My shearling vest is just as good now as it was 15 years ago (when it was my mothers’ 😂). I’ve never had a bad experience with Patagonia and their stuff lasts forever.

Really cool concept and technology that preserves the tasting notes of coffee. The coffees I’ve gotten have all been delicious and cafe-quality, with minimal effort. Like even less effort than making coffee at home. But it IS more expensive, so I did end up cancelling, especially as the amount of packaging it came with every shipment. I know you need the dry ice to keep the coffee frozen, but I think they could innovate on the packaging to use less materials. Maybe they’ll have corporate subscriptions in the future? I think targeting offices could reduce the amount of waste since they could ship more pods with less packaging (plus, office coffees everywhere really need an upgrade.)

I like how many flavors they have! It tastes very decadent, but still feels healthy-ish. Because it has coconut oil, it has a truffle texture when warmer and firmer texture when kept in the fridge.

I bought this because the packaging looked really cute and I was craving sour gummies. The texture isn’t completely like a traditional gummy - it’s more soft and might stick to your teeth a little, so I keep them in the fridge. On the plus side, it doesn’t give me the same sugar crash as regular gummies. I do think it’s quite expensive for how much product is in a bag though.

The smoothest-texture bean-based pasta I’ve tried. While you can definitely tell it’s not a traditional flour pasta, it doesn’t taste too bean-y. I always go for this brand when I want a higher protein pasta option.

I love my candle. The flavor profile is pretty complex without being cloying, it has a very long burn time, and the scent diffuses well in my home. I also like the minimalist white jar it comes in (I think they updated their jar options recently and mine has the new jar.) Overall, I think it’s a very high quality candle at a good price (I got mine on the thingdrop, but will be ordering more of the 2231 blend.) However, I have a few problems with the quiz: - While it’s touted as AI, it just seems to be a simple quiz giving answers from a select list of options. I don’t think there’s that many candle options. - I tried to filter out vanilla by adding that ingredient to the list of scents i didn’t want to include, but a lot of my matches also included vanilla. So I had to double check the recommendations to make sure my candle did not in fact have any. - I wish they just named the candles what they smelled like. “Blend 2231” is hard to remember and doesn’t tell me anything - why not just put the notes or the subtitle “zesty citrus” front and center instead? - I wish I could browse through all the candle options from a list too.

For products marketed as affordable luxury, it’s actually not that good quality. I think it’s actually expensive for the quality, compared for something that’ll last longer. I will say that certain items are great - eg backpack (mine has nice construction and many pockets), some shirts, and certain basics - so I guess it really depends on what you are looking for! Recommend going to the store to check quality in person since some things, like shoes, can be a lot more uncomfortable or heavier than they appear.

Soy sauces and chili crisp are good! I used go to specialty east asian food shops for these condiments but this is available in lots of stores in SF/NY/LA. My one qualm is that while more widely available, they are more expensive but not necessarily orders of magnitude better to justify the price.

Love the flavors and cute packaging. There’s so many sparkling waters or teas on the shelves these days so while this one is tasty, I don’t buy it that often. I do like that it’s not sweetened.

It tastes good, and I love the different flavors and the fact that it’s unsweetened (unlike many other spirit alternatives). I usually have it with sparkling water and a fruit or cucumber. While it has lots of botanicals like gin, it obviously doesn’t taste exactly the same, so keep an open mind when trying.
