Caraway earns largely positive reviews for stylish, non-toxic ceramic cookware that heats evenly, releases food cleanly, and includes thoughtful storage like magnetic organizers and a lid holder, indicating the brand is good when cared for properly. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: exterior staining (especially light colors), nonstick that can fade over time, heavy lids and pans, occasional scratching/chipping, and some awkward sizing—making longevity and maintenance the key considerations before buying.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
The products I have purchased from Caraway are solid. I just don’t think the price is right. Caraway really markets the non-toxic element of its products, but they are not the only non-toxic kitchen product maker in town. So before you fork out all that cash, consider why you really want to buy Caraway vs a cheaper and also safe product. I bought the utensil set honestly because I liked the look, but some silicone utensils would be just as safe and probably more durable. On durability, you can see that the tip of my Caraway spatula is already burnt and a little dark after a few weeks of use. I do really like my food storage containers and the fact that I can put them directly in the oven or microwave rather than transferring food to a plate or other dish. That being said, they aren’t air tight and secure like plastic food storage containers. You really do need the strap if you want to take them outside the home. Overall, I like the products, but they are pricey.

The pans are gorgeous, but they don’t last forever (the reality of nonstick cookware). I had my pots/pans for 4 years and they were well loved. If I were to purchase again, I wouldn’t get the white/cream color since they stained and got a bit banged up on the outside. I also use the kettle everyday. It functions great and I love the design, but it’s also a bit banged up.

If I know what I know now, i'd prefer to have invested in other type of pans (stainless steel perhaps). I bought 3 pieces from Caraway in navy blue. They get dirty really easy, and you do need that sponge to clean it up. It's a shame we can't put it in the dishwasher. I must say their costumer service is amazing as well as the packaging. But still, not so happy with it overall as I thought I'd be.

I've had the baking set for almost 2 years now. It has held up beautifully. Would be a lovely gift for an avid baker, or someone moving into a new apartment/home. Recently I purchased their medium-sized cutting board, which has held up well so far and remains stable when cutting or chopping produce.

I’ve had the caraway pan set (including the minis) in blue for about a year and they held up well. Non-stick in general is notorious for not lasting long and requiring medium to low heat, but if you go in with that understanding I think they’re a great set. I haven’t experienced any chipping and there’s minimal staining except on the bottom of the pan, they’re also a breeze to wash. I hope they continue to last over time but as for right now I enjoy them greatly.

I love the look of these pans, they are also incredibly easy to cook with and clean.

However, I have only had them for two months and the outside is already stained and starting to chip. I’m concerned about their durability.

Honestly seeing some of the reviews and pictures i was skeptical. After having the pan for a month... i honestly dont know what people have done to some of their pans to get puctures like that because literally nothing sticks to these things. I purchased a single pan a month ago to test out the pan. The price point was a bit high so before I committed I wanted to make sure it was worth it. In the month I've had the pan I have cooked everything from eggs to steak to salmon skin side down and not a single thing sticks. I wanted a healthy option for cooking my food and these pans hit the mark! I absolutely love the color. Love the quality. You will def get the bang for your buck in these. They require you to care for them a bit more with storing so as not to chip the ceramic but we'll worth it. I also notice you do not need to heat your pans as hot as I normally would. They cook evenly and thoroughly. HIGHLY recommend.

Gorgeous pots and they clean up so easily! I have the Dutch oven and a sauce pan. I’ve also purchased Caraway as a gift.

I bought the bakeware set. They are beautiful and I like that they are safer than other options however, they scratch easily. On the actual cooking surface and in the paint. I’ve had for only a couple weeks and they already have marks.

