Caraway Reviews

4.3

Caraway earns largely positive reviews for stylish, non-toxic ceramic cookware that heats evenly, releases food cleanly, and includes thoughtful storage like magnetic organizers and a lid holder, indicating the brand is good when cared for properly. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: exterior staining (especially light colors), nonstick that can fade over time, heavy lids and pans, occasional scratching/chipping, and some awkward sizing—making longevity and maintenance the key considerations before buying.

  • The products I have purchased from Caraway are solid. I just don’t think the price is right. Caraway really markets the non-toxic element of its products, but they are not the only non-toxic kitchen product maker in town. So before you fork out all that cash, consider why you really want to buy Caraway vs a cheaper and also safe product. I bought the utensil set honestly because I liked the look, but some silicone utensils would be just as safe and probably more durable. On durability, you can see that the tip of my Caraway spatula is already burnt and a little dark after a few weeks of use. I do really like my food storage containers and the fact that I can put them directly in the oven or microwave rather than transferring food to a plate or other dish. That being said, they aren’t air tight and secure like plastic food storage containers. You really do need the strap if you want to take them outside the home. Overall, I like the products, but they are pricey.

  • The pans are gorgeous, but they don’t last forever (the reality of nonstick cookware). I had my pots/pans for 4 years and they were well loved. If I were to purchase again, I wouldn’t get the white/cream color since they stained and got a bit banged up on the outside. I also use the kettle everyday. It functions great and I love the design, but it’s also a bit banged up.

  • If I know what I know now, i'd prefer to have invested in other type of pans (stainless steel perhaps). I bought 3 pieces from Caraway in navy blue. They get dirty really easy, and you do need that sponge to clean it up. It's a shame we can't put it in the dishwasher. I must say their costumer service is amazing as well as the packaging. But still, not so happy with it overall as I thought I'd be.

  • I've had the baking set for almost 2 years now. It has held up beautifully. Would be a lovely gift for an avid baker, or someone moving into a new apartment/home. Recently I purchased their medium-sized cutting board, which has held up well so far and remains stable when cutting or chopping produce.
