I'm a Quince evangelist. I own quite a few things from the brand and have gifted or recommended their products to many. I think a lot of their clothes trend taller in length and they don't have anything petite, which is why you should read the reviews thoroughly, or order things to try them if you're not sure. I'd love for them to offer some products in petites. - I love their silk products, although I still don't machine wash them because I'd like to have them for a while. A lot of their dresses have pockets, which is great.T - Their leather is also really nice. My partner and I both have the leather Apple Watch straps and I get compliments on them a lot. I also got the Italian leather tote, which is a pretty good dupe for the Carl Friedrik Ashby tote, and really liked it. The leather was really nice and the nylon interior was easy to clean off. I only upgraded because I'm a mess and needed a bag with a zipper on the top.

TL;DR I'll talk about glasses, eye exams, and daily contacts. I've been a customer for 10 years now. I started with the home try on and ordering glasses that are much more stylish and fairly priced than other options. Their sunglasses don't yet have the same amount of options but I think that's changing over time. In the past year I also started using their Scout dailies and getting my eye exams there. The dailies are solid as far as dailies go. Other brands are usually like $1000+ šŸ¤‘ because they're all a scam, and you have to get a second bedroom to store all of the boxes for a year's worth. The Scout dailies have like 1/4 of the packaging, which means you can store extras in your bag, in your office, even in your wallet since they're so flat. This cuts down on the price by at least half and makes them more sustainable. The eye doctor was great. As a disclaimer, my eyes are not sensitive and I can put contacts in without a mirror. But that damn glaucoma air puff machine scares the crap out of me every time. I haven't been able to do it in 5 years. The Warby Parker eye doctor has an alternative test and didn't make me ashamed for not being able to withstand casual torture. That was ideal. It would be great if WP helped customers learn more about how to recycle and what is recyclable. Or if they offered Terracycle or some sort of empties service so you didn't have to schlep around looking for a place to recycle. I've done some research and I think that if done properly both your packaging and your contacts (ā—ļø) are recyclable. I've been wearing contacts for 20 years and I had no idea. Lastly their customer agents are always great and helpful, and as someone who's worked in support/success and is very picky about CX, their offerings are some of the best/easiest.

All Amika products smell amazing, specifically the masks and dry shampoo. They also work super well. I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos — Batiste, Crown Affair, Vegamour, Lush, Eva NYC, Not Your Mother’s, and a few I’ve forgotten I’m sure — and Amika is still at the top of the list because of smell and efficacy. I also bought the hair fragrance back in 2017, that’s how much I loved it.šŸ¤‘ I have dark, thick hair so I’m not sure what the products are like for blondes.

Go-to snack at work since they sell the single serve packs in our cafes. Love the chocolate and snickerdoodle flavors, and that they’re good for sweet cravings but actually really low on sugar, and don’t have any fake crap in them.

Pricey when not discounted but great for freezing or storing leftovers, snacks, dog food, anything. I’ve frozen cooked rice or quinoa to reheat later, soups, other meals, and even water to use as an ice pack. They’re dishwasher safe, which is great. Great for travel or work lunches. I know they can be used for sous vide. I recently learned you can use the big ones to make popcorn in the microwave and 🤯

I upgrade to the Luxe King before my husband moved in. We were sleeping happily with two 70-90 lb dogs and sometimes a little cat. My partner is 6’2 and I’m 5’2 and I sleep with a body pillow the size of me. This is a great mattress for couples, especially if one person has insomnia and tosses and turns a lot. It’s also great if you have a dog, hypothetically, who launches himself off of the bed to pounce on an unsuspecting cat doing zoomies 5 feet away. Very little motion transfer. Not too firm and not too soft. And I have fibromyalgia so I’m fussier than most people. The free pillows are good too, although they flattened in less than a year.

I live in the most *intense* city in the world. People here are smart af. But we’re also stressed af. DC is a lot. I’m Type-A, I work at a nonprofit, I care deeply about the world and the state of politics in this country. And I have anxiety. I’m sure that was implied but whatever. I’ve cut down on drinking a ton — not because it was a problem — I noticed I was using it as a cue to stop working for the day — to check out. I tried making non alcoholic Aperol spritzes instead or adding edible drink glitter to alcohol free seltzer (12/10 would recommend btw) to do this but then found Cann. THC usually gives me too much anxiety at higher doses. Cann has just enough. Drinking it after work allows me to have a chill evening. Much less anxiety in the late evening, much less anxiety before bed. Some days I’m even able to skip a prescription sleep med or anxiety med. I also wonder if it’s helping with my fibromyalgia because I feel much less random nerve pain. It’s unfortunate that people with security clearance can’t drink these because they’d really benefit. If you have a high tolerance, you’ll need to buy the Hi Boys. If you’re like me, the smaller cans are fine. If you’re not sure, try half of a small can one night and then take the other half the next night.

Cost is kind of high but they’re very useful. I’m glad they made other sizes because sometimes you need more for longer trips or certain items. The magnetic labels are chaotic and seem to fall off all the time but I wonder if that’s just how it’ll be since they’re magnetic containers: dropping them makes them weaker. Shout out to my 6th grade science teacher for burning that into my brain! (Don’t worry, I also googled this and confirmed it’s a thing because 6th grade was a long time ago.) I guess a lingering question about Cadence that I have is: how long will these little guys stay magnetized over time: 1) if you don’t drop them, they just knock together while traveling; and 2) if you’re a chaos muppet prone to dropping things? If these demagnetize before 3-5 years, I’m gonna need a discount to reorder. Also do they recycle old ones? Gonna have to Google more now.

I’ve converted my skincare regimen to almost entirely Cocokind products. My favorites are the ceramide serum and the polypeptide moisturizer. The moisturizer is super thick and healing, which is great for anyone with hormonal skin. I appreciate the brand’s dedication the price transparency and that their marketing isn’t overdone or overwhelming.

This popcorn is a problem. On one hand, it’s delicious, especially the sweet flavors. On the other hand, this popcorn is how I learned my stomach can’t handle sucralose (Splenda). The best flavors, Vanilla Cake Pop, Salted Caramel, and Chocolate Mint, contain enough sucralose to make me feel sick for a day. The savory flavors are also good but there aren’t enough options to justify buying refills very often.
