Reviews mention

  • Creamy, satisfying cheese sauce
  • Al dente, springy noodles
  • High‑protein, fiber‑rich formulation
  • Playful, distinctive flavor variety
  • Inconsistent, muted flavor execution
  • Salty, high‑sodium sauce
  • Small, unsatisfying portions
  • Occasional digestive discomfort reports

GOODLES earns strong reviews as a tastier, higher‑protein, high‑fiber upgrade to classic boxed mac and cheese, with many praising creamy, cheesy flavors (Shella Good, Cheddy Mac, Twist My Parm, Down The Hatch) and al dente noodles. However, reviews flag inconsistent flavor execution (especially Cacio e Pepe and some vegan options), occasional watery or bland sauces, high sodium, small portions, and reports of stomach discomfort; shoppers who prioritize nutrition over pure nostalgia find it a compelling pantry staple, while purists may prefer Annie’s or Kraft.

  • Having goodles in your pantry is a luxury it is delicious and so good for you since actually have good ingredients that are good for you such as protein. It was my first time trying there products and did not decepoint!

  • Goodles is better than any other boxed mac and cheese I've tried. I like that it has higher protein and fiber and makes a few gluten-free versions. It tastes richer, more "real" and more sophisticated than most I've tried. It's a crowd pleaser.

  • My Mac and Cheese brand of choice! Tastes great, love the variety of flavors. Sometimes I go vegan and gluten free just for fun and those are good too! Also allegedly glyphosate free unlike some other protein Mac and Cheese brands....................

  • Goodles mac was an easy to cook pasta. I didn't notice much that this was high protein pasta made with chickpeas. The pasta alone tastes like normal and the texture is similar but slightly chewier than normal pasta. I love how easy it was to make and how creamy the sauce was. I tried the Cheddy Mac gluten free flavor. One thing I'll say is that it doesn't reheat well. It only tastes good fresh.

  • I love this brand - I buy it regularly for my family at Costco. My (picky) son loves the flavors and happily eats this in rotation with Annie's mac & cheese. However, I am pretty sensitive to the type of fiber they are using so notice some discomfort after eating!

  • The vegan Mac and cheese is the best tasting vegan boxed Mac and cheese I’ve ever had, and I have tried many. How they are able to make it taste so good and include nutrients and protein, I’m not sure, but I’m not asking.

  • As a girl always on the lookout for healthier options of my favorite foods I was very excited to try Goodles. I don’t know what my expectations were but this pasta tasted exactly like wakymak, tasting like my childhood but filled with good for you ingredients. There are so many ways to prep air it. It’s super easy to make like regular pasta but you can add chopped veggies, swap an egg for the milk and make an extra creamy high protein version, the Opportunities are endless. I highly recommend.

  • My favorite boxed mac and cheese I have ever tried! The best flavor is twist my parm. It has added nutrients and benefits, but also tastes sooo good. I like to add chicken sausage and spinach sometimes too.

  • These are so good. If you're like me and want one box as one meal this is a better serving size than kraft and I don't hate myself after eating it. I've been eating these for years as my preferred mac and converted some friends too.

  • We love a good boxed Mac n Cheese in my household. This was super easy and convenient to make. It took no time at all. I really enjoyed the Cacio E Pepe flavor but was also impressed with the protein and fiber content. I like that it has the added benefits and wasn’t just all carbs and sugar. It has a really creamy taste with a nice kick of cracked pepper. I would definitely buy this again.

  • They taste great and I love that they're vegan! However, the portion size is a little weird. One box is a little too big for one meal but too small for two meals. I wish they would make them smaller or larger.

  • Goodles gluten free pasta is a good product. It contains protein and fiber so it’s a better for you pasta. The texture was a bit different and took longer for me to cook. Once I mixed it with sauce it was like any other pasta. It was good for me because I regularly eat gluten free pasta but it might not be for everyone.

  • Goodles is a great alternative to traditional "from a box" mac and cheese. I tried the "Twist My Parm" flavor and it was so good. It cooked up quickly and easily and had a nice, delicate flavor profile. I would definitely buy this again but I'm looking forward to trying one of their new, unique flavors, especially the elote version. I also have the "Vegan is Belivin" flavor in my cabinet and I'm looking forward to giving that one a try soon. The price, per box, was very reasonable, as well. I found Goodles in my local Target of all places but it should also be available in traditional grocery stores.

  • I love that this brand creates macaroni that has a lot of protein in it while expanding with a variety of flavors. The price of this is a little higher, but it's worth it for the protein content alone. Each flavor I've tried has also been an absolute knockout winner. The pasta noodles from the brand are also great as well with the high protein content, but the price for them is a little high.

  • We love Goodles in our house! I like to use the plain noodles for buttered noodles and the flavored boxes for weekday lunches. I appreciate the flavor variety and the fact that they are in so many stores like Target, Costco, and Walmart now, as opposed to only being able to order online previously!

  • Goodles is all around great. They’ve really done well as a healthier boxed macaroni and cheese brand, better than other brands I’ve seen in the same market. Have tried a few flavors and they’re all good. Easy to make too.

  • Made this for my boyfriend once in December and he's been asking me for it ever since. You know it's good when he's still thinking about it months later. We saw a variety pack at Costco and my bf basically pounced at it when he realized what it was and added it to our cart. So now we're stocker up. We like that for mac and cheese, it has a good amount of protein and a good amount of fiber, has good ingredients, and just keeps us satisfied after eating it. We recommend.

  • Big big fan of the Twist my Parm flavor. the others in the variety pack are good too, but Twist my Parm is the standout star. Not a huge fan of the cacio e pepe flavor personally, but that's not my vibe in general. The branding is really fun

  • These are really good Better-for-you (BFY) noodles. They taste a lot like your classic Kraft Mac and Cheese and the label is indeed cleaner. I mixed my noodles with shredded chicken and spinach to make a proper meal out of them. These are still an indulgence food and don’t replace complete foods. When you crave Mac and cheese, this is a better alternative to the store-bought brands. The branding is also on-point!

    Feedback

The price as others have mentioned is a sticking point, but should come down if they manage to scale.

  • First off, Goodles are super cute. The packaging is fun and I liked the size. I love that they are high protein and I honestly didn't taste it. In order of best flavors (in my own opinion) Twist my parm, cheddy mac, cacio e pepe, and then shella good. What I was most excited about with Goodles is trying the flavors you don't normally find in mac and cheese and twist my parm accomplished that for me.

    Feedback

My main feedback is that, if it's designed to share between two people, there's not quite enough noodles to do that. There's a lot for one person, but not really enough for a full meal for two. So I would say adding more noodles to it's easier to share. Overwise I enjoyed them and hope to see them in stores because I'd probably buy them again there but not online.
