flattering and comfortable. I have this in 2 color combinations and I would have even more! It does get stretched out a little bit over time. That would be my only gripe. But I like the brand.

Really cute bathing suits that have stood the test of time - mine is going on 4 years. I also bought a pair of cashmere pants that I wear for pajamas, and the pilling is crazy in the crotch area/between the thighs, and unfortunately they became pretty scratchy after maybe 3-5 months of wearing (I followed all washing instructions)

Summersalt is my go to for all swimsuits. I love the sidestroke the most but have some of their OGs from a few years ago that have held up so well with regular use. All of them offer light compression and just help suck everything in without being too tight.

I was a bit wary of trying Summersalt since I'd only seen influencers talk about their suits, but I'm so glad I gave them a try! I ordered a few to try before a beach vacation and ended up keeping two, which was more than I'd planned! I think the cuts/styles have a good amount of variety so you can find something you like without it being exactly the same as everyone else's. My only disappointment is that the Sidestroke suit I got doesn't have any internal bust support, but the fabric of the suit provides enough support/compression that it doesn't really matter. Both my suits have held up well through multiple wears and washes, and I hope to wear them for the next couple years!

I LOVE this suit and have never gotten more compliments on a swimsuit before. It's curvy friendly, hides all your lovely lady lumps, big chested friendly, doesn't pill! Plus, it doubles as a really cute top after you've been swimming and need to put on a skirt or pants afterwards! I've had it for about 5 years and it's still in great shape.

I have two one pieces from Summersalt that have lasted me over three summers! They have the perfect amount of coverage and style. The price point is worth it for how long they last and its nice that they don't diminish with use.
I own the one shoulder one piece in navy. I love the quality and fit!
I was searching the internet for bathing suits that were a balance of trendy, high quality, and had actual coverage and structure. I stumbled upon Summersalt after regularly seeing their social media ads and promotions of a large sale. The selection is actually quite vast in terms of colors, styles, and I especially love that you can search by bottom coverage (I was seeking moderate instead of the minimal). While most of the pieces in my opinion are a bit modest, I found an epic two piece in a gorgeous copper color that was on sale. Their sizes took a little to think through because instead of small, medium, etc. they do it by 2, 4, etc. A one piece I ordered I found to be too modest and not cut high enough and sought to return, but my only option was a store credit, which was perfectly fine because they carry a wide, decent assortment of coverups, and other apparel. The brand is refreshing too in terms of touting that their pieces are constructed after taking thousands of real women’s measurements. I feel they are a differentiator in the swimsuit space and their product line is timeless and high quality, would definitely recommend trying—just be sure to read if your item is returnable!
I purchased some loungewear from Summersalt, which I know is not their bread and butter (I think of them as a swimwear brand!). The price was right so I went for it on a matching sweater and sweater pant set. Everything ran a little large, was final sale, and the price was absolutely right. So far it's all held up well. Most importantly, I had an issue with my order and customer care was beyond helpful-- they were really amazing. This is the kind of company I want to buy from, so I'd definitely consider ordering swimwear in the future.
Did not like the fabric at all, nor the embedded nipple pads. Stodgy cuts.
beautiful and reasonable pricing - my wife's fav go to
Really great brand with an array of products made to make women feel confident at great prices.

I really like the styles, but none that I’ve tried so far have been the right fit for me - unfortunately!

Kind of mixed feelings- I have bought a few suits from them and I just don't find that they fit particularly well... I have wider hips and they look kind of strange, like gathering around the hips on me... I think it's because most of the bottoms are between high waisted and low waisted. Besides that, they seem like good quality, but I just havent liked any enough to wear consistently.
The suit I have is from a while ago so is unfortunately no longer available, but it felt like such an elevated one-piece that doesn't look too sporty. It has a flattering deep v, square back, and high-cut leg which I love. I found it easy to find my right size. It's really comfortable, and I've even worn the one-piece as a bodysuit. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the material just isn't as buttery soft as some other brands I've found (like left on friday).

Love Summersalt! Their suits fit great, and I love the sales they continually offer throughout the year. The collaborations they do are so cute, I wish I could afford to buy more of their suits! They are very flattering.
