Reviews mention

  • Elegant, modern aesthetic cookware
  • Thoughtful, integrated design features
  • Easy, low-effort cleaning
  • Versatile, multiuse functionality
  • Inconsistent nonstick coating longevity
  • Stain-prone, chip-prone exterior
  • Uncomfortably hot, bulky handles
  • Poor high-heat searing performance

Our Place earns polarized reviews: the Always Pan and Perfect Pot look stunning, clean easily, and the integrated spatula rest, steamer baskets, and thoughtful lid-strainer design impress, but durability falters—nonstick coatings often degrade within months, exteriors stain and chip, handles run hot, and high heat ruins performance. Reviews affirm the brand can work well with careful, low-to-medium heat use and gentle cleaning, yet many cooks report uneven longevity and prefer stainless or cast iron for lasting sear and reliability.

  • I love this brand. The color schemes and product designs are easy on the eyes. The website is fun. The list goes on. I got the classic pan in pink a few years ago, and I just got the cast iron one in purple a few months ago. Also all the little accessories. Cute and chic. Not an easy combo to achieve. Add in functional. Talk about trifecta.

  • Cute, but not really worth the price because it doesn't really do anything special ...other than being aesthetic and heavy good quality/durability overall! I think I have seen some quite similar in look and colours at winners/marshalls for a quarter of the price though, so it depends if your buying it more for looks or not, but I can say that the quality is strong still <3

  • Really enjoy all of Our Place's products. I just purchased the wonder oven and am having a blast using it for cooking all different types of foods. It fits perfectly in my apartment and has been great for cooking!

  • I love my always pan and perfect pot. I’ve seen a lot of reviews of people saying their pan being bad after not much use. I’ve followed the care instructions for both of my products and I’ve had no issues, they’re good as new. It is very important to wait for them to cool down before putting cold water on them/cleaning them. They are both my go tos. I especially love how light the pot is and it does such a great job.

  • I purchased the wonder oven about a month ago and have been using it daily. So far the only issue I’ve had is the size is significantly smaller than the countertop/toaster oven I was using previously and that took a bit of getting used to. My husband joked that it looks like an army branded easy bake oven (because of the color.) I don’t have any real negatives to point out other than the staggeringly high price point for such a small item. However, it does work really well and I like that the included sheet pan feels dense and high quality, which wasn’t true of my previous oven. I also thought I would hate the knobs, but I’ve come to prefer their functionality over the finicky button panel of my previous oven. All in all, if you don’t mind the small size, it’s a great product. For reference—it’s barely larger than an iPad mini and too small for a standard “toaster oven size” silpat mat. My reasoning for only four stars is because I think the nearly $200 price tag is unfair for such a small item, but I understand that’s capitalism for ya ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • I will start by saying I love their dishes. I was introduced to this brand because I was looking for new dinner plates to replace all my 10 year old chipped crate and barrel dishes. Our Place plates are sturdy and gorgeous. I would buy more of their dishes without hesitation. Their pans on the other hand… If only these products lasted longer. I’m all about innovation to improve the user experience, and I will pay the investment…if it works. I have the OP Always pan, Dutch oven, small pan, and small pot. These products have a shelf life. After about a year the coating begins to chip or wear down even if you follow all of the instructions to a T. Once the non-stick coating is compromised everything sticks and it’s only a matter of time before you get so frustrated you look elsewhere. I will say, their customer service is great. I’ve had to replace my daily go-to Always pan 3 times. Yes, 3 times in 2 years because I’ve either received pans that already had small chips in the coating/paint or the pan didn’t even last 120 days before losing its non-stick. At this point I will continue to use the pans I have while they last, but will look elsewhere once the coating wears off. They are a hefty investment but the technology is not their yet to warrant the cost.

  • I am pretty neutral on this pan set. I think it does the job pretty well, and it looks good. At the same time, it got marked up pretty fast on the outside and shows wear on the cooking surface itself, so I don't think it's aged the best in the past year-plus. Overall, I continue to gladly use it, but am not sure I would buy again.

    Feedback

Shows wear too easily and cooking surface was pretty easily scratched.

  • I must say, I absolutely love & appreciate my frying pan & pot. The colors they offering bring a pizzazz to the kitchen. The durability of the both are great as I’ve had them for 2 years now. I can use both to cook for my fiance & I. The wooden utensils provided with the cookware is perfect so it doesn’t scratch the bottoms.

  • Ordered some dinner plates for my mother for mother's day - it shipped and arrived quickly, and was packaged well! There were some chips on the rim, but customer service was helpful and the exchange process was so quick. My only concern is that when stacking all the plates together, they seem to be a bit uneven, which was sort of odd and hence the docking of a star. Otherwise, great looking plates!

  • I love the brands mission and their customer service is amazing! But...I struggle to actually like using this pan for what I hoped for. Making eggs in it is miserable because the nonstick is non-existent. I REALLY wanted to love it, but I find myself putting it away and never using it because it's just not that functional for much. I got the charcoal color, but now I wish I at least got a cute color.

