BÉIS Reviews

Best of Thingtesting4.3

BÉIS earns largely positive reviews for sleek, thoughtfully engineered travel gear that works—roomy carry-ons with cushioned handles and built‑in weight indicators, Weekenders with smart shoe compartments, and work totes with practical organization—while recurring complaints cite heaviness (especially Weekenders and totes), scuff‑prone light colors, smaller‑than‑expected interiors on some rollers, and mixed product durability and customer service. For buyers, the brand delivers strong functionality and style, but those sensitive to weight or wear should choose darker shades and consider rolling options over shoulder carry.

  • I've had this work tote for 2 years and baby girl is holding out so strong! The quality is top notch. I love the sturdy structure. It may be called the mini, but it fits so much stuff. My owala, laptop and loupes (I'm an orthodontist) all fit in there with space to spare. Love it and would 10000% purchase it again! Also LOVE the strap on the back so it slides right onto my carryon for when I travel for conferences. It's the small additions like the key strap that really make this the perfect bag.

  • I know there are a couple competitors in this space but Beis holds its own - it seems more luxurious but without outrageous pricing. They have a big range of products - from the see-through crossbody, to mini roller to bring on flights, and various toiletry options. I love the products all feel sophisticated but young, with thoughtful design in their amenities. They are practical but look good as well.

  • Shay really thinks of everything between the pockets, key leashes, etc! I love these bags, the crescent catchall is my ride or die. I have it in a limited edition cobalt blue and get compliments all the time. I also love my mini weekender as a personal item for airline travel!

  • I've first bought from Beis over 3 years ago to het their hanging cosmetics case and I absolutely loved it - super practical and used it for a long time. Then, I discovered all their mom/baby products and got a bunch of them for my friends - I also kept one diaper backpack (Elsa collection) for myself as it just was so cute and also practical. I don't have a kid but it kept everything organized for me for travels & more. Eventually, I had to get a weekender and a carry-on (well, two carry ons, as I got the international size and regular size) and I love all of them. The weekender is great for road trips while I love the carry-ons for flights. I have taken the regular size carry-on on many international trips and have not had any issues yet (knock on wood) - but when I want to feel super sure that all things go right and it's a shorter trip I just take the small one. The regular fits so much that I've taken it on trips of 10 days or more and been fine. Especially when you pair it with the expandable backpack you will be able to fit a lot. When I first saw the expandable backpack I thought "this is supposed to fit stuff? it looks tiny" but then I used it and it fits so, so much. And the different pockets are perfect!!! It's my holy grail backpack at this point. Especially since I am a very klutzy gal and any spills just wipe off the material. I am obsessed. I also have the regular backpack that also fits a lot but since I love the expandable so much I have not used that one yet. Now, onto my newest purchase, the essential toiletry kit. Ever since it's first release during the Wicked drop I've been eye-ing this case but I was hesitant due to the fact that I just couldn't imagine how it would actually work and if I would use it much since I mostly need clear cases for air travel. Recently, though, I needed to take a bunch of makeup on the road for an event and couldn't really find a good case for it, so I pulled the trigger when the Thingdrop happened. When it got delivered I immediately put all my stuff in there that I still had in various different bags that I took to the event and went "woah it fits all of this and there is still room?" - like, I am not joking, I had everything I put into this case in three different bags before. And yes the case is pretty big so I wouldn't take it in a carry on (you couldn't anyway cause it's not clear) but if you have a suitcase you're going to check or its a road trip, this case will be your savior. So many organizing pockets and, again, so much room. Plus, you don't have to worry about it toppling over on the sink like my three other bags did. Definitely a new favorite for me!!!
