Sonos earns strong reviews for excellent, room‑filling sound and elegant design, proving the brand is good at delivering clear, powerful audio; however, persistent software friction—glitchy app, Wi‑Fi quirks, and limited Bluetooth on some models—undercuts the experience. Reviews also praise easy multi‑room setup, seamless grouping, and products like Arc, Five, Move, and Era 100, while citing frustrations with app crashes, streaming service limitations, and occasional connectivity or sync issues.

Unpopular opinion but my sonos tv sound bars aren’t anything special. They were super expensive. The sound doesn’t seem so much better than a cheaper option.
Obviously Sonos is a big player in the sound space. I was surprised at how affordable my sound bar was (for the quality) and I love the design. Sounds great!

Do not like how it requires an app to connect to speakers. Additionally, preference to Spotify users and I don’t have Spotify so automatically limits their user base.

I have one of these in each room. I find them great when they work properly, but sometimes it is hard to get it to play from your apps rather than the Sonos apps (you have to do the whole sync and unsync situation)... Otherwise sound quality is great and set up is easy.
I've cant imagine a lfie without my Sonos... ok that's a bit dramatic but I've been a loyal consumer for at least a decade now and still love them. The sound bar has been the anchor of my living room and the sonos 1 is great for bedrooms
Great sounds, good battery time.

Would like it to be able to connect to multiple devices easier

Decent sound, although not the best, a little too heavy on the bass. Glitchy interaction with smart assistant.

For the price, there are better options out there.
Love my SONOS
They really are that good. Incredibly high sound quality. And the app makes it easy to connect to Sonos speakers wherever you go.
I've been using Sonos speakers for years now and have them in many rooms around the house. I think they're awesome. They sound great, the system is easy to use and most of the time, works great. When things don't work great it can be really frustrating and hard to know what to do to fix the issue, but luckily it seems to happen pretty seldomly for me.

Sonos has become one of my favorite audio brands because of the way it blends design, ease of use, and high-quality sound. The speakers are minimal and modern, easy to fit into any space without drawing too much attention. Setting them up is simple, and once everything is connected, the sound quality is consistently impressive: clear, balanced, and powerful enough to fill a room without distortion. Where Sonos falls short is in the app experience. While it works most of the time, it can be clunky and occasionally glitchy. I’ve run into problems when grouping rooms or when multiple people try to control the music. It is not a dealbreaker, but it does take away from what otherwise feels like a seamless product.
I love my sonos products that I have at home! They all work flawlessly through the app and I can control all of my products through one app. I also love how easy it is just at the products up through the app and the sound quality of the speaker is is stunning for the price point.

Sonos are great quality, sleek speakers, however I had so many issues with the connection and ended up switching for Bose after a few years. Whatever speaker I had was Wifi only, so if power was out or Wifi was down, the speaker won't work at all. Besides that, it just disconnected all the time from my phone. I don't have these issues with Bose.
We own multiple Sonos One’s and a Soundbar for our TV! They sound great and I love how easy they are to sync and control with the app! What I hate is the fact that I need a Sonos app to be able to play music through my speakers. I’m a YouTube music user and find it SO frustrating that I can’t play music using the YouTube app or off my computer, the few times I’ve tried it’s been so glitch and buggy which is quite frustrating. The connection does work flawlessly with the Sonos app but the UI and search functionality is not great. The volume control bar is also placed in a frustrating place within the app. I’ve accidentally turned the volume up to 100 several times when switching between apps :( I hope they can make the experience for users more seamless because their speakers sound great! The speakers look super sleek which is great! I hope they bring back the HAY collab, because I would love to get my hands on the green one!!

Amazing sound, worth the investment. They've recently had some app setbacks but this doesn't affect the quality of their products. I have their arc and two erzas for surround sound. Having experience this sound quality, I don't think I can go back to normal sound.

Great quality, too hard to make them work.
I've used Sonos in various apartments and homes for surround sound. Works great to hook up whole home audio indoor and outdoor. It's stylish with the decor too. The app can be kludgy. We were Bose fans forever and jumped to Sonos. Very pleased!
LOVE. So reliable for sound quality; easy set up. What more can you need?