  • I love the overall brand and the aesthetic these kitchenwares bring to my space. I've had the Always Pan for over a year now and am very careful with it yet I feel like it's not really built to last. I know you're not supposed to use high heat and to wash it carefully but if it was an "always" pan it would be nice to be able to use a little bit of a higher heat for the price.

    Feedback

The Always Pan in particular doesn't seem built to last. I wish my pan held up more and wasn't so discolored. I hope they try to improve this moving forward and it makes me hesitate to try other products from them.

  • Our Place has always been on my wishlist and I wanted to buy their cookware but I was waiting on the perfect color for me. As soon as I saw the ACID color I was sold! I been having these for a year and they are still in great condition. If you take care of them they will last you. You also have to keep in mind to cook on medium go low not on high. This will help them last longer :) I love their products! A great investment for myself since I cook everyday and looking at these every time I cook makes me happy so they are worth every penny!

  • The pan is so dang pretty I wanted it to work so bad. But, it's just missing the non-stick part they rave about. However, I bought the pot (I know, I know) and it works perfectly! I almost wonder if the pot is made differently... I ended up throwing away the pan out of frustration. But, that pot is pure perfection, ok?! 😫

    Feedback

I just wish they would make their pan medium size + with the same material as their pot. Since their pot *is* actually non-stick. 😭

  • can't speak for the original our place pan, but the cast iron one is amaaaazing! i purchased it as soon as it dropped and have found myself reaching for it more often than my caraway pans.

  • this review is long but i review 3 products: i purchased their original mail product “always pan” for my sister last christmas (2020) bc she cooks a lot. so i asked her a yr later her opinion & she pointed to her kitchen sink & said “well its always there, dirty waiting to be cleaned before the next meal.” so it obviously has been used a lot & she didn’t mention have any problems w to any features (non-stick etc). i purchased 2 of their newer products 6mo ago as i am downsizing & thought their new “perfect pot” would allow me to rid of several random size pots to just 1. i do NOT cook alot but so far like the pot. i especially like the strainer built into the lid making draining noodles, water from boil or steam anything super fast, easy & 1 less thing i need to clean (strainer) or try fumble use side lid & always some of my small pasta or veg go dwn drain. i also purchased “3 piece kitchen knife set” which is chef knife, serrated & pairing knife. they all come with covers which for me is a must bc i don’t have a knife block. i like they are pretty light & have grooves in handle guide your grip. what was my favorite was a card w each knife showing & explaining the proper way to hold.

    Feedback

i wish the pan & pot were dishwasher safe, even top rack but i guess it damages the no-stick coating i also didn’t think the knife set was as sharp as other knives i own all 3 products can also be pricey but i got all 3 on sale at different times & was well worth it. i dont think i would pay full price

  • I’ve heard bad things about the pan so I never bought it, but I have the plates and the bowls. The plates arrived broken, but after I complained to customer service they sent me new ones. I like that the bowls stack, it’s good for space saving. The plates don’t stack perfectly though (they’re a little slanted) which I don’t love.

  • I've purchased glassware, bowls, plates, and the always pan from this company, and I absolutely love them. I have the green glasses, and they are so cute and have held up well after multiple runs in the dishwasher. Bowls are a bit large for single servings. I have used the always pan almost everyday for about two years. My pan still is holding up well and I can use it for just about anything. I will say, my friend also have the always pan, and the bottom of theirs has turned black. I just avoid using really high heat and mine looks fairly good still after about two years. I want to get more, but they are expensive. They usually have great deals on Black Friday if you're willing to wait.

  • It’s pretty good! I don’t think it’s a multipurpose pan but I love the color and when it burns, it easily comes off with their complementary scrubber

  • A+ for beautiful and functional design. I appreciate the thoughtful versatility, which is what drew me to buy this. D- for durability. I took impeccable care of my yellow Always Pan and boy did it disappoint. For one, it's really heavy. I know being ceramic, that's to be expected, but I honestly can't drain anything that's hot without dumping it into a strainer. Another thing, the handles on both the pan and the lid get super super hot. Even with oven mitts, hot handles combined with the heavy weight makes it so much harder use on a day to day. I took great care of my pan, and the nonstick coating wore away in about 3 months. It's par for the course with any type of nonstick coating, however, even with oil, a lot of things stick like glue to this pan. It hasn't necessarily deterred me quite yet from purchasing again, but this time, maybe not a pot or a pan, perhaps just the dinnerware. Although, I'll probably need to see a lot more positive reviews over time to really dive back into this brand.

  • I do not recommend this pan. I bought this for myself at the beginning of the pandemic since I knew I'd be cooking at home a lot more, and wanted to treat myself to something nice. The nonstick wore off in only about 6 months. I do tend to use higher heat, but I never put it through the dishwasher. I've never used a nonstick that wore off so quickly. And once it did wear off, food got burned and stuck to the pan, making it incredibly frustrating to cook with. I also burned myself multiple times on the inner handle of this pan. Why not make the entire handle safe to grip? Finally, this pan is not oven safe, which is disappointing. I ended up throwing it away. I spent twice what I paid for my All-Clad pan, which has already lasted longer than this one. It is a beautiful pan, and I like the spoon rest and some of the other designs, but this pan did not perform for me.
