Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

I loved this cereal until I switched my diet to a plant-based one. All of the cereals eventually taste the same after a while due to that sugar substitute they use! I may be inlined to buy again if it was sold in stores.
I tried a few different flavors as we were excited to try a high-protein breakfast cereal. Overall there was consistently an after taste that was unpleasant. Very appealing packaging and flavor options but they didn't work for me.
Feedback
The initial taste from the products I tried were pretty much as described but there was a lingering after taste that I didn't enjoy. I also to expensive for something that doesn't taste great to me. I prefer to just make my own low carb granola and use it as cereal with protein powder.

Good taste and health benefits but on the pricier side.
I love how Magic Spoon is a more flavorful version of "healthy" cereal. I also like the variety of flavors and the bundling options!
Feedback
While the cereals do have that protein-y aftertaste, I didn't mind it so much and found it less than the aftertaste of typical protein products.

Decent cereal, bit of a weird texture. Tried their sampler and it was okay... Not sticking to it though.
I have only tried the cocoa and fruity flavors. I really enjoyed them. The cocoa flavor in particular is remarkably similar to the flavor of cocopebbles. The macros are great, particularly considering this is not a food you NEED but we often "can't" have because of whatever diet we're following (e.g. training for a competition).

It is not particularly satiating long-term, it's more of a snack if anything, given you don't load up on caloric or sugar-laden milk or milk-alternatives.
I tried this sampler pack complimentary thanks to Magic Spoon and Stack Influence; however, this review is my opinion. I've heard about Magic Spoon on Instagram, mainly from influencers. I've wanted to try it, but I'm a casual cereal eater, so it's not high on my wish list. I think the portions are a great size, and I love that these cereals don't have a crazy amount of sugar or carbs like traditional cereals. I think the price per cup could be better, but it's a good value as a treat. Some flavors are better than others; my favorite is Fruity and Cocoa. My least favorite is the Frosty and Peanut Butter ones. My GF is a fan of cereals, and he liked the Cocoa one the best. If you're someone who enjoys eating cereal but you want a healthier option, then yes, I would go for Magic Spoon. These could also be an excellent option if you're not a big chocolate/sweets person but want something different to snack on.

I do think the customer service could be improved and more responsive. Also, I think the texture is too dense for personal taste.
This cereal is pretty tasty, and is very helpful when I want something a little sweet and boost my protein at the end of the day.
Feedback
The cereal sticks to your teeth a little, which is a bit annoying.

I was not a big fan of the product - I feel for a trial thanks to many podcasts encouraging it but at the end of the day the its way too expensive for what the product is.
Feedback
Not worth the money or the carbon used to ship.
Decent cereal with desirable ingredients and macros. Rather just splurge for the real deal though

More limited edition fun flavors
Nasty! Bitter Aftertaste - ended up throwing it away and getting a refund because I couldn't choke it down. Huge let down

stop spending so much time on packaging and advertising and make something that tastes good!
No.
I love Magic Spoon. It’s the only low carb cereal I’ve tried so far that doesn’t taste gross. In fact, it tastes good. It’s expensive but worth it if you have a hankering for a sweet treat while on a low carb (keto) diet.
Feedback
Expensive. Sticks to teeth a bit.

I like the protein content in theory, but the flavors just aren't there. The texture is meh and the taste is just way too off to justify the high price point. I think they could use a reformulation because I've tried several varieties at this point and they've all had the same issue.

Meh. I love traditional breakfast cereal and don't find the higher protein content in this cereal to be particularly satiating. The branding is super fun but I wouldn't call the cereal worth the price or the hype.
Ew. Ew ew ew ew ew ew. Like blended cardboard with a absolutely horrendous price point
I'm a professed cereal addict, but was unable to try Magic Spoon because I don't consume dairy and their main ingredient is whey. I was delighted to find that the version currently being stocked at Whole Foods is dairy-free. I tried the chocolate flavor and have to admit I was impressed. I found the cereal to have a better texture and after taste than the leading competitor. Another huge win is that the cereal actually "stains" the milk and gives it a delicious chocolatey taste; which most healthy cereals don't. Of course, it's expensive and there are obvious taste/texture trade offs vs. traditional cereal, but in my books the Whole Foods/dairy free version is a solid product!
This is a great high-protein cereal, for snacking or eating with milk/yogurt. I have no issues with the texture or after taste. While the price is slightly higher than regular cereal, the macros make this worthwhile. My personal fave is the maple flavor
I LOVE breakfast cereal, but I think being raised in a house where we could eat all the sugary cereals spoiled all of these modern, protein-enhanced, clean cereals for me. All that to say, I don't hate Magic Spoon, but it's not my favorite. There's something about the taste that isn't for me. And while I don't buy Lucky Charms or Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the regular, I tend to go for low-sugar organic cereals as opposed to the no-sugar high protein style.
I was initially really excited about trying a high-protein cereal, and the brownie edition looks cool and tastes decent (granted, it does taste strongly of sugar substitute flavor...), but I consistently get hungry like 20 minutes after demolishing a bowl of it. Could be a personal issue, but the product doesn't work for me, personally.
