Scrub Daddy earns glowing reviews for making cleaning faster and more effective—its FlexTexture sponges cut through baked‑on grime without scratching, resist odors, and last longer than typical sponges—while some reviews note durability can wane (shedding, tearing, softening) and the hot/cold firmness can be inconvenient for those who wash in hot water. Reviews also praise the versatile lineup (Scrub Mommy, Dish Daddy, Power Paste, Damp Duster) and the utensil‑friendly smile design, but mention bulkiness, food trapping, and sustainability concerns as recurring drawbacks.

THE BEST PRODUCT EVER. My household stocks up on the scrub mommy and it's a staple in our dishwash routine.

I love this product and also the back story and mission. Such a simple idea but well executed!
I feel like everyone uses and knows scrub daddy at this point. Best sponge and doesn't get all smelly and mildew-y. Shout out to Costco for starting to carry it in bulk!

Obsessed with my scrub daddy sponges, especially the color multi-packs so I can easily color-code my cleaning for each room!
I know, I know. Only three stars for the Shark Tank superstar? But hear me out. I love the scrubbing power of a fresh ‘Daddy. It’s gotten everything from burnt parmesan to over-caramelized, day old honey off everything from pans to baking trays. However, I hate that it gets soft in hot water! I’m not a stellar cook so I deal with burnt, crusty, sticky mess all the time. I’d really prefer to have something rigid when I’m scraping off the remains of whatever poor vegetable I incinerated in the oven. Also, the whole “texture changes in different water temperatures” doesn’t work too well, at least for me. It’s more firm when it’s dry, and it gets pliable when wet, regardless of temperature. I like that Scrub Daddy isn’t tested on animals, and is latex and BPA free. The company claims that you can wash them in the top rack of your dishwasher, but every time I attempted that, my scrubbers would come out looking way worse for wear, torn and noticeably less scrubby. I feel like you have to replace them often! They’re still the best scrubber I’ve found, and they’ve got an Eco option, so I still have one or two smiling over my sink. I’m in the market for better though!
The face shape is clever (eyes handle your fingers, mouth works for utensils). With cold water the texture is firm; warmer water softens it for gentle scrubbing. It handled baked-on grime around pans better than usual sponges. It held up well over multiple uses, didn’t fall apart, and rinsed clean fairly easily. Price is higher than basic sponges, but the durability helps justify it. Quirky, cheerful, definitely a conversation starter in the kitchen. The brand leans playful but the utility is real. Caveats: It’s still a sponge — for very heavy professional cleaning you’ll still need more heavy-duty tools. And if you prefer no synthetic foam materials at all, you may want a natural option. An excellent mid-tier upgrade from basic sponges. Brings genuine utility and fun into the cleaning routine.
Good level of grit that helps clean but doesn’t scratch, all with a smile on his face! I just moved and used a Scrub Daddy to help clean out my old place and it did a good job on many different surfaces. He also maintained his shape and didn’t get water logged or anything.
These sponges are very versatile and are decent quality. Not only are they cheerful, but you can throw them in the washing machine and they emerge looking good as new!
I highly recommend the Scrub Daddy. It is awesome for scrubbing my shower floor, sink, etc. I have a Scrub Mommy too and I like it since it has a soft side, but I don't use that all that often. Lasts a decent amount of time too!
The makeup of this sponge is slightly tougher and more durable than a lot of traditional, rectangular sponges. At the end of the day, it is just a sponge. If you want something slightly cuter to sit by your sink, buy this.

They aren't super expensive compared to other sponges, so i'd say go for it!
Scrubb Daddy is so easy to use and easy to dry! Perfect for dishes but I have also used this to clean other household things, overall great and leaves no harm to surfaces!

N/a - cheap, accessible, and many different formats!
The BEST sponges and cleaning products. These things are magical.
Does the job. Whenever I bake, Scrub Daddy is always by my side once I am done.

I don't really get the hype behind this product. I love the concept but I can never get it as hard or soft as I'd like to. (The sponge, of course!) It either needs to be excruciating hot water or ice cold water the get the texture of the sponge to adapt. The sponge works really well on harder scratches but I can never get it delicate enough for glasses and stainless steel to prevent scratches.

In terms of improvement I think their "Scrub Mommy" fixes the issue I had above but still doesn't work the way a sponge should.

I am obsessed with this product. Like it is my favorite thing in my house. I have been using the scrub daddy and scrub mommy (a two sided, pink, smiling version with a bow- she's the best) for the past 6 years and can honestly say they are the best sponges on the market. I have a HUGE problem with smelly sponges, like when a sponge sits in the sink for 1 week then gets mildewy- I can smell it from a mile away and then cannot touch it... Scrub Daddy NEVER smells, EVER. And lasts for probably 3-4 months without wearing down. In terms of effectiveness- the two sided Scrub Mommy is the creme-de-la-creme. It gets all types of burn and crust off of pots and pans. One side is rough and the other is finer to really allow for more precise cleaning. I have never bought this product from their site- only through amazon and in stores (grocery and drug stores)- where prices range pretty significantly.
These are kind of a game changer. I didn’t get the hype until I tried one about six months ago, and now I always have to have them around. I just wish they lasted a little bit longer before I have to replace mine.
I don’t understand almost the cult following. It’s a quirky product but it works no better than my normal sponge. Cool seeing them make it from shark tank but unless I get them on super sale or gifted I won’t buy them.
I love my scrub daddy and scrub mommy. It gets everything off and I think it is my favorite sponge for any mess and any pan.
My roommate brought some of these home from the store and I was so excited to finally try these. I used one with the pink goo to clean my floorboards and it worked effortlessly without scratching the surface. In terms of using the product on dishes with caked on substances, it doesn’t do a beyond amazing job compared to a normal sponge. I still have to use a lot of elbow grease to get food off of plates. 5/5 for cleaning walls, 4/5 for dishes.
