I love these chargers! We keep one on our kitchen island as a standby charge cord, and I keep one in my backpack for anytime I am traveling. I recently took a cruise and brought it with me, and it was so convenient to have a long cord that reached wherever we wanted. The materials and button to reel back in the cord are super satisfying to touch and use, which is an added bonus. Also, the colorways are 11/10. I looked forward to seeing what they release next! Maybe a mini version for airplane travel? 👀 Attached is a photo of the Christmas presents we gave to friends this year, since they make thoughtful and useful gifts for any tech-savvy person in your life. I did receive a free product initially, but we have been back to buy plenty more!

I adore this brand and this product so much that I actually brought it into my online shop to sell! (Wms&Co., elevated WFH goods) Any product that takes a little bit of the everyday ugliness out of my life is an absolute game changer for me. Products that look great and function well are harder to find than they should be in the United States. I love how they can sit in your outlet retracted and then pull out only when needed. They have a nice matte finish and feel super high quality. For the price point, they're great.

So I bought this mostly out of curiosity - with the added advantage of clearing up the mess of cables under my bed. It looks cool, but is MUCH larger than I’d expected - of course I rarely read the measurements of anything, so there you go. It’s 35 W so slower than my existing charger. However as I use it to charge my phone over night that’s fine. The 3 stars is mostly due to the cost: it’s a fun product, but not worth the price.

These were a huge hit as Christmas gifts. The colors are stylish and everyone loved their portability, as well as the ability to look super stylish if just left in a home outlet. The retractable card is very satisfying and its best feature. Yes, they're a little big, but also so what - they're also not huge. Having no cords dangling and sitting out is such a better way to make your space look good. Tidy, modern and cool.

Love this charger! It's not ugly, so I don't mind having it in a visible outlet all the time, and the cord doesn't get in the way since it's retractable. The mechanism is really easy to use and functions well without getting stuck, just press the center of the charger and the cord pulls in. I have a few other retractable chargers that get stuck and are really annoying to retract. It is a little large, a little bigger than the palm of my hand, but I still use one for travel and really like it. At $44 it's a little pricey, but I'm hopeful that it'll be a long lasting item that I don't need to purchase again for years.

I ordered two of these chargers, and they are great. They are slightly larger than I expected, but two fit easily on a regular outlet — you can still use the other plug, no problem. They work really well and charge fast. I think they look great, and definitely improve my countertop clutter. Will 100% be repurchasing.

I'm really happy I found Counterpart cables. I can't leave phone chargers out since my cat loves to chew on cords. Counterpart's retractable cables solved the problem, no visible cord means my cat is entirely uninterested. I love the colorways, especially the pale pink. They look very luxe and coupled with the cute packaging, would make great gifts. The retract feature works well and the only drawback I've found so far is that they are a little unstable on the outlet when the retract button is pushed.

Bought this for the retraction and so the brown would blend into my walnut dresser: worked perfectly on both fronts! I'm curious to see how long the internal springs last, and the plug is bulkier than I expected, but overall very happy.

10/10! Not only is it fun to use, it's super functional. I bought it to use in my kitchen so there is always a charger near by but it's not an eyesore and can be easily tucked away! The feel of it is super luxe, the design is really cute, and the functionality is top notch for me. It's nice to have a charger than can be short and long rather than having a million chargers for different needs. I do wish they had this is the old lightning cable but love using it for products that have USB C!

Visually stunning and functionally brilliant, this charger is perfect for travel. No more twisted and tangled cords, I just throw it in my backpack every time I travel for work (which I do frequently). The aesthetic of this product is very pleasing, you don't mind it sitting out, or plugged in. Simply push the middle of the product for the cord to automatically retract. Easy to use. Feels durable, but isn't too bulky. A consideration for a future iteration would be to compress the product as with the plug extended, the entire product measures 2.5" in depth - making it difficult to plug into tight electrical housing currently.

Solved the chord chaos in my handbag! Annoyingly, it doesn't work at my co-working space's custom desk outlets but in 99% it's a great thing to keep in your to-go bag, eg in the diaper bag. Great gift for anyone that loves being organized, or to someone who constantly steals your chords.

I love my counterpart charger. I have the white color and have my eye on the chocolate brown next. The retractable cord makes it so easy to travel with / helps maintain the chargers quality and performance.

Thanks to the ThingDrop I was able to purchase the Counterpart phone chargers. Now that all cellphones are charged using USB-C, this is nice to have at home and on the go. Material seems high quality, but is bulkier than I anticipated. I also find it quite expensive - I would not have purchased it without the discount. I will be gifting a couple as this is one of those elevated versions of something we use everyday.

This is one of those things you’re mad wasn’t invented sooner!? The design allows for the entire component to tuck into your purse, suitcase, or even pocket with ease and no snags! The cable retracts and pulls tight smoothly, and my only complaint (if any) is that I notice the 4ft cord feeling shorter than my usual 6ft charger. I’m ordering two more for my partner and my gym bag!

This is so beautifully designed. Really makes you wonder why all chargers can't be this nice and well thought out. Even the packaging it came it was pretty! I love the retractable cord, overall sleek design, variety of color options, and I really like not having to constantly wind or re-wrap the cord when I'm trying to tidy things up. The only con for me is that it's larger/bulkier than I was expecting and it's not powerful enough to charge my laptop so for travel, bring it would mean bringing two bulky chargers. For that reason, I'd probably still opt to use a simple cube/wire setup. I actually think i'll end up using it more at home - it's much nicer to look at than a pile of wires!

colors are beautiful and love the retraction! excited to use this myself and give the others as gifts. looks like the cord design will hold up better than traditional cords that tend to fray after a few months.

I was graciously gifted one of the usb-c counterpart chargers and have thoroughly enjoyed using it over the last few months. Not only does it charge quickly but it retracts into an aesthetic base and collapses into a travel friendly charger. It has helped reduce clutter on my desk by consolidating my computer, phone, headphone charger into one that hides away when not needed!

Love this little "snail" charger and its founding story. This charger has been so helpful for traveling (love the durability) and for my father with arthritis in his hand to grip easily and carry with him from room to room. I highly recommend.

Honestly such a simple mechanism but so amazingly convenient. I love that it automatically retracts so it doesn’t get tangled in my purse or create clutter when I’m not using it. Only wish is that the cord were a little longer - would definitely purchase a 10ft version if it was available.

First of all, I was very excited to see get this as it's been on my list--via Thingtesting--for a while. I love the colors, and I chose the dark green. It's a lovely matte dark green. I like the foldable plug and the cord retracts easily. I purchased them both as gifts and for myself. On the downside, it's quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be--about the twice the size. While it does fit in my hand, at about 2" thick and 3.5" wide, it fills my hand completely. I was picturing something smaller and more portable. I will use this in my home for a wall outlet, but don't think it would work well for travel or keeping in a bag for daily use.
