Oishii strawberries are next-level. They’re insanely sweet, juicy, and feel more like dessert than fruit. It’s a total luxury, but the quality is unmatched. If you’re going to splurge on produce, this is it. The packaging is gorgeous too.

I think everybody should try these berries at least once as a luxury experience. I purchased a six-pack and split them with a friend -- I don't know if the berries were "worth the cost" as a repeat purchase, but they were worth the cost if you consider this an experience and not just eating a snack. Each berry was extremely juicy and sweet, like how a strawberry seems like it should taste in your dreams.

The packaging is beautiful and they look so pretty. That's why I picked them up to try, but I was quite disappointed. Although some were nicely sweet, I feel that for the cost and quantity, they should be way more sweet or simply better. It's an overpriced experience.
Because the price is high ($30 for 6 berries) I went in with high expectations. The berry is definitely better than normal grocery store strawberries that don't taste like anything, but it's not as good as a wild or farmer's market strawberry. I loved the presentation and experience felt very special but ultimately I wasn't that impressed by the fruit itself. Even though I did eat them all, I wouldn't buy them again.

Maybe explore how to get closer to the tart flavor of wild strawberries? I think right now these are more of a novelty than a realistic repeat purchase.
Oishii strawberries definitely embody the saying that fruit is nature's candy! These berries are much more than your average grocery store fruit. They're delightfully ripe and fragrant, reminiscent of fruit you would find in East Asia that has been ripened to perfection in greenhouses. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Yakitori Torishin, a famed Michelin starred (2012-2018) restaurant in NYC, served Oishii berries as part of their omakase dessert course! The product is quite expensive though so it's definitely a treat for a special occasion. I probably wouldn't purchase more than once a year.

As you can see from the picture (view attached image) these are not cheap strawberries. I initially thought that they were from Japan due to the name "oishii" which roughly means "delicious" in Japanese. That was the main allure for me, despite their high price. They're also aesthetically pleasing. As someone who will eat around bruises and cut around weird dents on fruit, these are perfect for me. I don't remember them being particularly sweet, but I love strawberries so it was fine.

I really had high hopes for these based on the price, but they really were not all that different from regular strawberries. There was nothing unique about the experience. They were good, because they were strawberries, but they still were just strawberries.

I wish they had a more distinct or interesting flavor. I can't imagine that anyone would ever be a repeat purchaser, because once you've tried them, you will realize there is no need to spend that much when you can buy regular strawberries.
These berries were actually amazing. I found them at a steep discount at a Whole Foods outside NYC and thought, this would be the time to try them! Shared them with my family and it was a fun novel experience that we likely won't do again.
I heard good things about these and picked them up when I saw them at a concept shop in NYC a few years ago. Great snack to pick up and obviously they were good, but I am not sure I would totally prefer them over going to the farmers market. Would buy them again though :)
they were sweet and ripe, but doesn't taste that much different than normal strawberries
Good, but I've had strawberries that were at least as good for a lot lot less! I do appreciate that they are much more reliable than other strawberries.
I tried out these berries and it was absolutely delicious. Right when you open the package you spell the strawberry fragrance which is very sweet and refreshing. When you bite onto it very nice juice comes out and the texture is just perfect. For one strawberry it might be a bit costly to consume in a daily basis but it’s nice for a gift and for something to treat yourself occasionally!
Tried but was not convinced - why so much packaging for 8 strawberries? OK, they are good vs the other type of strawberries you can find in America (full of GMO) but... what is the purpose?

The berries were perfectly shaped, and the packaging is a clean aesthetic. But I confess I was a bit disappointed with the flavor: pleasant, sweet, but overall a bit flat and one-note. It made me think of grocery-store-bought strawberries, and for those, these are the best. But given the price, I was hoping for a bit more complex, tart flavor like one gets from good freshly-picked ones.

Stronger flavor for the price.

Was it one of the best strawberries I've ever had? Probably, do I need to buy it again? No. But if you have the chance to try one of these I recommend you do.

Very interesting product story with the indoor vertical strawberry farm. It tastes like a pretty normal, perfectly fresh and ripe strawberry. It isn't overly tart or overly sweet, it tastes just fresh. The packaging is beautiful, and the unboxing experience is definitely luxe and lovely! Each strawberry is cradled in a thin vacuum-sealed pocket, so it is beautifully unbruised and red. Upon opening, there is a very very fragrant fresh strawberry smell. The price is steep, but definitely is part of the whole "luxe" product branding and experience. The packaging and price definitely makes you savor it and slow down, so it is a pleasant experience to share. For those who were disappointed, I understand that the general hype around these has raised expectations for what these should taste like. (I think people are expecting a sweeter strawberry like those little wild strawberries.) I would say it doesn't say it will be more than what it is. A fantastic little anytime gift for a loved one.
underwhelming and incredibly expensive!!!!!!

quality of the berries, packaging, and price
The strawberries were really good and red inside and out. But the price is too expensive to purchase regularly.

Make them not so much money.
The berries ARE beautiful, and the smell hits you like a ton of bricks but in the most pleasant way. It smells like freshly picked berries in the summer. Let them come to room temperature and you'll smell it before you can taste it. The quality of the berries = excellent, however, the pricing for the berries is kind of ridiculous and overkill. It's a good berry for a treat, but Harry's Berries and some other ones are more worth the price and sweetness.

These are among the best berries I've had in America, but not quite worth the price tag :/
