  • Aromatic, robust sesame oil
  • Crunchy, umami-packed chili crunch
  • Springy, air-dried noodle texture
  • Elegant, giftable packaging
  • Mild, underpowered noodle sauces
  • Overly salty sauce packets
  • Oily, overpowering seasonings
  • Small, less-filling portions

Momofuku earns strong reviews for flavorful condiments and well-textured, air‑dried noodles, indicating the brand is good—especially its Chili Crunch, soy sauce, tamari, and seasoned salts—while critiques cite bland or overly salty noodle sauces, small portions, and occasional overpowering seasonings. Reviews also note standout packaging and easy meal upgrades, but some find the ramen underwhelming without add‑ins and certain sauces too oily or intense.

  • These actually turned out really well! They’re especially nice if you top the finished product with something fresh of your own, like an egg or some veggies. Otherwise, they do a great job of adding a certain degree of restaurant quality to a packaged Ramen.

  • Momofuku Soy and Scallion Noodles are an absolute game-changer for quick, delicious meals! The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the soy and scallion sauce is packed with bold, savory flavors that taste like it came straight from a gourmet kitchen. They’re so easy to make and versatile—I love adding veggies, a fried egg, or protein to take them to the next level. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and it’s amazing to have such a satisfying meal ready in minutes. If you’re looking for elevated instant noodles with incredible flavor, Momofuku Soy and Scallion Noodles are a must-try. Highly recommend!

  • DELICIOUS quick meal. I was highly impressed by the flavor of a fast packaged meal. I added some chicken and veggies to my noodles and make it feel like a very fancy meal.

  • Not for the weak palette! If you don’t like spicy food I wouldn’t try these. I ordered a variety bundle so we could try all of the noodle flavors, plus the chili crunch, seasoning salt, and soy sauce. The soy sauce was great. I use the seasoning salt in a lot of meals over vegetables. But the chili crunch and all of the noodle flavors are just so spicy it’s almost difficult to eat. I think I was just surprised to see that every flavor is spicy; not a single mild option. We will use less of the sauce pack to help reduce the heat, but it then verges on no sauce and having to substitute for flavoring, so really we are just using the noodles. I also feel like a lot of them taste the same and are pretty salty. Maybe that’s just because they are all so spicy to me that it’s impossible to distinguish a difference? Sadly I will not be buying these again because they are so easy to make and much better quality than classic pre-packaged ramen from the store.

  • I like the soy and scallion noodles. To me, these noodles feel like fancy gourmet instant noodles. Great flavor and good consistency of noodles. I will say, the sauce can make the noodles a little too saucy where they can get soggy quickly. But still super yummy. I made these noodles a lot when I lived in the dorms at college and my friends would always ask to try them because they smelled so good!

  • The Chili Crunch is one of my favorite things. Putting this on pizza or eggs especially is just ~so good~. I also really like their Soy & Scallion Noodles. They're really simple, and you know exactly what you're going to get.

  • This is a review for the instant noodles! They are instant noodles with a packet of yummy sauce. That is it. It is a good base for a meal. I tried all three. If you are looking for an elevated and easy way to start a quick meal (start, because you need to add things) then you may like this! But you may just want to stick to a lower priced brand.

  • I've tried the both the seasoned salts and the sauces. The salts are good, but I don't find I use them enough to be worth keeping in the pantry. They aren't a 1:1 replacement for things, so I end up going out of my way to use figure out how to use them up. The sauces are, at least as far as I can tell, really high quality, and I'll keep their soy sauce, tamari, and sesame oil in my pantry as long as they keep making them.

I really trust Momofuku to bring high quality ingredients that I couldn't really evaluate for myself in the grocery store (at least, I hope I can trust them), so I was really excited for their "restaurant grade" sauces. I would like to see them bring more 'harder to find' ingredients to the market, to make cooking with Asian flavors more accessible without having to rely on pre-made mixes and such. I think I'd like to see Momofuku sell miso paste, gochujang, mirin, rice wine vinegar, and other ingredients like that.

  • I love to add these to soups. Such a tasty and easy way to add depth and substance to your cooking. I find the ingredients to be good too.

  • I like how the noodles are not fried and have a good texture but do take a while to cook. The flavors are okay.

  • The Chili Crunch is a savory, not that spicy condiment that adds flavor to all kinds of meals. It's not my favorite chili crunch out there, but it's a solid option. I appreciate that it's vegan and has lots of depth without MSG.

  • Obsessed. The tingly chili flavor of the noodles is the best. So easy to use this as a base for a quick snack or full meal. I use the chili crisp on everything.

  • Great flavors and interesting products. Instant noodles are quick and easy to prepare though sometimes could be spicier

  • Wish it was easier to find in stores. Really loved this Tamari…not too salty and had a good depth of flavor.

  • I love their Soy & Scallion Noodles. Chef Chang totally leveled up the taste of ramen noodles without getting rid of the authentic packaging and cooking experience. As a college student, I feel that much better making these for dinner over a regular ramen package. I prefer the soy and scallion taste to the artificial 'chicken' or 'shrimp' flavors typically sold for ramen. He nailed it!

  • I love Momofuku's condiments and ramen noodles. The Soy and Scallion are my favorite of their noodles, and I love how quick and easy they are to make. I have used all of their liquids and having all of the little bottles lined up on my counter while cooking always brings a smile to my face. The one thing I wish they came back with in bottle form would be their ssam sauce.

  • Soy sauces and chili crisp are good! I used go to specialty east asian food shops for these condiments but this is available in lots of stores in SF/NY/LA. My one qualm is that while more widely available, they are more expensive but not necessarily orders of magnitude better to justify the price.

  • I'll just put this out there again for anyone that needs to hear it. Put things in nice packaging and take my mfing money. I want things to be expensive so I can feel like a king when I make my nasty little dinner. The product is obviously gas, but like the stuff at the Asian markets in like dollar store packaging is also great, but its all about how you feel when you use it. This makes me enjoy cooking more like ratatouille.
