Reviews mention

  • Thoughtful compartments and organization
  • Cushioned handle comfort
  • Clever built-in weight indicator
  • Durable, travel-ready construction
  • Heavy weekender bag ergonomics
  • Scuff-prone light shell finish
  • Occasional zipper and hardware issues
  • Smaller-than-expected interior capacity

BÉIS earns largely positive reviews for sleek, thoughtfully engineered travel gear that works—roomy carry-ons with cushioned handles and built‑in weight indicators, Weekenders with smart shoe compartments, and work totes with practical organization—while recurring complaints cite heaviness (especially Weekenders and totes), scuff‑prone light colors, smaller‑than‑expected interiors on some rollers, and mixed product durability and customer service. For buyers, the brand delivers strong functionality and style, but those sensitive to weight or wear should choose darker shades and consider rolling options over shoulder carry.

  • I have the weekender bag and its perfect for just that! I heard the backpack is great too. A lot of space within the bags and at a good price for luggage.

  • love taking my beis carry-on whenever i'm traveling! it is a good quality and affordable bag.

  • Quality luggage. I do regret the weekend day bag though. It is large and the closures make it difficult to compress at all. It’s an odd shape and if not packed carefully can tip your suitcase over! Love my hardshell suitcase

  • This review is for the Puffer Backpack. I've gotten so much use out of it and it is very functional yet stylish. It's withstood work, commutes, travel, and more.

  • I have the Weekender and the Work Tote. They are very good, durable-feeling, stylish bags. I wish the price point was ever so slightly lower. I feel like these are very appropriately $100 value bags, not more. If you can get these on sale, it is a great deal, but if not, there are close enough copycats out there, specifically at Target. I love the selection and modernization of something that everyone uses at some point, and I do appreciate that they're not doing too much. No complaints aside from the price point.

  • I received the weekender bag as a gift and absolutely love it. It really is the perfect bag for a weekend trip. I particularly like the bottom area for shoes and dirty clothes. Wish the canvas was easier to clean.

  • So practical and fits so much! If the weekender had wheels it would be truly amazing.

  • Love the sport sling bag for travel instead of a traditional fanny. Love the everyday pet tote, beautiful and easy to clean. The dopp kit is too chunky for me, takes up so much space in my carry-on, and the backpack in cream doesn't hold it's shape and got dirty very quickly. Beis is a brand where it's total hit or miss for me. The hits are usually non-traditional accessories. For everything true luggage, I prefer the traditional luggage brands. I used to be a luggage buyer and at the end of the day, the Samsonites of the world are best-known for a reason!

  • Didn't love the quality of the weekender bag. The zipper had issues, and it struggled to stand up when the bottom shoe compartment was zipped on. I wanted to love this but ended up selling it secondhand :( I feel like I'd love Beis if the quality was a little better, I'd also be willing to pay more for it.

  • I have also bought the Essential tote and love it. I really love that it only has 1 handle and the internal organization is incredible!!! I wish it were a bit sturdier though I have the North to South work tote and absolutely LOVE it. It has just the right number of pockets (not too many but enough), the material is good for stains and staying clean with the accent trim of leather (not sure if it is vegan leather or not). I took away one star because it has started to lean to one side. Admittedly this is hard for bags that aren't a sturdier fabric, but I do wish there was some kind of stiffer trim to help is stay standing.

  • This place has the worst customer service and makes it nearly impossible to return products!

  • I bought a travel bag from their Barbie x Beis collection. It has a crossbody or wristlet option, which is easy to use. It fits my passport / phone and wallet easily. It is a very intentionally created with lots of compartments for cards & cash as well as a spot for a pen. It seems high quality and very functional -- time will tell! Smooth zipper. The color is gorgeous, and a great statement piece. It shipped incredibly fast - it was at my house in 2 days!

  • Everything I've bough from this brand is amazing quality and great for travel!

  • My wife and I both have the carry on size roller and the weekend. Best luggage/travel bags I've ever had. They pay attention to every detail. It's solid. Easy to carry/wheel. The set goes together easily if going on a big trip. We got them when they had a massive sale which was even better!

  • I've had my Weekender bag for years now, and it's traveled the world with me. It's a durable, great-sized bag that can facilitate both minimal and maximal packing as needed. I've used this bag for everything from an overnight trip to international travel. The only tweak I would make would be to provide an over-the-shoulder strap. If you've got a lot packed in, it can be very uncomfortable to carry on one shoulder and can easily slip off given the way the handles are constructed.

  • Move aside Away. Beis has the perfect checked luggage! The addition of interior pockets, a better-fitting compression pad, a soft-touch handle, weight detector, expandable zipper and extra bag handle, make this top notch. Especially when you look at the price tag, this is well worth the buy!

  • I want to love Beis - I am 50/50. I have a few pieces that feel high quality, and have tried a few others that felt cheap and did fall apart a bit. I think this is product dependent! I love the makeup bags as they always have ample storage and they hold up/easily cleanable. The work tote did not hold up however and ended up fraying (even with minimal use.)

  • The weekender mini bag fits so much stuff while still being approved by airlines as a personal item. The pockets are very convenient, specially the carry on strap. It is kind of heavy and a little rigid but very convenient for those cheap flights

  • Favorite travel brand ever. I have the luggage, weekender bag, North to South tote, backpack, and makeup pouch. I use these products every day and they are such high quality. I get compliments everywhere I go! 10/10
