**Review: Ouai St. Barths Bath Gel**

Ouai's St. Barths Bath Gel has become a game-changer for me. The scent is incredible, giving a fresh, clean vibe that’s like an instant escape to a tropical beach. It lathers well and leaves my skin feeling great—clean and hydrated without any greasy residue. The overall experience is top-notch, making my showers feel like a mini getaway. If you're looking for a bath gel that combines rugged quality with a touch of luxury, this is it. Highly recommended!

I heard about this brand on several radio programs with the hosts extolling the delightful experience it was using Ouai hair care products - superior softness, clean, easy to comb/brush - as described it was the best shampoo ever created. It caught my interest, and I decided to give it a try.  My first challenge was figuring out how the product name was spelled!  Since I had only heard the ad on the radio - I was a little stumped.  I did find the spelling; I ordered the product and tried the shampoo.  The shampoo was quite luxurious, and I liked how my hair felt afterwards.  My challenge was the fragrance.  It just didn't work for me.  I wasn't motivated to try other products, so I haven not

This ry didn't do anything to my hair. I have curly and dry hair and my curls were just meh after using their shampoo.

I’ve got to hand it to OUAI—when it comes to hair care, they’ve got me wrapped around their sulfate-free little finger! I’ve tried the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, scrub, and even the extra strength cream conditioner. Let me tell you, my bathroom looks like a shrine to OUAI

The shampoo and conditioner work wonders on my hair, making it feel like I just left a salon. The only thing I wish is that they had a bit more scent. Don't get me wrong, I love subtlety, but a bit more "oomph" wouldn’t hurt, you know? Suprised people say its weak!

And let's talk about their other products! The body wash and scrub are staples in my self-care routine. But wait, it gets better—OUAI makes an insanely high-priced dog shampoo, and of course, my pampered pup has it. Honestly, I think he begs for bath time just to flaunt his luxe lifestyle. Picture this: my dog giving me those “puppy eyes,” basically begging me to use his $30-a-bottle shampoo. I can almost hear him saying, “Only the best for me, human!” 😂


My favorites are the perfume, body washes, and shampoo. Unfortunately, the products are very pricey and I can't justify purchasing them! In terms of quality, I find the quality fantastic and the perfume scent lasts for a really long time. 

I love Ouai! I've used their shampoo and conditioner, along with their hair gloss, hair oil, and hair mask. My hair feels so smooth after using it and prevents damage. The hair oil / leave in conditioner is 10/10, takes away every flyaway, and hydrates my hair.

OUAI is amazing high quality product with a reasonable price! Great smell and super luscious feel! It made my hair shiny - silky - and it felt healthier after regular use.  

I love The Ouai leave in conditioner. I have fine hair, so sometimes it's hard to find the balance between moisture and stringiness. This leave in definitely finds the perfect level of moisture for me. And it smells good!

I have tried quite a few of these products but there has only been one that I have actually liked and continue to use. The air dry foam is super nice and I use it after almost every shower. It's perfect if you are feeling lazy and want soft waves. It helps decrease greasy, crunchy, or frizzy curls.

I loved how OUAI made my hair feel, very soft and silky. The price is definitely on the higher side but I think it is worth it! 

everything I tried from OUAI is phenomenal. my absolute favourite is Cleansing Scalp & Body Sugar Scrub. it's an amazing scrub that smells like roses. luxury in your bathroom at an affordable price!

"Affordable" is a bit of a stretch - quite simply, while their products are amazing, they are beyond my price range for the quantity offered. Indeed, short of an amazing sale somewhere, I basically never even get to touch these things. I just can't justify it. It's hard enough to justify the other shampoos, etc., that I get, and these are more, but I need to concede something to the rat's nest gods.

That being said, if you CAN justify the expense - these are truly amazing, My favorites are the detox shampoo and leave-in conditioner. Good at getting the crud all out and infusing the hair with needed moisture afterward while leaving the hair sleek and smooth and smelling amazing. I just can't help but feel it's all a bit overpriced for the average customer, and that stings a bit.

They are especially well known for their line of shampoos/conditioners based on hair type as well. Few companies bother with such, but, there really is a real difference in the needs and the subsequent products. I've used the fine hair formulation, and quite liked it, but, not quite as much on balance for cost vs quality as just getting the single-bottle detox shampoo in a pinch. Still though, if you're struggling to find a product that works, I do highly recommend trying such out. It's amazing the difference that just using something made for your hair type can make.

I have used their shampoo and conditioner for about a year. As I was trying to place a new order on their website, they kept cancelling it. When I contacted them, they responded the following :

Nothing more, nothing less. This is crazy. I am actually glad they « blocked » me from purchasing their products since I realized they made my hair extra oily. I could not explain why they were so oily until I stopped using OUAI.

Nothing smells better than ouai. The only complaint I have is that they don't have a co-wash so PLEASE come out with one! Their shampoo for fine hair is my absolute favorite, I also love their body scrub, and leave in hair oil. It all smells incredible and I literally can't wait to shower every morning.

The product works well. I did feel the conditioner made my hair feel softer.. However, I hate the smell of it. Smells like chemicals only. 

I wish I didn’t love this brand so much because it is TOO expensive! I particularly love the wave spray and leave in conditioner. Works perfectly for my thick wavy hair.
