Scrub Daddy earns rave reviews for cleaning performance and versatility, with users replacing traditional sponges thanks to durable scrubbers that don’t smell, adapt firmness with water temperature, and safely tackle everything from nonstick pans to glass stovetops and bathrooms. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some scrubbers shed or tear within weeks, can be too stiff or bulky, struggle with hot‑water scrubbing needs, trap food in pores, and raise sustainability concerns.

  • I have used these for years in my kitchen and my favorite part about them as they last so long and they never stink! I just recently bought a little holder for it to section to make sink and that has been a game changer. I’ve used them on everything from my cast iron to my all clad and ceramic pans.

  • Transparently, can't really tell the difference - appreciate the dye-free option, as I'm generally looking to reduce chemical exposure wherever I can. No different in quality - still lasts forever and does a great job on tough scrubs.

  • I love Scrub Daddy sponges. They are always so cute, especially the festive designs they release around the holidays, which make cleaning a little more fun. Beyond the adorable look, they are incredibly functional and do such a great job tackling tough messes. They hold up really well and are a staple in my kitchen. Definitely a 10 out of 10 product.

  • Thanks to Insta home resets, I became so obsessed with buying a Scrub Mommy that I actually asked my kid for one for a Christmas present! I ended up with 4 (happy mama!), which lasted me a year and 3 months of heavy duty washing up (each one used for around 3 months, before they fell apart - see pic -, which is a whole lot longer than the entire jumbo packs of cheap sponges I used to buy from the store). They are pricier than other sponges, granted, but they do their job so much better and leave my pots beautifully clean, with minimal elbow grease required. Plus, Scrub Mommy's smiley face, when I'm doing a chore I hate, just kind of lifts me! They seem more sanitary too, as they rinse out well and dry quickly. Frankly, I wouldn't go back to the budget sponges now. In fact, I've been so impressed that I've splashed out on other items in the range (the scouring pad is fantastic on saucepans! And I love the Acid House vibes of all those smiley faces). The only real downside in quality is eventually the scoury side of Scrub Mommy starts to shed fibres, though I take this as an indicator to use a new one. Wish it was more sustainable but I do get my money's worth, so I'm throwing out way fewer sponges than I would have done previously.

  • Scrub Mommy (Scrub Daddy’s sponge) is genuinely clever — the dual-sided design (soft flexi-texture side for delicate surfaces, firmer scrubby side for grime) means you’re not reaching for two separate tools, and the temperature-reactive material really does firm up in hot water and soften in cold, so it adapts to the job. It holds soap well and rinses clean without turning into a bacteria sponge overnight the way regular sponges do. What could improve: the flexi-texture side wears down faster than the scrubby side, so you end up with an unbalanced sponge before it’s technically “used up”; the smiley face design is cute but functionally irrelevant and adds nothing (you’re paying a bit of a novelty premium); and it’s genuinely more expensive than a multipack of basic sponges, which is a harder sell if you’re just doing dishes rather than mixed household cleaning

  • Scrub Mommy (and Daddy) sponges are honestly one of the best cleaning tools I’ve used. They’re versatile, durable, and fun to use. I love how they change texture depending on the water temperature, firm in cold water for tougher scrubbing and soft in warm water for gentler cleaning. Scrub Mommy have a softer sponge side, which is great too. They work incredibly well and make everyday cleaning way easier.

  • BBQ Daddy gets the really hard to get stuff off without leaving bristles behind. It really gets the grease, sticky things, and BBQ sauce off the grill. It requires a bit more time than a traditional grill brush but it’s worth it.

  • Obsessed! The best for cleaning dishes and pots and pans. Have the scrub daddy and the scrub mommy, love them both. Highly recommend!

  • Love these guys! The spinge size and texture are perfect, and then the “suction” holder you can get to put through the “eyes and mouth” actually works to keep the sponge on the side of the sink - and dry it out btw uses. Seem pretty durable as well, can run them through the dish way as needed.

  • I personally hate washing pots and pans. Thankfully the scrub daddy has made me less hateful towards them. I can scrub off almost anything without feeling the food/ gunk under the sponge. I especially love the fun colours. Plus no mater what it’s always sibling at me.

  • I love these sponges so much. I really appreciate that they have two sides: the soft side and the coarser side. This makes it super easy to remove any grease and grime. Never using another sponge!!

  • Got these because of the hype but I would definitely say that these have helped with all my cleaning needs. The colors helped me organize which scrub I’m using to clean the restrooms, appliances, and dishes. Definitely holds its shape and keeps a smile on its face when putting in tough work. 😊

  • I love this sponge it is literally my favorite. It cleans my pots and pans so well and I recommend it to all of my friends and family. Would one hundred percent recommend you try it out and see how you like it.

  • I bought the minnie mouse scrub mommy and I thought it was really cute! It worked well, and I would say I am a fan of this brand. It makes washing dishes more fun which is important because I hate dishes!

  • The best things to ever happen to our kitchen. This keeps our new stainless steel pans looking good while we are still trying to get the hang of them!

  • Originally the Dye Free Scrub Mommy was purchased because it looks cute and matched the aesthetic of my college apartment. But, now they have come a staple in my cleaning routine. I love the dual material in the scrub mommy with half hard half more sponge material. The smile is great for spoons and any other small objects.

  • I’ve been using the scrub daddy exclusively for 2 years. It’s the only scrubber that doesn’t get “gross” in between. Love love love. Scrub mommy is cool too, different color! Same thing.

  • I really like scrub mommy sponges! I have purchased them from Costco in the past, and I love the dual sides. The rough side is great for tough scrubbing, and the softer side is perfect for easy cleans. The sponges are also durable and last for a while. The only downside is not even the fault of the company ... it's really just that sponges are kind of gross to me. I hate that they are known for bacteria, so that stresses me out. LOL

  • These sponges are great! They outcast the traditional Sponges we were using and have tons of great colors.

  • A bit hard but once you let it soak up with water it’s perfect to wash with. No need to guess when to replace as it’ll start crumbling apart.
