Reviews mention

  • Exceptional durability and construction
  • Lightweight warmth in jackets
  • Versatile, travel-friendly designs
  • Credible sustainability and repairs
  • Inconsistent, confusing apparel sizing
  • Occasional fleece pilling issues
  • Delicate nano puff shell fabric
  • Mixed wind and waterproof performance

Patagonia earns overwhelmingly positive reviews and proves itself a good brand: gear is exceptionally durable, warm, and versatile across activities, with standouts like the Nano Puff, Better Sweater, Synchilla fleeces, Atom Sling, and Black Hole bags. Reviews also flag drawbacks—frequent comments on high pricing, inconsistent or tricky sizing (especially women’s bottoms), occasional fleece pilling and Nano Puff snags, a few wind/waterproof performance gaps, and muted styling for some tastes—making in‑store try‑ons and product selection key.

  • I have a few jackets and shirts. I’ve been very happy with everything. The quality is outstanding.

    Feedback

My jackets are very warm and comfortable. I’ve never had a single problem with any of their products.

  • I gave my husband a coat this Christmas and he fell in love with it. We like to give gifts that match our more sustainable lifestyle. When reading about the brand, the support the brand gives to the products being spoiled, the strong campaign on how to repurpose the products, the information about the donation they make to fight climate change, all of this made me buy the jacket and I will definitely buy other products again.

    Feedback

A very warm, resistant coat that will be used for many years, with proper care.

  • We love everything about Patagonia. The overall mission and values, the look and feel of their products, and their amazing customer service. My husband and I love going on adventures and we love wearing Patagonia because it's not only stylish but effective in keeping up warm, dry, cool, etc. The quality is impeccable and we truly love what the company stands for.

  • Patagonia is my go-to brand for hiking clothing and accessories. My rain coat has lasted me years along with my sweaters. They’ve withstood many different hiking trips and lots of cycles through the washing machine and dryer.

  • I have a one year old Torrentshell 3L jacket, and it’s not waterproof. I’d noticed on walks in drizzle that the inside was damp, especially the insides of the sleeves which were wet. Recently I got caught in a downpour. Thirty minutes later I was back home. The inside of the coat was wet, the insides of the pockets were wet. I took out my iPhone, and when I took the case off, water poured out. The iPhone was not working, it refused to obey screen swipes and pressed, and I could see damp on the inside of the camera glass. I’m trying to dry out the phone, in the hope that it will recover. I’ve just examined it, and after overnight drying, the screen has a large area that is navy blue. This rubbish coat has ruined an expensive phone. I paid a fortune for this jacket, £180, and it is no more waterproof than a cheap £60 jacket that is claimed to be water resistant. This coat is not fit for purpose.

  • The brand is amazing. Their products truly last forever. Whether you are purchasing an item new or finding it second hand, the life of the product is infinite. I cannot praise enough their fleeces “synchilla” but also their black hole duffles. I was gifted a black hole duffle and it is by far my most used backpack. I am currently on month 2 of travelling Europe and I have been thriving using my blackhole duffle.

  • I HAVE NEVER FELT WARMER OR BETTER THAN WHEN I AM WEARING AN OVERSIDE PATAGONIA FLEECE.

  • Great brand and good quality, I buy their clothing used and second hand.

  • Not sure I even need to leave a review for Patagonia because they truly never miss. The quality and comfort speak for themselves, and I’ve never been disappointed with a Patagonia purchase, not once. It’s an investment, but the quality for the price is unmatched.

  • Great product. Super soft, great material, warm and cozy. Would recommend for anyone looking for a 1/2 zip shirt that’s well made, quality product that will leave you warm and cozy this winter. Highly recommend.

  • I absolutely love my Patagonia Women’s Los Gatos 1/2 Zip! It’s incredibly comfy and has quickly become one of my go-to pieces. The fleece is soft and cozy, making it perfect for lounging around or heading out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, quality fleece that you’ll want to wear all the time!

  • Patagonia's products last forever, work great & the company itself has a great message. I feel good when buying & supporting this brand. I do wish they did more street style collabs like Northface does.

  • I bought a pair of wool socks and I love how warm and soft they keep my feet. I’ve had them for a few years now and they have held up well. I would love to try more of their gear but I just don’t need anything right now.

  • I love Patagonia's mission as a company. I had a jacket that had an issue with the seam and was able to ship it back and have them fix it. I trust their brand and products. In addition I've bought stuff for my kid and they have a high resale value.

  • Patagonia is an amazing brand! The quality of their products is top-notch, and I love that they’re committed to sustainability. The clothing is comfortable, durable, and designed to last, which makes it worth the investment. Whether I’m out hiking or just running errands, Patagonia gear never lets me down. Plus, their dedication to the environment makes me feel good about supporting them. Definitely a brand I trust and recommend!

  • Patagonia makes an awesome puffer jacket, I have worn mine so many times. It is great for on the go for errands. I like it because it is light and easily packable and packs super well when backpacking. It’s a great layer when the temperatures go down at night when you are out backpacking. Very durable.

  • My husband I refer to this brand as “Patagucci” as it’s typically hundreds of dollars for an item and kind of like “designer granola wear” (imo). Personally, I love Patagonia and will forever be a fan of their products

  • I purchased a women's size small puffer zip jacket from the brand directly as I was going camping in Big Bend National Park during the winter. It kept me cozy and comfortable without overheating. I wore the jacket hiking, eating, and sometimes sleeping. The side zip pockets are convenient and there are two interior chest pockets as well. The jacket version I got did not have the hook, just the collar and I felt like that this enough. I love that this puffer jacket packs down super flat really easily—and if it ever gets a rip I can take it to any Patagonia store for a free repair. The brand is unique in that it's still a private company and donates many of its proceedings to protecting and bettering the outdoors.

  • Their zip up fleece and commuter jackets have been staples in my fall/spring wardrobe. Durable and eco-conscious.

  • While it is an expensive brand, their clothes are very well made. I've been able to send back clothes that have torn and they will fix it and send it back to me. They also have a program that's like an online thrift store for their clothes, called Patagonia Worn Wear.