Our cookware set from Caraway is durable, high quality and easy to use / clean. Food doesn't stick to the pan, and even after using the pans nearly every day for the past 2 years, they still look nearly brand new after a quick wash. I appreciate the non-toxic ceramic coating and heavy weight of the pans - you can tell they're well made. We have the navy blue color, which we love as well - nice and sleek.
We have the set in green and I love it for the quality and how it looks on the open shelving in my kitchen (I'm shallow like that). I like that it came with care instructions. I second that the outside of the pans can be hard to clean, and yes, they are pricey, but as far as non-stick pans go, these are the best. Also, really thoughtful packaging experience. Update: upped my rating from 4 to 5 bc Caraway just sent me store credit (I'm assuming bc they saw my review?) and that is EXACTLY how you score points with me ;-)
Even though I am a big fan of going out to eat, I am always trying to improve my cooking skills since one day I do hope to host awesome food parties at my place, or just have something really good to make for any family get-togethers. And I know a big part of making good food is having the right tools to make it. I have been looking for a while to find good pots and pans from thrift stores and yard sales, but it has become apparent that people really hang onto their nice stuff for very, very long! So, I figured I should just go all in and buy something really nice if I was never going to find anything used but in good condition for a reasonable price. I had heard about Caraway for a while now and saw it recommended a few times. I wanted something that could work with a portable induction cooktop, as I wanted to try one out since I heard it was much better to use than using gas. I also liked that these pans and pots came in a variety of colors and were non-toxic. Like I know getting a steel pan may have been better since those are very reliable, but I wanted something with a cool color! I saw that Caraway was now on Amazon, which was perfect since I had a bunch of gift card money. I did notice that some reviews say it didn't work too well with induction burners, so that had me quite worried. But I felt it was still worth it even if you had to be really gentle with these pots and pans. I ended up purchasing the Perracotta cookware set, which came with a fry pan, sauce pan, saute pan, and dutch oven. I absolutely love how it came with its own storage system for both the lids and the pots. It was a bit hard to find the room for everything, but thankfully everything ended up just barely fitting in my cabinets! I now treat these pans like my babies and use them sparingly and only for the most important of recipes. And so far, they are working great! I have not had many issues using my induction burner, though I don't often have huge amounts of liquid I need to get to a boil. I make sure to hand wash each piece I use, as I read that these can get damaged easily. Since I do not use them too often, there have not been many chips or scratches yet, though I think one did appear recently which was sad. The nonstick coating is amazing and it works so well. These pots and pans were worth it to me to have something I will keep for many, many years as I continue my cooking journey. But they were still very expensive, and without the Amazon gift cards I had I likely would not have purchased them. But if you want to treat yourself, Caraway is a great option for colorful and safe cooking supplies!

As others said, these pans are quite heavy. Might be good to look into if any weight can be removed from each product.

I've been cooking with Caraway's cookware set and the investment has mostly paid off
The pans are very finicky. They started off as a really nice non stick ban without the use of butter or oil, but now I need to use more oil/butter. They get dinged up pretty easily if you’re not careful. I like the aesthetic of them and weight but I feel like you could invest in other stainless steal pans that might last longer
I’ve read a lot about this just being a marketing brand but I’ve been surprised by how well the pans have held up over time. However securely pricey and feel like I’m paying extra for the brand
Love the way these look and they work well! But you have to be super careful about not scratching the bottom because it looks like mine have chipped a bit or maybe just stained so it's been hard keeping them looking brand new. But overall I think they're a great product!
I’ve been using for about 9months and they are still wonderful. They’re a little less non stick than they were at first but still superb. Consisting temperature throughout. The storage solutions are game changers. The whole set looks and cooks great!
I have a peach colored pan but over time, the bottom and sides stained an almost burnt color. I’ve tried everything to get the stains out but nothing has worked. Other than that, it’s a solid pan! The nonstick works pretty well.

I love the caraway pans, I have it in the beige color. With handwashing it has held up pretty well. Still nonstick after a year or so!
I’ve had my Caraway bakeware and cookware sets for over two years now, and I genuinely love them. Let me start with the bakeware—it's amazing. I don’t even need to use parchment paper because nothing sticks, and everything bakes evenly. I honestly rave about it to anyone who will listen. As for the cookware, I haven’t had any issues with it. I've been careful—always hand washing and using the soft side of the sponge—and because of that, my pans still look brand new after all this time. I know some people have mentioned durability concerns, but in my experience, if you care for them properly, they last beautifully. My only wish? That they offered baking sheets to go with the pans. And I do think the price point is a bit high, but the quality and performance make it worth it if you're investing in something long-term. Overall, I’m super happy with my Caraway sets and highly recommend them if you're looking for stylish, high-quality cookware and bakeware that actually holds up.
