Ouai reviews suggest that the brand offers a mix of high-quality products with both strengths and weaknesses. Ouai is good at providing richly scented, effective hair care products. Strengths include their effective detox shampoo and moisturizing leave-in conditioner. However, the high price and strong scents are potential drawbacks. Overall, Ouai may be worth the investment for those who prioritize luxurious hair care with distinctive scents, but testing samples first is advisable.

Pricey, but I'm a diehard fan of their hair oil for my permed hair. So nice for treating my damp hair and allowing to air dry for soft curls. The mini size is perfect for travel.

The scalp oil really hydrated my damaged hair.

I have used a variety of their items - Mostly their shampoo and conditioner along with their fragrances. I love the smell of products. Their hair products are just okay but it's the fragrance that is amazing.

I love the minimalist look of ouai products, but my experience has been hit or miss. The leave in conditioner Spray is a little too runny, but these smoothing cream is great, as is the hair mist.

The hair care product (dry shampoo) did its Job. Good travel size packaging. It wasn’t any kore nourishing than my usual go to options but I had no complaints.

I live and breathe OUAI’s shampoo and conditioner for medium hair. Also, the wave spray! I swear by it! My hair feels so good every time I use it—soft, clean, never oily, and just overall luxurious. I’ve even gotten my friends hooked on it after they showered at my place—they literally went out and bought it for themselves right after! One of the things I love most (aside from how amazing it makes my hair feel) is that OUAI offers refillable bags. So if you’ve already purchased the regular bottles, you can just refill them instead of buying new ones. It’s such a thoughtful, eco-friendly touch that makes me love the brand even more. Honestly, OUAI just gets it. The quality, the scent, the experience—it’s all 10/10. I’ll keep repurchasing forever.

I'm not a fan. I found this to be super overpriced in terms of quality. Not moisturizing at all! The smell was also just okay, nothing special or complex. If this wasn't in nice packaging and I was just blindly trying it, I would be like eh, next.

The leave in conditioner is really great. It has a great spray that gets all over your hair in a fine mist rather than just one spot. I also really think it helps detangle my hair after the shower. I definitely recommend.

Love how little I have to use compared to other product but nothing life changing for my hair

I got the dry shampoo foam and I think it works great, but the smell is awful and I hate it. Makes it not worth using because of how strong the scent is. I haven't tried any other products after that, they may work great as the dry shampoo is very good and if you like strong perfumey scents it's probably for you. I prefer other brands that use less plastic and overwhelming scents.

My hair has been on the thin side since bleaching it, and the Ouai shampoo works great for my hair. The first thing I do with any product is smell the item to see if l will like the fragrance or not. The shampoo has a floral perfume scent to it, but for me l like it. My hair didn't feel oily after, I just made sure not to buy too much on the side of my scalp, because I did before and made it appear oily quickly. The formula is perfect for thin hair because the shampoo itself is an almost see-through gel, not a typical foam shampoo. The only downside is the top of my hair looks more frizzy, but l but a little bit of hair oil, and back to being down not up. I wished it gave a little bit more hydration to my hair, but it didn't make it hay straw-dried.

Smells delicious but I feel like it doesn't do much for my hair. I wanted more out of the price to be honest. Probably will not repurchase.

OUAI Detox Shampoo is a total lifesaver for removing buildup and leaving my hair feeling clean, refreshed, and lightweight. It lathers beautifully and gives my scalp that deep-clean feeling without stripping my hair or making it feel dry. The scent is luxurious and long-lasting—like a spa in a bottle! I use it once a week, and it’s amazing how it brings life back to my hair, especially after using styling products or going through busy weeks. If you’re looking for a shampoo that resets your hair and keeps it healthy and shiny, OUAI Detox Shampoo is a must-have. Highly recommend!

I purchased the clarifying detox shampoo and use it every few weeks or so. A little bit goes a LONG way, and I think it works really well. It makes my scalp feels super squeaky clean too. I would totally recommend!

I love the smell of the hair oil but for me it doesn’t work as well as some others. It’s a bit greasy and the smoothing effect could be better.

I love the leave-in conditioner spray, it works well and smells AMAZING. It does have a strong scent, so it might not be a good match for people who are sensitive to scent.

I use the OUAI Fine Hair Shampoo and Conditioner, and my hair absolutely loves it. While the price tag is a bit spenny, it really does feel like I’m using a luxury product after every wash. That said, I tried the travel-size leave-in conditioner once or twice and didn’t have the same love affair.
