Reviews mention

  • Breathable silk fabric drape
  • Luxurious, washable silk construction
  • Elegant colors and minimalist design
  • Comfortable, giftable sleep masks
  • Inconsistent, unpredictable size grading
  • Wrinkles after washing and drying
  • Pilling on modal intimates
  • Delicate seams and strap durability

Lunya earns positive reviews for ultra-comfortable, elegant loungewear—especially its washable silk pajamas and sleep masks, which many say wash well, feel breathable, and make standout gifts—yet reviews also flag inconsistent sizing, fabric durability issues (pilling, seams, rough cotton), and pieces that wrinkle or feel delicate. Overall, Lunya is good for luxe-feeling sleep sets and masks, but buyers should note variable fits, occasional short shorts, and mixed quality in cotton and modal lines.

  • I currently have quite a few cotton and modal items from Lunya. My oldest item is the organic pima long cardigan that my spouse gifted me 3ish years ago. I always machine wash it on cold and then dry it flat so I can’t speak to how well it would hold up if popped in the dryer but mine still looks brand new. No snags, fading or pilling and it’s still super soft and cozy. My other clothing items are also still in great condition. I don’t care for the silk sleep mask though. It’s cushy and looks beautiful but I have a truly average size head/face and it is so tight that it felt like it was slowly gouging my eyes out as I tried to sleep. The Lunya silk scrunchie is also useless. It’s very nice looking but it will not actually hold my long thick hair in any kind of pony tail and the company does not allow returns on scrunchies.

Better return policy and more size inclusive options.

  • I was sadly really underwhelmed with my Lunya order! I think there was a disconnect between what I pictured I was getting based on the site visuals and what I was shipped. I got an organic cotton long cardigan/robe and I thought it would be smoother but it was more of a rough fabric than I thought it would be.

I would love maybe some close ups on what the fabric looks like or customer photos to get a better sense of it since it's expensive if you don't get what you're hoping for.

  • I love the luna pajamas. I have the silk short and tee's and then I also bought a cotton boxer set. They are stylish and comfortable, and honestly the only type of pajamas I will purchase for myself. They are pricey, which is probably the only bad thing I have to say, but I always try to find sales because they are absolutely worth it.

  • CUTEST SLEEP WEAR EVER!! SO SO COMFY. LOVE.

  • Love my Lunya sleepwear. Super comfortable and I bring my sleepwear whenever I travel now.

  • I bought their Soft Modal Rib Tee Short Set from a ThingDrop years ago, and it's still to this day my favorite set to sleep in and lounge around the house. The fabric is soft and lightweight, super stretchy, great for warm weather, and moves with your body. After that ThingDrop it prompted me to try their washable silk sets, and they're great as well. They hold up in the wash, and don't get too wrinkly like some silk sets do. I still feel they're pretty pricey but the quality does speak for it. That said, I will eventually splurge another set.

  • I have 2 pairs of Lunya sleep shorts, one is a soft cotton and the other is a knit. I love them both! The cotton ones are very soft and the elastic band is fitted but doesn't cut into me and create an uncomfortable feeling muffin top, it's like it has enough stretch but not too tight. The knit shorts are also nice. I've had them for about 6 months now and there is no pilling and still so soft! I got these on a discount from an outlet store, the regular price does give me pause but if you can find them on a good deal, they're worth it!

  • I have the Soft Modal Rib Tee Short Set, and I love the color. I wear the shirt all of the time. I only knocked off a star because the shorts were a little too small for me.

  • I loved branding, concept and the pictures on their web. Unfortunately the quality and fits were just underwhelming. The seams wore out super fast and the fabric lost its softness after a few washes. The prices are just too high for the made in China quality it is.

  • At first I was very hesitant to order such a pricey pajama, but let me tell you, it is worth it. I am a hot sleeper and this modal fabric is wonderful. The top is fitted while the bottoms are oversized, but I would still stay true to your usual size so they don't fall off. Anyway, the fabric (modal fabric) is breathable, stretchy, cool (Temp wise), and so comfortable. The only thing better than the amazing PJs? The customer service. It is TOP KNOTCH. They are responsive, helpful, offer recommendations and suggestions, and are so pleasant. I will absolutely keep coming back to this brand knowing how well they treat their customers with such a high quality product. I love my sleep set so much.

  • This review is for the Slumberknit Set. It's oversized, incredibly comfortable, and it's already become my new everyday PJ set. It's a little on the pricey side. I'll update after a few washes to see if it's worth the price tag. For now, I'm loving this new set.

  • Purchased the Soft Modal Rib Tee Short Set from a Thingdrop - it's soft and a pretty green hue, but didn't feel like it was worth the already discounted, but still pricey cost for the set.

  • I like the style. The set I purchased was comfy and beautiful, just as expected. Love the machine washable silk materials- saved all the dry cleaning!

Overall the value is ok but not that great. It doesn't last as long as what you'd expect, but I guess it's good- you can get a new piece!

  • Love my Luna set! The material is so soft and cozy. The fit is flattering and the deep green color is gorgeous!

  • Opted for the slumberknit after the Thingdrop set was backordered. I LOVE IT. So much that I asked for Lunya gift cards for Christmas. I've washed this set quite a bit and the set gets better and better. Definitely worth the splurge.

  • These are by far my favorite pajamas ever. I wash and wear them continually. None of my other pajamas will do anymore! The fabric is perfect. Nice weight, beautiful luster, and still looks fabulous after more than a year of constant machine washing. I feel comfortable in these to sleep in and wear around the house, but not at all frumpy... just sexy + cute enough for everyday. The price is steep but if you can swing it, totally worth it!

  • Way too expensive, especially the cotton items marketed as “cotton silk.” The silk eye masks are the best on the market and I’ve bought them so far for at least 6 people as gifts. This company would benefit from pricing and marketing transparency.

  • I have two sets of pajamas from Lunya — one is the Restore Pima set and the other is the washable silk. Both sets are super comfy, although the shorts of the washable silk set can feel a little racy given how short they are. My absolute favorite item from Lunya is the modal sleep bralette. It pills like crazy, but I don’t even care because it’s so damn comfortable. The sleep bra got me through pregnancy — I loved and wore it so much that my sister bought me three more for my birthday.

A slightly more modest washable silk short would probably increase my wear. Also the pilling on the modal intimates!

  • I ordered a set off of rhingdrop but they had run out of stock and immediately offered me an alternative. I’m obsessed with the set. It’s soft, comfy, and cute!
