  • Rich, smooth vietnamese-style coffee
  • Inventive, crowd-pleasing flavor lineup
  • Convenient single-serve portability
  • Aromatic, high-quality coffee scent
  • Flimsy, tear-prone drip filters
  • Slow brewing cools the coffee
  • Inconsistent strength and bitterness
  • Waste-heavy single-use packaging

Copper Cow Coffee impresses in reviews for delivering rich, smooth Vietnamese-style pour-overs that are highly convenient for travel and everyday treats, with standout flavors like Churro, Vanilla, and Mocha and a beloved sweetened condensed milk creamer. However, reviewers cite issues with certain flavors (notably Lavender), slow or flimsy drip filters that can tear or cool the coffee, occasional bitterness or inconsistent strength, and waste-heavy single-use packaging—making it better as an indulgence than a daily ritual for some.

  • I have seen advertisements for this everywhere and finally made a purchase. I tried a sample pack and it was so easy and delicious I now have a subscription. It is so worth it and definitely saves from alternatives like starbucks!

  • I picked up Copper Cow Coffee on a whim. I was intrigued by the single serve brewing concept. It was relatively easy to put together and brew but somehow the flavors felt a little off to me. I think it was more the creamer I didn't like than the coffee. The creamer just came off a little overly sweet. Not in a Vietnamese Coffee way but in like an almost artificially sweet way.

Something about the creamer isn't working for me. I'm not a food scientist, but something about the sweetness in it isn't reading right.

  • My new favorite coffee of this year! It's a fun experience making my coffee in the am and I recommend the vanilla latte with sugar/cream.

  • I am a coffee connoisseur, and was excited to try this small batch roasted coffee. I found it pretty good, but very light and the vanilla flavor was overpowering for me. I wish they made more coffees without flavoring, because it seems like they can roast a bean well!

  • The single serve coffee kits have been really disappointing. Tastes no different than a hotel coffee with the free creamer cups they give you. It's wildly expensive for what it is. The filters also seem to fall apart and just generally not really work.

  • We tried both the Classic and Vanilla, and while we thought the beans were fine overall, we felt they lacked complexity and depth. If we saw that these were the only beans on sale, we might buy a bag, but otherwise, we tend to prefer more complex beans.

  • The coffee is good but I don’t see a benefit enough to pay more than my normal stuff. The pour over I had was cool and better than instant but one fell and my cup of coffee was ruined.

  • I've tried the classic vietnamnese coffee and it's a really fun and intentional way to brew coffee and the creamer was delicious. It does feel not super healthy for an everyday option so I will likely only be drinking this on special occasions.

  • I tried the lavender and did not enjoy it. there's little coffee that comes out of these, and it took a while to make. i think i prefer purchasing a viet iced coffee at a local cafe or restaurant over these, but i could see the appeal of the ease of having this in your home.

  • I loved the portability of these! Throw them in your bag and go to work for your easy afternoon pick-me-up at the fraction of the cost of going out to buy coffee. The flavor was good, the pour over apparatus was relatively sturdy and the packets of condensed milk that come with the coffee are good. I think you can really get two cups out of each pour over but there's not enough milk for the second cup.

  • I love the concept, makes adding single-portion condensed milk so much easier than having a whole can to open. The coffee smelled delicious the moment I opened the packet, but it didn't make as strong of a flavor as I hoped it would.

Maybe I'm pouring it wrong (in which case clearer instructions) but stronger coffee?

  • I LOVE Copper Cow coffee. Bonus points that they're available at Whole Foods for easy purchasing. I love the flavors, and the convenience of making the coffee is unbeatable.

  • Copper Cow is a fun concept for coffee. I first learned about it from social media, and was intrigued by the Vietnamese coffee and founder's story. I tried the multi-pack package with coffee and creamer, which I found at Whole Foods. The packaging makes it easy to carry with me when traveling, and it is quite easy to make in hotel rooms. The taste of black coffee alone is great, so I have not needed to use much of the creamer (very sugary!).

  • picked up the churro flavor coffee and really enjoyed it. super interesting cinnamon sugar flavor and good texture as well. it's vietnamese coffee which i find has a higher caffeine level, or at least that's what it seems like

  • Such a good and unique flavor that is totally worth the price. I think that this coffee is so good by itself and I just cannot stop ordering it! Absolutely delicious! The simple notes of cinnamon in it are what make it so good I believe.

  • Smells AMAZING! I wasn't even looking to get coffee, but when I went to whole foods I saw the single serve kits on sale, and wow the smell was amazing! I had to take some home with me, I think the name of the company is cute, and it was a great purchase.

  • Nice flavored fun brew, not bitter, good quality organic

  • I am fairly new to drip coffee and this is my first journey into pour-over. I found it easy to get th coffee brewed and really enjoyed the taste of it. I think the hint of lavender finished the coffee very nicely
